If he's building it to run SCORE legal in class 7? To my understanding you cannot notch the frame whatsoever. This is also the first of any of his videos that I have watched.
I did consider notching the frame….. want to see what I can get away with. If it doesn’t have enough up travel after my first trip out I will change my axle side link tabs from forward facing to down facing, notch the frame and gain an additional 6” up travel without modifying shock mounts.
