i prefer the city sling a bit more tbh, i like the fact that i can stow away the straps when not in use. i also like that i can adjust the tightness of the bags exterior and make it slimmer when where if i’m not carrying as much in it, it won’t be baggy
Would the buckle wear out over time because its magnetic? I've heard magnets lose strength over time. I was enticed to get this sling because of its techy aesthetic and so I dont have to bring backpacks for carrying light, the magnetic buckles are the only thing that discourages me a little.
That clasp at 5:12 looks like it's worryingly easy to disengage. Is it? Have you had it inadvertently open? For something holding your passport, wallet, keys, phone, just looking at that clasp gives me anxiety.
Strap buckle placement on the city 2 placed on the day sling 3 would make it the perfect bag imo . I have Both; being left handed , the day sling 3s buckle placement is very awkward sitting on the shoulder instead of under the arm for a right handed person.
Nah, I disagree. As someone who also owns City Sling 2, the positioning of the buckle is really annoying, especially when you are seated. The large buckle prevents you from sitting comfortably since it rubs against the wall or something else that your back is leaning against. The DS3 for me is an answer to that.
@@shersurewin Totally agree AND I dont even own it LOL I fell in love with the city sling 2, wanted to order it yesterday until I contacted AER and they told me you cant reposition the buckle to the front, which is just a big no, I cant drive or rest with the bag and somebody can steal it from me, I was really dissapointed The day 3 sling is AWESOME but I just dont like that it is 3 liters I just dont know what to order
@@neoNashShaggy But you're lucky tho that you noticed the flaws of the bag before purchasing it. It was only later that I realized how uncomfortable it was to wear it and lean against something when the buckle is at the back. Same as you, I'm always concerned that someone will unbuckle it and steal it from me. Also, because the CS2 is so rigid and boxy, carrying it feels like carrying a brick. Before selling the CS2, I had it for about 6 months. The bag's aesthetic edge is why I kept it for so long, despite the fact that the cons are a major turnoff. For me, the DS3 is simply a better sling in terms of functionality (more capacity, better organization, and better buckle placement), which is why I ordered it and am still waiting for it to arrive.

I agree on the style thing but as a dad with kids I often have a bunch of crap I need to carry that don't always fit in a pocket or don't want to have a backpack the sling perfect size.
That... wasn't a review. Just pure praise.
Compact slings can be very handy! And I really like your production, the edit is very clean and concise. Keep it up!
the xpac version has aquaguard zips on the main compartment as well.

I ended up getting both!
@@MehoyMenoy13 which of the two u prefer? or bring most often? city sling size and volyme is enough?
I misunderstood what you had to say about the latch, is there a way to make it more secure/anti-theft?
It always slides to the side from front or back. Constant adjustment needed.
Does Aer have any discount codes?

Great video! Will it fit the iPad Mini 6th gen? Thank you.
Yes

Great review / overview btw , love the b roll and the close up shots !!

What are the small things you’d change?
Which jacket is that you’re wearing? The grey one.
What jacket is it ?
What’s the grey coat
Need something for iPad mini 6
What’s the difference between this sling 3 and the sling 3 x pack ?
Just material
Xpack has Water resistant zippers, more durable exterior and has a high visibility orange interior.
is the exterior material cut proof

hello which is more cute for walking around the city, aer sling 3 regular or Pac 3
Kill that filter. Looks nice from far distance, but barely can see any details - everything is so dark.
Great video! And don't be fooled folks, this is just a fanny pack :)
It's funny how fashion works. For some reason, it is now considered stylish to wear grandpa's toiletry bag from the 70's on one's back.
It’s function not fashion. Its fashion may or may not just be an added bonus.
Xpac is the real trash bag / toiletry bag look lol.
It’s better than paying thousands to look homeless or like you beg for cigarettes

If there's something stopping you from saying what you don't like about it, then this is an ad.
Does a steamdeck fit in there ?
Yes probably. It shows the similar size Nintendo switch fitted inside on the aer website.
