Chris Harms has a special sincerity about him that makes him so damned attractive and his music so infectious. Loving this.
His special sincerity is due to him having a healthy ego; he's a true creative artist in that while he wants to please his audience, he doesn't feel he has to sacrifice any of himself to do so...or pretend to be something he's not. He also doesn't mind sharing the spotlight and that is a rarity in music...and I know that from past personal experience.

He is such a sweet guy. Enough ego to be a great showman but he also knows when to reign it in.
I can't agree more, so very well put. The attractiveness of an artist performing his own music with sincerity, conviction and love, and without an artificial pose of someone focused on calculating their stage image. He's just being himself, immersed in his art, and it's disarming and mesmerizing. That's what art is about, and not all artists are like that, far from it.
After haven finally seen them just yesterday, I can wholeheartedly agree. Lord of the Lost gave a damn good concert with fun moments during and between the songs, making it one of the best eves at a concert I've been so far!

... just 2 and half day before the new Gothic meets Klassik Show with Lord of the Lost will happen at Gewandhaus Leipzig, I am sitting here, having another look at this awesome first concert in 2013. It took place long time before I took notice of this band. Sometimes I question myself if I should be angry with me ignoring this band in these first 14 years of its existence, thinking about the fact what I missed. But I decided not to think like this. Such things happen for a reason - maybe, in former years their music would not had meant so much to me it is doing today. So I am just totally happy having got a double ticket for this 2023 show at Haus Auensee on Friday and at Gewandhaus on Saturday. I feel thankfulness, especially because I will see both shows together with six very special and lovely persons I did not knew one year ago. Today they are such important to me, I cannot imagine spending my alldays and all great days without them. Love and thanks to this band - we did not just found great music because of you. We found great friends because of your music. Thank you for this, @LordOfTheLostOfficial.
Chris Harms is fantastic! Such a talented interesting fellow! Thank you Eurovision for bringing Chris and Lord of the Lost to the rest of the world! Just imagine if Chris had played his Cello at Eurovision- The orchestra could have been a video backdrop...I hope Lord of the lost returns and maybe with a classical edge to their next Eurovision entry!

man muss die Lieder nicht kennen um , wie magisch von dieser Stimmung mitgenommen zu werden. Chris ist der Erzähler der den Zuhörer mit der Stimme und Gefühle mitreisst. Man hört gebannt zu und hat Gänsehaut wieviel Gefühl im Gesang drin ist. Und man sieht selten einen Musiker der mit Orchester Cello Spielt ,singt und noch Duet dabei macht. Das schon eine Kunst
My sense of appreciation is simple. I see Lord of The Lost, I click. I love. I enjoy. I emote. I celebrate the existence of LOTL.
This is simply fascinating, my every hair stands on end. This is PURE ART, full of sincere passion for it and this combination creates sheer beauty. I might be late to discover LOTL, but I'm here to stay. Thanks to Eurovision for bringing my attention to such a talented band. Lots of love from Canada.

They're in the process, Ive been a fan for about 7 years lol. It's long overdue, they were on Out of line forever but with Napalm records promoting staff they should be fine... Kudos,.... Now... If we can just slip them into the US somehow 😉

There were times when I was so completely and entirely engrossed by this that I almost forgot that I was still sitting in front of a computer screen. It felt as though I was there.

Amazing, I stumbled onto you about a year past but this just cements my fandom. It ain't easy for someone in NZ to be exposed to such fantastic music, all hail the algorithm that made my listening to Ramstein suggest your music, I haven't looked back. Keep up the good work! Now we just need to figure out a way to get you to New Zealand for a concert ;)
What an incredibly unique concert experience! Honestly how many metal bands have translated their vision so beautifully into the classical genre medium? Even Metallica's S&M was an (excellent) hybrid performance, and not a full translation like this!

Mein erster Kontakt zu LotL kam über dieses Video. Ich musste es 3x sehen, bis es mich überzeugt hatte, aber seither geht nichts mehr ohne LotL! Jetzt schaue ich es nach Ewigkeiten mal wieder und ich bin aufs Neue überrascht, wie sehr diese Kompositionen mich auf eine emotionale Reise schicken. Da ich mich leider nur bedanken und Merch kaufen kann, um mein Dankeschön auszudrücken, tue ich genau das.

lol. i liked it. I just recently discovered LOTL and they are awesome. original vids and songs. they are refreshing in a world of screamer bands and fake country/pop/rap culture. I and many others have felt metal and classical should come together. Its much harder to play with others well, then to play by yourself.
This proves that Lord of the Lost are true musicians, not just a growly metal band.
That hard music that brings hope.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal auf dem Konzert von devr Band ohne sie davor zu kennen . Bin so begeistert was die Professionalität und der Einklang angeht in der Gruppe! Der Sänger ist für mich ein albsoluter Multitalent! Alles bis auf das kleinste Detail vorbereitet. Und er hat Feuer! Die Art mit seinem Vokal umzugehen, umzusachalten als ob es das einfachste auf der gAnzen Welt wäre!
