- In this video I talk about how to study more efficiently. This is an important topic for any student trying to learn lots of information over a long period of time. Being a medical student helps identify the best ways to study and learn knew information, hence why I wanted to share some of these tips with you. Its important to find ways to improve how well information is transferred from the short term to the long term memory. I also talk about the components of memory, and the working memory model, and how that can be used to maximise retention of information.

Its amazing right?? I use it all the time
Could you please do a video on self-study? Specifically for having to teach yourself a curriculum with no teachers and only textbooks and Internet resources. This video was also super super helpful.
Best way is to read books, find or make powerpoints, and taking quizzes, doing HW, and tests. If you can plan the schedule for all this but self-monitor yourself, you will have effective and immersed self-study. Once you get to a high level though like completed biochem, then you can just read powerpoints and take notes to study a topic no need to read books, just google here and there.

bro😍😍😍
I find the method with the notepad interesting and it sounds useful. Can you explain further how exactly you do it because I didn't understand it well enough?
Who's this handsome man? 😻 Thanks for the helpful tips!
For revising would u recommend understanding and recall the topic at the start by writing it down eg:notes (summarising it from revision guide) and then after memorise it by using active recall also I am studying for gcse
Great video. Very usefull. I have a question thought. I just watched one video of yours that you said that is good to read your own notes whenever you get a chance, because it will solidify your understanding every time you re-read it. But in this video you say it doesn't work. Can you explain it to me please? Sorry about my english, i'm from Brazil.
You're advices are very encouraging. But when you say you study 3-4 months before exam I get anxious. Like I am the type who cramp up just the day before my exam. 😆😂
I study 10 hours everyday that's why I pass all my exams I gets As. in my campus..
13:00 felt attacked 🤧😂😂
Why am I only seeing this video now😩
Would you say understanding the lectures first then making your own questions as you go along help ? I don’t really make notes I make sure I understand the topic first then make my own questions and answer them in my note book if that makes sense 😭 thank you for this video !!
yess definitely understanding the lectures first. There is obviously variations of how you make notes, main thing is that you dont want to loose information and have to re-research all that again for max efficiency :)
I was hoping to be the first person to comment
