    The trick is to never be emotional about things out of your control. Once you adopt the "it is what it is" mindset, you'll be free

      @theemperorspenguin you're logic is pretty pathetic. Obviously that example is not what he was saying..as in if you just focus on yourself and don't see how people are judjing you then you'll find things easier. I'm sorry, but you're example and understanding was very silly

    Do not judge yourself by the words and opinions of others.

  • @GigaBeanZ

    Yes! My insecurities were what's stopping me from being confident so I worked on those. Like my language barrier back when I moved here to Canada. By talking more in the language and immersing myself, as my pronunciation got better so did my confidence in speaking it! Definitely applicable in any aspect as you perfectly explained

    Confidence is being content with what you have.

  • @lendrestapas2505
    @lendrestapas2505 3 роки тому +8

    confidence is trial and error, you gotta get a mindset that tells you that the opinions of others don't matter (of course not every opinion should be denied) and then try to live it out, externalize it. And you will become better at this over time. It's similar to weightlifting if you think about it.

    • @khobzabatata7100
      @khobzabatata7100 3 роки тому +1

      Which is why activities such as weightlifting and other things build your confidence cos they teach you skills that become apparent in your personality. Honestly for A man all you need is lowkey a gym and ur confidence can skyrocket. Anything in the mind and soul that can be built up will increase general.confidence

  • @aimz2912
    @aimz2912 3 роки тому

    Thankyou. I really need to hear this. To be honest I was on the verge of losing myself recently..I was in what you mentioned a lie of 'i have no ability' resulting from unfair comparison. As you mentioned Mozart had a musical background so for him to adapt to music was perhaps a more natural transition. You see I also shifted countries as you mentioned and although I am normally a confident and social person..those aspects of mine began to shut down when people were no longer interacting in the same language as me (not literally) I disregarded my own abilities and began to chase what they had (fit in survival instinct kicked in) until a lot of unfair comparison and injustic to myself led me to believe I did not have any worthwhile abilities. It took me time to recognise that the field was never plane...my learning gap was a lot larger there was no way I could fill it in the same speed and same way as everyone else. So I decided to be human! and I am glad I did because I can breath again without feeling like I am falling behind. I have decided to flex my muscles at the back of the pack until I work my way up to the top. Everyone starts from zero right? The ability to learn means we can bridge the gaps and self-confidence is a part of the journey.

    Being confident takes a lot. People don't realise it. You have to learn to not absorb everyone's opinion of you. And realise people react based on how they feel. Getting out of your confort zone you have to be okay with rejection. And even when you think you may have mastered it another thing will hit. Either you let it sway you or you keep going.
