AEW should give creative control to some wrestlers like will osprey, Jay white and Matt and Nick Jackson because those guys have come up with some great storylines with a big match in the end
Even if any wrestler ever gets full 100 percent creative control, I'm sure someone still has to approve it somewhere down the line before it goes live. There may be few exceptions like The Rock who they just give a mic and time allowance and say do whatever you want.
TNA just had Dempsey and Izzi Dame show up Friday night and this continues to be exciting.
That is a selling point for female free agent talent possibly looking to come to AEW, you actually having say in your creative. At WWE, you either like it or hit the bricks. In the recent interviews Mercedes has done, she has said all good things about AEW, so that helps the overall image of the company and the way free agent talent can view AEW.
After everything that killed WCW it started with the talent who had creative control and No wrestlers should have that much control. Other talent especially the women's division are gonna hate her and be upset with AEW and TK for allowing this.
when i was a government contractor back in the day, sometimes i had to do extra tasks to justify my salary when there wasn't a lot of work for me to do. i liken this to Meiko's situation. she's under contract and she's over there, so why not giver her something to do? they're still paying her after all.

She has not been there long enough to have creative control. Vignettes of training is not enough to have been given that kind of control she is not above all the female athletes that are wrestling there day after day..

The people that comment on here, yourself included, like to compare AEW to WCW.
WCW existed between 1988 and 2001. What percentage of the people that watch your videos were actually alive and/or old enough to REALLY remember watching WCW as it was shown on the superstation? I am guessing the majority of them were not and are relying on videos and what others wrote about WCW when they make their comparison. To me that’s like someone comparing the Vietnam war or the moon landing or some other event to something else when they weren’t even alive when the original event occurred.
All they know is what they have been told , or read, or see on video.

I agree with Osprey and look, I’m just tired of these Melzer marks complaining about AEW’s poor ratings last week. Yes, it’s bad but you gotta be honest with yourself why Dynamite and Collision was putting on good shows. It’s going to take some time to bounce back and yes, I’m still a TK mark, but Daniels needs to stop going to the entrance way and give the fans what they want, not announcing them with his annoying suit and tie. Borderline stupid.
I agree Osprey could be a voice for AEW but he’s to hung on his Ego. You can’t blame him as he knows and the fans know he’s very talented. I think if he can ease up a bit then maybe there’s as chance for him to be a voice for AEW. However, Osprey’s problem is his ego. He needs to learn when to speaks and when to hold his tongue. Not everything needs a response. Criticism is one thing. But when you respond to criticism is another thing. Especially if it’s not directed towards you. Don’t find yourself apologizing for something you misunderstood. Don’t be caught up on BS the wrestle community is trying to spew. Maybe it was probably constructive criticism in general and not directed towards anyone in particular. Here’s an example, Osprey mentioned WWE low ratings a few (4 to 5) years ago. Those WWE ratings were probably low during the Plandemic. My guess is your guess. Osprey should Focus on the Now not the Then. He needs to Stop trying to justify AEW low ratings and move on. Sad that people have the opportunity to watch what happens on the indies or what’s happening in Japan, but won’t spend the $10/month to see it . A huge problem with AEW is most of the talent don't respect the legends who came before them and we've heard free several veterans about this from Copeland to William Regal who truly wanted to help the locker rooms. AEW needs those locker veterans that have the respect of the roster and have a huge voice but we've heard Jericho tease this a little but again he's about himself and until AEW gets a little strict with talent and not allow them to do whatever.

There’s a difference between transparent & delusional. What is a rebuild? Money has been thrown at all times during AEW’s operation. The company started at a high & has reversed for the past 5 years. Dynamite is about to surpass Nitro in terms lifespan on TV. No one ever said about WCW “They need time to grow”. The excuses are comical because this company, at its infancy, had better ratings & mindshare. They haven’t lost a massive amount of talent, so what we really should be saying is that they have the wrong people heading the company. AEW doesn’t know what it wants to be. It wants to try to be NJPW, but that wouldn’t cater to a big American audience. Then they try to mix in some WWE style entertainment, but they can’t do what WWE does so now you have a supposedly alternative brand, that was suppose to give you something different, that just seems messy & lost. Vince leaving, Triple H taking over, Cody leaving, Punk leaving & Big Bang Theory all have had major impact on AEW for better or for worst.
Here is thought if you care about and enjoy AEW, then you should care about ratings. Think about it, bad ratings, no TV deal, no TV deal, no AEW.
