Excited to bring you more Recipes, Guests & Claire Recreates in 2025! Taking a short pause while I’m on maternity leave, but stay tuned for highlights and surprise episodes. Happy baking!
The first thing I ever baked were your brown butter chocolate chip cookies. I made a large batch for a party. All of the cookies were gone within an hour. Everyone was raving about them and now they all think I’m some gifted baker. I should just retire now while I’m on top, but I won’t. Instead I’m going to make all of these and keep my winning streak going. Thanks for the delicious, easy to follow recipes Claire!
Same thing happened when I made her apple crisp! My teenage sons took the entire pan and ate it together on Thanksgiving evening. They couldn't get over how all-encompassingly delicious and mouth watering it was, and they both typically don't love cooked apples! Claire rocks!!!!!!
I love the longer videos. Sometimes I have trouble sleeping and put on your playlists because it's relaxing. The longer videos do the same thing for me, I appreciate them!!
Thank you for giving us seemingly new content while you are on maternity leave. Please enjoy this time as a new family of 3 humans + kitties. I have made a few of these cookies before but am looking forward to remaking the choc chip ones because I know they are top-notch delicious and adding a few of the others.
14:29 "I haven't had my lunch dessert yet" is probably one of the most relatable sentences I've ever heard! Dessert after each meal....WooWhoo! I assume this compilation video might mean that wee baby Saffitz has arrived safe and well? If so, a massive congratulations. Lee x
a cookie cookbook?? yes please! love the idea of a tea and coffee cookie chapter. cookies and brownies/bars are my favorite to bake. gonna have to try some of these
The cookie compilation was fun to watch and remember back to seeing the episodes when they first came out. One really neat coincidence that I hadn’t noticed previously was Claire’s cat, who is sharing the kitchen with her, is black and white during the Black and White Cookie episode.
The chewy molasses cookies are always a big hit! I usually make half as is -- then half rolled in a mix of light sugar/cinnamon (rather than the demererra sugar). Both delicious, but I like the option that's a bit sweeter too!!!
This was a nice video, it gave me a reminder of cookies, you have made, and the filio cookie, is gonna be made for my coworkers here at my birthday next month, thanks for the great work always, both Claire and the guys behind camera.
Mazel tov! So happy for you and Harris. I have made several of your cookies, including the Spicy Molasses Cookies, the Blue & White and the Pistachio Pinwheels. Quite scrumptious. Although the B & Ws were a little time-consuming and I'm definitely not a soft cookie person, I will try the chocolate version.
I used to watch your videos almost SEVEN years ago and just thought of you while watching a how it’s made video lol I so glad your still doing these videos
First time I made Claire's chocolate chip cookies was for the bake sale of a triathlon that had both kids and adult races. The cookies spread more than I anticipated, so all the ones that were along the sides of the tray ended up looking like the poop emoji. The kids LOVED them. Now I do it on purpose. 😄
So, when I first started watching your videos, I thought the intro song said “These are her sons” not “Dessert Person” now it might actually mean something 😊 congrats!
If I were to add less baking soda to the chocolate chip cookies would I get less spread and more of a mound? And would a bit of additional flour assist that mound-ness ?
In Germany there is something similar to the black and white cookie. Its called Amerikaner wich translates to American. It has usually just white sugar frosting but can be themed like for halloween or valentines. You can find them in most bakeries.
Hello Claire I love your vids I had a request because I have loved this item forever ! Could you recreate McDonald’s Mexican hot sauce ?!? Plzzzzzzzzzz !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it’s so good and I always wanted to make a similar one !!! Plzzzz
I'd love to see you recreate the old 2000s kraft mac and cheese recipe. If you've already done it, I can't find the video. I'm extremely nostalgic for the taste, but I haven't found a recipe that has that radioactive cheese flavor.
Could you please recreate the Girl Scouts S'mores cookies? Those are my favorite Girl Scout cookies (though I won't mind your critiques), and I was disappointed to hear they are being discontinued after this season
Once you try linzers topped with chopped walnuts, you'll never go back. A wash of egg white, and sprinkle with or dip it in a mixture of chopped walnut and confectioner sugar (and vanilla if you have a dry form of it) Toasts in the oven and so delicious.
What if you’re not a fan of citrus flavor in desserts, but really love the lime squiggles. 😭 I unfortunately do not like orange, lemon, or lime desserts. Maybe vanilla?
I live at 8000ft and I have twitched the chocolate chip cookie for a year, and I think I finally got where I wanted to. I use 200g butter, 300g of flour, and half of the baking powder. Hope it helps. Also if making a cake, I reduce leaveners to 1/3 of the quantity
Claire and Ina Garten are both proponents of "good vanilla," which these days is extremely expensive. On the other hand, the folks over at America's Test Kitchen and Serious Eats, in blind taste tests, couldn't tell the difference in most baked goods between the real thing and imitation vanilla extract, which is a fraction of the price. In fact, the flavor of the imitation stuff was actually preferred when there was a noticeable difference because of its higher vanillin content (vanillin is the chemical that makes vanilla taste like vanilla).
I get your frustration, kinda, but maybe look into it better before making such a judgement. They always gave us plenty of recipes to try out and she clearly cares about her audience, with all the explanations she gives. On top of that, many people keep saying her recipes work, whereas many other creators' do not. Life happens, both bad and good. She's growing another person, she has the right to take a break, don't you agree?
are you clinically stupid or what? if you took two seconds to look around the channel before spouting your hatred (which i imagine perfectly represents how you live the rest of your life) you will see that claire is on maternity leave since she is having a baby. groundbreaking isn't it that people can read? well, everyone except for you it seems.
Excited to bring you more Recipes, Guests & Claire Recreates in 2025! Taking a short pause while I’m on maternity leave, but stay tuned for highlights and surprise episodes. Happy baking!
Congratulations on your new family member.😃
And thanks for the fun cookies.🍪
Congratulations to you and Harris! Lucky baby! Take care of you and enjoy these precious days. Xoxo
Congratulations! Take all the time you need to enjoy and nurture your family!
Congratulations!!
Congrats on the newest member of the family!! Perhaps a jr dessert person Claire?

