So I know I promised MK9 next but the DLC announcement for Elden Ring got me hyped so I'm gonna sneak in a playthrough of that first, but with a little twist 🤔
Also. IJ2 I think is actually the best NRS story

7:34 Injustice 2 Joker's look kind of annoyed me but lately I'm okay with it since I realized there is kind of a reason it's "sexy" Joker.
At least in the actual story mode cause he only shows up once in the entire story mode for this fight against Harley, and it's after she's been gassed so we're not seeing the Joker we're seeing the version of the Joker she sees.
Now that, makes proper sense to me about his appearance now.
His design is still far better than Jared Leto Joker or Elseworlds Joker though.

Just had a realization...the Joker shown in-game is what Harley "saw" him as, not what he really looked like.
When you realize that for the Superman ending, it got a crossover comic with Masters of the Universe and basically had He-man beat up Brainiac Superman.
I still need to read the He Man crossover tbh I forgot it existed. Hoping that's the what if & IJ3 follows the batman onw
@@tgtkai I wouldn't be surprised that it is the what if, given that MK 1 is doing mostly the good ending of MK 11 Aftermath. So, they are probably going to go the route of the good ending for IJ2 as canon for the games.
1) Supergirl being an adaptation of Melissa Benoist's Supergirl was so nice (and eye-candy).
2) How many "She kinda bad. I's that Frost?" shots this game have?
3) Our of joke, i think this is the best game NRS have ever made. Even better than MK11 and MK1, that came after this.
4) By the way, Black Canary is from that universe. Green Arrow is the one from another universe. That's one of the thing from the comic books that stay in the game.

I really feel bad for a Supergirl in this game when she was lied to the people that she fought were her friends but in reality they were just trying to manipulate and brainwash her and she thought that she was fighting on the right side I really hoping the third game she's the main character and hoping that maybe she can learn how to adapt to Earth and learn how to move on from her cousin after failing to save him.
I love this game so much man. Red hood, the turtles, and power girl were my mains.

dont rlly mind joker's design in this game tbh. its harley's i have an issue with, simply because now every harley design is just modeled after the suicide squad movie which i love but its overdone now. bring back black/red/blonde harley. also fun fact: scarecrow in this game is voiced by robert englund aka freddy krueger

The voice acting for this game was so good. The fact that they got almost all the VA's from the Justice League animated series to voice their respective characters was so damn cool. I also now realize that several members of Critical Role voice characters in this game.

I’ve actually been playing IJ2 for the first time recently. I was incredibly excited when the game was announced, pre ordered it and then never played it. I just got on with life, played different games. Then, Red Hood was announced, bought him, still never played it. Now MK1 flopped and a buddy of him reminded me of injustice, went to buy it and my dumbass already had it 😂😂
I have really been enjoying this game! I am god awful at traditional fighting games, but I love DC so I’m learning the best I can!
Cheetah in some versions goes from beefed up furry to an actual God Killer (Apparently that's where half of her power comes from) which is one of the reasons she CAN give Wonder Woman trouble tbh it's weirder to see Cheetah so weak with how uber-strong she is in the comics
As someone more familiar with marvel than DC, this game makes me annoyed that literally all we've gotten is crossovers with capcom characters I really don't care about other than a select few

I played injustice 2 last week and One detail that caught my eye is the default outfit. In suicide, squad kill the Justice League for deadshot are very similar to deadshot inJustice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks the same.
The thing I always remember about Injustice 2 was the number of weirdly close-up shots of people's faces in the story mode. Seriously, take a shot every time the camera gets RIGHT up close to someone's face, it gets really uncomfortable at times. 💀💀
Sexy Joker does make sense in the story context, as it is Harley's vision of him. Unfortunately, outside of story mode, it is a bit too Leto-like (not as bad as that, though).
I used to watch my older cousin play this but he was always aware that it was too violent for me and now I know why he would cover Harley's special

I stumbled upon Injustice and it destroyed my brain for Superman when I heard he became a tyrant. I never heard of the game but the story is really sad when you get into it.
There was a great comic arc (In the Justice League backups during Forever Evil, IIRC) with Grid after his initial appearance where Cyborg teams up with the Metal Men to defeat him. Other than that, Grid in the comics is basically "What Ultron was weaker and more of a team player?" Though in fairness, the entire Earth-3 Crime Syndicate was fairly ineffectual, especially under Geoff Johns.
Brainiac in Injustice 2 was honestly so good

You can tell Kai has never seen a critique on this games story. Im not saying its necessarily bad, but people have torn it to shreds and Kais innocence to it all is charming

Injustice 2 underrated
I think a lot of people who don't like the Injustice 2 storyline is because they messed with the continuity too much from the comics it is based on. Like it straight up makes no sense at times. But on it's own, I also agree that it's a good storyline.

Fate dies but it does tease a bigger enemy is coming - he is just about to say and then he dies.
Am I the only one who hates the fact how the characters in this game, which are of the Regime universe, look more like their classic selves from the other universe? And really what was the point of the added armor? The first trailer for Injustice 2 made it seem like it would have been a story thing, but it just turned out to be a merely cosmetic

Wait if the regime killed one of his ancestors how was the reverse flash even born in the first place. It's not like the regime was a weird alteration to the timeline. It's just part of this universe, so how was he even born? His ancestor would have always been dead, he would have not been born before he got his powers so I'm not sure how he could have prevented himself not being born. He's the reverse flash so there's probably some weird time travel shenanigans that can explain it. And now that I'm thinking about this, maybe that means he has to be his own ancestor. That's a very time travel thing to happen.

In my opinion, suicide squad should have been a continuation of the bad ending of injustice 2 where the whole justice league is with Superman on brainiacs ship and the suicide squad is tasked with taking down Superman’s regime. Would’ve been a much better story then. Still wouldn’t have been realistic for the Suicide Squad to kill them but at least it’s a bit more realistic of a mind control thing

Injustice 2 is set in the regime time line
But it seems the devs only got an explanation of what happened in the original game because the only thing that connects injustice 1 and 2 is that Batman mentions the regime, and Superman being imprisoned
(I know there are more that connects the 2 games)
But I wanna know how Damien went from a cool, long haired, badass.. to a literal child, in the previous game Damien had this cool rough looking suit but now it’s a goddamn made from china plastic suit…. It just doesn’t fit.
And how did Damien go back to Batman and side with him… if the time line doesn’t match this..
what were they thinking.. making this game… they were careless enough to follow Damien’s part of the story and it’s just that shit..
Injustice 2 was in development when the comics was coming out, my guess is that done it between 2015 and 2016.
I still hate that they gave the mech to Hal that is Kyle's thing.
