The thermal paste will need to be replaced, if that isnt the issue then its probably the main board. Are you a smoker? just because it looks clean on the outside doesn't mean its clean on the inside.
@@magcs6233 Not a smoker. Do I sound like one? That's honestly kind of funny. Anyway I will try to look into this thermal paste I guess? I don't really know anything about this stuff and never really needed to because every other console I've ever owned never had this issue nor they did they have issues so quickly before. Thanks for your comment
@@dacedave4161 No you don't sound like one haha, just that smoke and pets are the 2 big things that can clog up a console. If you haven't ever done a repair such as thermal paste I'd reccomend getting a shop to do it, many computer shops will also work on consoles. Do you have any proof of purchase? If so I'd try to get into contact with Microsoft themselves, and see if they can RMA it.
Here's a list of things that I have been told to try. Maybe you will have better luck. Let me know if you have other ideas. Going to settings and turning off various things such as capturing, auto updates, and changing between power saving mode to sleep mode. (I think power saving mode is better) Cleaning the xbox. You must make sure you clear dust from within your xbox or else it will overheat. Unplugging the xbox. The most basic thing but sometimes it helps in rare occasions Deleting games. If 90% of your storage is being used, it can potentially cause lots of issues. This was not my case but still tried anyway. Make sure your xbox has room for ventilation. Keeping it inside cabinets is a bad idea. Make sure the vents have plenty of open room.
old school way to get it cool down is with a towel that what i had to use it for back in the days of 360
@@Ther3alfox That's interesting. I don't think I heard this before. Thanks for the tip.