Getting to be part of the production crew must be the best job ever getting to try all of those amazing recipes!
I love these 1 hour episodes ❣️ thank you. Now I just need a playlist of like 4 episodes all 1 hour long. 💓
I’ve made 3 of these recipes and all three were HITS! I have three grown children & the Pinwheel’s are the favorite!
a cookie cookbook?? yes please! love the idea of a tea and coffee cookie chapter. cookies and brownies/bars are my favorite to bake. gonna have to try some of these
How'd you know all I wanted was to watch Claire make cookies for an hour and a half straight? 😂❤
claire, i hope you, baby, and harris are doing wonderful and enjoying your new life together! 💗
Oh my, happy birthday to me!! This is such a treat, thank you Claire!!❤❤
The cookie compilation was fun to watch and remember back to seeing the episodes when they first came out. One really neat coincidence that I hadn’t noticed previously was Claire’s cat, who is sharing the kitchen with her, is black and white during the Black and White Cookie episode.
This’ll be really nice to listen to while I work today.
Have a wonderful maternity leave and sending positive vibes and healthy happy baby and you be an amazing mom 😊❤❤😊❤
Maybe we could get a bloopers video? Congrats Claire!!! So impressed with your work! Best of luck with the baby!

❤✨️❤✨️..a forever favorite video of yours! Hope you are well and enjoying your future.
29:52 Smuckers All Natural for anyone wondering :)
Ive made all of these except for the black and white cookies and the phyllo pinwheel cookies! They’re next on the list for sure
I'm trying to lose weight 😭😭😭
Congratulations on your pregnancy! A few cookies to celebrate won't hurt 😊
I used to watch your videos almost SEVEN years ago and just thought of you while watching a how it’s made video lol I so glad your still doing these videos
These are gonna be a walk in the park after making your croquembouche recipe! 😂❤
I never thought of sheet pans having a lid and my mind is absolutely blown by this.
the sheet pan lid is genius
Congratulations Claire, I hope you maternity leave is full of joy and cozy nesting. Warmest and happiest regards.
All those cookies look amazing Claire! ❤😊😊
How do you feel about using convection vs regular oven feature?
First time I made Claire's chocolate chip cookies was for the bake sale of a triathlon that had both kids and adult races. Congratulations, Claire! You are going to a great mom.
i don’t even like cookies, but if Claire posts…damn right i’m going to watch it 😭😭

Amazing recipes ❤
Thank You Claire! Keep note of your cravings…maybe your number one fave baked goodie will take center stage, let us know later? 😊
The face falling at 01:21:34 😂❤
can you do a proper black forest cake
please ;) :0
Bake the baby well Claire! Happy motherhood
I'd love to see you recreate the old 2000s kraft mac and cheese recipe. If you've already done it, I can't find the video. I'm extremely nostalgic for the taste, but I haven't found a recipe that has that radioactive cheese flavor.
you are simply the best :)
Nice Elk!!!🦌 1:10:40 😄
Could you please recreate the Girl Scouts S'mores cookies? Those are my favorite Girl Scout cookies (though I won't mind your critiques), and I was disappointed to hear they are being discontinued after this season
Cookie question: If you put dough into the freezer, does that count as "aging" or "curing?"
I put mine straight into the freezer overnight (have made the CC cookies twice now) and got the same results
An hour and a half ?? We’re being treated well 😌
Once you try linzers topped with chopped walnuts, you'll never go back. A wash of egg white, and sprinkle with or dip it in a mixture of chopped walnut and confectioner sugar (and vanilla if you have a dry form of it) Toasts in the oven and so delicious.
It would be a cool concept for a vid on how to bake them all at once! Like, pre batching, etc.
I’m so excited for you and your husband! Happy maternity leave! Delicious video!
Congratulations
Good to go hun
Hi Claire
Yes yes yes cookies
Claire and Sue’s meringue cookies not being on here is a CRIME
Burnt basque cheesecake. Please 🙏🏽
What if you’re not a fan of citrus flavor in desserts, but really love the lime squiggles. 😭
I unfortunately do not like orange, lemon, or lime desserts. Maybe vanilla?
☀️ 🍪Thank You 🙏 😋
✝️GOD BLESS YOU 🕊️
Where can I get your jumper (sweater)? 😍
(The one in the first recipe)
Claire, please do a colab with Andy Baraghani PLEASE!
Soon a little babe will be following Harris around! 👶
Nobody makes Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies. The perfect cookie and it's so often ignored.
Are all of these your favorite?
High altitude adjustments maybe? At 6500 ft NOTHING bakes correctly.

1:10:43 hello, gorgeous
cookies in the oven literally and figuratively 🍪
Who buys imitation vanilla and why?
I'm going to pass on this one, I'll catch the next video Claire.
Is this channel officially dead or what? Two weeks without episodes and now a compilation of past videos? Groundbreaking
She's on maternity leave...but please leave if that's not acceptable ✌️
