I learned a little trick with window cranks going back on. Maybe you already know this. If the driver's window is all the way down, put the passenger's window all the way down. Look at the passenger's window crank position. Adjust the driver's side window crank in the same position and your done. Nice job Fred.
To avoid scratching paint, you can use plastic pry tools. I bought a five-piece set online. Also, if like me, you’ve been working on cars since power windows weren’t so common, you have the old flat metal tool (I have two) to slide under your window crank handle and push off the metal clip. As for reinstalling the crank handles, I like to slide the handle on without the clip, crank the window up to close it, pull off the handle and slide the clip on, then install the handle so that the handle is horizontal with knob facing towards the front of the vehicle.
Great video. As far as the window crank spring clip, there is a tool for that. It's flat with two angled "teeth". You slide it behind the crank handle, the teeth spread open the clip, and the crank handle comes off. The best part about this tool is that the clip stays with the handle when you pull it off. GM vehicles had those clips for years. It does make it easier.
The problem started with the JK and it's saggy nets, then someone decided to make them bigger in the JL's. So you actually do get more storage area Fred, because the nest drop everything.

As an engineer who worked on that door and that net, I can guarantee that it is both useless and will eventually fail on you. We tried to make it go away, but it's more difficult to make design changes than you would think.
If the jk door swung open to the fender like yours did at the beginning of this video, you'd have a mirror dent in the cowl and a flare dent in the door! Why doesn't jeep realize this need for a better pocket system???
I wish they made these form my JK. the pocket for the nest is smaller, but still has the same issues. mine lasted 2 years here in the desert before they started sagging.
One or two lines of plastic screwed vertically over the net which divide the net into two or three pockets could solve the problem more effectively. You don't even need to put the door panel off.
It seems a bit much to change out the net. I bought mine from DV8. It's metal and heavy duty. Took the bottom screws out and replaced with longer screws. Less than 30 minutes to change the 2 front doors.
Better check the front diff, mine had a handfull of debris from manufacturing in the front differential and currently fighting them to replace it at 22k.
First rule of owning a Jeep is to remove the doors and top. Problem solved. ;) Joking aside, I like these replacements but long for a more durable version of the net. Seems like that material does not exist since Jeep or the aftermarket is not offering.
These pockets are basically a more durable alternative to the net. The plastic is flexible, so it can fit larger objects but is still incredibly strong. I have a video where I stress test these pockets if you are curious.
Storage space to fit a water bottle, radio, cell phone, papers, etc. = fits nothing. Also, its an American made product that costs barely more than the poorly designed Chinese versions. Not insignificant.

You don't even need to put the door panel off.
Put the spring clip back on the window winder as soon as you take the handle off the winder mechanism, that way you dont loose the damn thing.
They can't even hold the door wiring harness when you take off your doors 🤘😂

Those body clip tools come in a kit with assorted shapes and sizes, in plastic so you don't scratch the sh!t out of the paint.
