Fred I really like your hat. The thing I like about it best is that its just a plain black hat with absolutely no design on it whatsoever. You should sell some.
I learned to put the hood up when winching anyway as a safety measure in case the cable broke or a hook came off, save the windshield and driver from getting hit, so controller under the hood sounds right
Fred I'd like to have that for a project too. But same situation to many other ones and it would be a heck of a trip to get it. Your last road trip with Rick P. you guys passed my area on last days of it.
I almost bought that thing years ago when it was on Facebook marketplace in Utah. You can't believe how surprised I was to see it on dirt every day. I'm very happy I didn't because the episode was great and I would not have had time to fix all the problems with it.
It would be funny for it to go back to utah. If I remember your episode you bought this thing in huntsville.. I live just on the other side of the mountain west of Ogden.. but I really don't need yet another weird vehicle..
With blunt honesty, I believe I cannot use that “monstrosity” and nor fathom someone who can use it for more than “look at what I have that used to be on a TV show but is useful as teets on an angry bull” use. But for $3500, let me see what’s in my couch cushions!!!!!
Great sales pitch, someone will have fun with it.
Very cool Jeep/truck/thing & one of my favorite DED episodes.

'72-'75 was the best years for the CJ5.
Fred! That thing would be awesome for taking people out to see the wild horses here in the Outer Banks. Wish I had the room.

Nows your chance!
Those turbine wheels are just the dadgum bee's knees y'all
Ridiculously enough to be a cool driver. Little too sketchy to road-trip back to Florida. Hope it stays as a jeep truck thingy. Lol.
I would buy it but my wife won’t let me. And I’m not married.

The original gladiator
I would love to get ahold of that jeep thing! It's so cool 😎
Tell us about that winch again Fred.
Nice hat.
Subbed cause I’m also a Fred.😇
Cool
Fred you’re the best worst influence ever
Id love to have it. But getting it all to TN would be a logistics nightmare.
👍👍
I like it better with the mis-matched turbine wheels.
Have you sold it yet? How do we contact you?
Ken
Guess if I waited till the end.
Hope you're not in fire danger
I would just cj5 tub and chassis.
Free Shipping? 🤣
I'd buy it but my neighbors
I’d love to own the Jeep-truck-thing. But my bank account says “NO”… 😭
Hey Fred, you mentioned that you have way too many projects. Did your FC move in 2024??🤔😜
Jeepers
