LOL - "I see daylight!" - that's gotta be stressful but looks like well executed plan.
Found your channel through "Be Free Builds". I installed a maxxair fan at the end of summer, anxious to test it in summer of 2021. Last June I was on vacation testing out my partially converted bus and it was 90+ all week and massive heat transfer from the cab to living area, I am hoping the fan will draw out some of the ambient heat. The install went really well, NO LEAKS!!
Thank you! I hope the vent will keep the temps down in the summer.
@@JoelTremblayCA I have no doubt it will definitely help. Like I said I’ve yet to test mine. But in my house if I put a fan in the window in summer it helped pull the excess heat out there’s been built up inside. So I figure in theory the same thing should work in my bus.
Thank you... I'm building one for my mother in-law. I'm using your videos as inspiration. Some things are going to be different like no ice fishing holes... Eh! Nobody is perfect right! Thank you again.
Thanks for watching! Good luck with your build.
Yes im new to this but need to learn
Awesome videos I love what you're doing. This is exactly my plan! Very helpful vids 🙂
Thank you :) good luck with your build.
@@JoelTremblayCA Thanks so much!
My 6x12 trailer also has the 3" side vents which look to be similar to yours and I have thought a lot about skipping the roof fan and going with an inline fan setup run off of those with the component/hardware hidden away behind cabinets or the like. Do you find your side vents have any practical use anymore? I picture cold air leaking in on y'all in the night.
Something about your videos really flow nicely and surely hit the mark. I have watched many, many van/trailer conversion videos and these are among the best I've seen. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Because the trailer is such a small space and tightly sealed, it is always a good idea to have some ventilation whether its with a roof vent, window, or side vents. I left mine in because I wanted to make sure I constantly have fresh air coming in. I didn't find it to be a negative impact on heating in the winter. Could always make plugs if I found it to be the case!
How do you wire it?
Theres another video on my channel where I finish all the wiring of the trailer and show how to do it. Thanks for watching!
Can you tell us what fan you installed?
The one I purchased isn't available anymore but this one is similar. amzn.to/37QAmaa
Does it leak
No sir!
@@JoelTremblayCA well it looks like I'm goina have to put one in my toy hauler🤔. What brand would you recommend
@@lastmanstanding1767 I ordered mine off of Amazon. So far so good!
