I've now watched 4 videos from different years. Getting really hooked on their style, stories, attention to detail, variety, musicianship and that outstanding vocal quality that is not squandered. This is superb. Thank goodness they were chosen to represent Germany in Eurovision this year or I would never, ever have listened to goth rock or whatever this genre is. Blood & Glitter stands alone and I can't believe I actually like it. Proof of talent in writing, performing, staging and most of all great vocals. Plus,the girl here had copied my dreds, so that's gotta be a plus 😊.
Lord of the Lost should be international superstars. Few bands around have the total package of musicality and theatricality the way they do. I cannot wait to see them live in the U.S. one day soon.

I think what most people misunderstand about Judas is that he did not ask for Jesus’ forgiveness. Jesus predicted the betrayal of both Judas and Peter. Judas was overcome by greif and took his own life, Peter confessed to Jesus, and repented. It is not as if Judas’ betrayal was unforgivable. That being said, I live that LOTL explores the dichotomy of man, the struggle of not only doing but also discerning what is right and wrong. St Paul says “what I will, I do not, and what I will not, I do.” This struggle really captivates my imagination. Looking forward to the new album!
I found my first favorite heavy metal band - Lord of the lost! Thanks to Eurovision I discovered them! That deep and captivating voice! And I thought I can't listen to heavy metal genre. No, I just needed these talents. I wish they had worthier placement in Eurovision. Screaming flat Lithuania was in top 10 and this last? Where are the people's ears?

I can't wait. Thornstar was an amazing album. It literally helped me. My GF passed away due to Opiod addiction and it destroyed everything. But one solace I had that I could escape to was that album. It had just released and Morgana became a very personal song for me because my GF was really into dark things and the music and feel really matched her. I still cry when ever I hear that song. But it helps remind me of the better memories we had.

I really don't understand what just happened. I really don't understand that you got so few votes. I think they have to stop with jury votes. A lot of times a jury gives 12 points to their neighbourcountry. That's so obvious.
Sometimes if there are too few votes from country, they use alternative way. (like jury). For example Estonia vote costs 1,7 €. So probably not so many voters, so they might not use these... Which sucks, but whole eurovision is big business, and weird system. I did bot think they will win, but getting such a low place is also weird. Anyway, great band, and I'm glad they took part of the show, otherwise I would not had found them. :)

Only #1-10 in each country gets a point, so if someone scored #11 in each country and also by the juries - they would still get ZERO points, while some who scores last in every country and 10th in one country, is higher ranked. THAT'S the problem there.
Also echt, das ist unglaublich gut. Ich habe mir jetzt "the death of all colours" und "priest" mal nahtlos hintereinander angehört und schon das allein ist ein kleines meisterwerk. So eindringlich, ich will mir sofort n kreuz auf die stirn malen. Für mich ist es ein schöner zufall, dass ich euch vor ziemlich genau 2 jahren durch "island" entdeckt habe. Jetzt direkt dabei zu sein wenn ein neues album auf dem weg ist, ist echt ziemlich aufregend. Ich freue mich sehr auf das was da noch kommt.

The composition of this ballad is exquisite with perfectly matched harmonies and a musicality and a message that are deeply profound. I could feel the anguish of the misunderstood Judas, and the message he shared with us literally turns the myth of Christianity on it's head. LOTR is wholly unique in their world view and message. The time spent in the studio, and the work those engineers put into this song is mind-blowing. All the different layers of sounds and harmonies... perfection. I think what most people misunderstand about Judas is that he did not ask for Jesus’ forgiveness. Jesus predicted the betrayal of both Judas and Peter. Judas was overcome by greif and took his own life, Peter confessed to Jesus, and repented. It is not as if Judas’ betrayal was unforgivable.
That being said, I live that LOTL explores the dichotomy of man, the struggle of not only doing but also discerning what is right and wrong. St Paul says “what I will, I do not, and what I will not, I do.” This struggle really captivates my imagination. Looking forward to the new album!

I found my first favorite heavy metal band - Lord of the lost! Thanks to Eurovision I discovered them! That deep and captivating voice! And I thought I can't listen to heavy metal genre. No, I just needed these talents. I wish they had worthier placement in Eurovision. Screaming flat Lithuania was in top 10 and this last? Where are the people's ears?

I agree with one of the commenters below...That Lord Of The Lost has the "Total Package"""meaning that they do a fantastic job being in their own videos...great theatrics, on top of being THE BEST musicians on EARTH...AND writing their OWN songs ( lyrics ) they can do it ALL...and as the commenter said below..they are International Superstars....
I can't wait. Thornstar was an amazing album. It literally helped me. My GF passed away due to Opiod addiction and it destroyed everything. But one solace I had that I could escape to was that album. It had just released and Morgana became a very personal song for me because my GF was really into dark things and the music and feel really matched her. I still cry when ever I hear that song. But it helps remind me of the better memories we had.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I kinda feel the same way about Thornstar, it helped me cope with the anxiety that comes after losing a loved one.

I really don't understand what just happened. I really don't understand that you got so few votes. I think they have to stop with jury votes. A lot of times a jury gives 12 points to their neighbourcountry. That's so obvious.
They might not have gotten a lot of votes, but they were the first band I had the need to look up more songs from!
What happened? Well, they made a song that sucked. Which is crazy, because that is not what they normally do. 😂

Sometimes if there are too few votes from country, they use alternative way. (like jury). For example Estonia vote costs 1,7 €. So probably not so many voters, so they might not use these...
Which sucks, but whole eurovision is big business, and weird system.
I did bot think they will win, but getting such a low place is also weird.
Anyway, great band, and I'm glad they took part of the show, otherwise I would not had found them. :)
@uniparemassilmas it's the strange voting system. Only #1-10 in each country gets a point, so if someone scored #11 in each country and also by the juries - they would still get ZERO points, while some who scores last in every country and 10th in one country, is higher ranked. THAT'S the problem there.

So eindringlich, ich will mir sofort n kreuz auf die stirn malen. Für mich ist es ein schöner zufall, dass ich euch vor ziemlich genau 2 jahren durch "island" entdeckt habe. Jetzt direkt dabei zu sein wenn ein neues album auf dem weg ist, ist echt ziemlich aufregend. Ich freue mich sehr auf das was da noch kommt.

The composition of this ballad is exquisite with perfectly matched harmonies and a musicality and a message that are deeply profound. I could feel the anguish of the misunderstood Judas, and the message he shared with us literally turns the myth of Christianity on it's head.
LOTR is wholly unique in their world view and message. The time spent in the studio, and the work those engineers put into this song is mind-blowing. All the different layers of sounds and harmonies... perfection.
Not sure if LOTL every tours in North America, but if they do, we will definitely be at their show. Y'all going to W.O.A.in 2023, I'm uber jellous 🖤
