I have a Umarex Beretta 92 A1 and these things work brilliantly in it. As you say perfect for plinking and much better for a bit of target shooting in the Garage, no ricochet. I tried Dust devils before these but they simply don't work in a stack mag due to the spring, they just fracture and break. These plastic blasters work perfectly and with a metal back target they disintegrate on impact on short range, perfect for the indoor range.
They are a bit larger in diameter than steel BB's (measured it) They fit and shoot perfectly in 4,5mm diabolo rifled-barrel airguns. I also noticed that they shoot the same groupings at 6-7 meters indoors ( tested with buckmark breakbarrel - awesome and accurate gun for the price). Besides this they won't shoot in every BB-Gun. In my Colt CQBP (probably all KWC 1911's) they do not function. They will feed but then stuck at the rubber thing (hop/spin-up?) which holds the bb in place in the barrel before shooting. The won't pass this thing when firing.
The work fine in my Gamo AF10 SSP air pistol which is designed to shoot small lead balls or 4.5mm pellets. They can be loaded into the tube magazine just like the lead balls.
Great video, thanks, I didn't even know these kind of bbs existed! I wonder if one could even use them in airsoft games under certain circumstances....
+ReplicaReviews of course that's why I wrote under certain circumstances like using it in sniper rifles on long distances. Maybe the smaller projectiles have better ballistic properties, more streamlined, less sensitive to wind, etc...
I bought some hoping to use in my Remington 1911 BB but they won't fit in the mag and are in fact too large to fit in the barrel. Probably only suitable for guns designed for both pellets and BB's.
So I have a *Sig Sauer Mpx* , belt mag, and wanna get this for airsoft. My only real concern is then feeding and not breaking in the chamber, running too hot can be delt with by an adjustable adapter and switching gas type. Do these shatter on impact and where can I get them? (Btw 150-400fps has been fine in any airsoft I've played, my co2 running at 550 is only high powered at that point I doubt plastic will Mame without any protection, be responsible.
Ik I’m late to the video but is the gun you are using made to shoot copperhead bbs or regular plastic bbs? I want to know if I could buy a air gun that shoots 4.5mm copperhead bbs but replace the copper bbs with plastic bbs with the same diameter
I wanted to do air soft but I don't have an air soft gun. I do however have a CO2 metal .177 blowback pistol that shoots steel BBs. I wanted to know know if I could find .177 (4.5mm) plastics that could fit in my pistol (it's the Colt M45 CQBP)
it will still have a much to high fps. if you turned up at any airsoft site thats worth going to they'd throw anyone off who turned up with a 4.5mm air pistol... it would be nothing short of dangerous
ReplicaReviews I went to the sportsman which is where I bought it and it says it is a licensed air soft product and it is allowed at the place I wanted to do airsoft
You local club isn't to keen on the BBs? Mine were the same, and after I tried them they weren't bother, and if I used the Lead BBs there's no worries. Why are they against lead ? And nice review! I might pick these up.
+kylethedalek its to do with ricochets. they are a bit old fashioned and we've only recently been able to take 6mm plastic bb's up! little steps but we're working on it. my last club were fine, could fire what i want at what i wanted, here they are a bit more set in their ways. at the end of they day their club their rules, but if i can show them all types of airguns can be safe i will! james
I bought these bbs and shot them through my dpms SBR with a suppressor and at first they came out in pieces but for some reason they shot out normally. Not sure if maybe they were hitting the side of the suppressor or what
You would definitely have to check with your field first. Theoretically, if the gun is shooting at or below the FPS limit (which for most fields is 400), and the bbs are plastic, it should be okay. Years ago 8mm used to be a fairly popular airsoft bb size, so it's not like airsoft is restricted to 6mm.
so can I use these plastic airsoft .177 with my red ryder for an airsoft match? I imagine these plactic bbs can get more speed than steel bbs since they are a lot lighter
Most fields have an fps limit of 400. You would have to check with the owners of the field you specifically play at. When I first started airsoft, 8mm bbs were used in some gas rifles (my first airsoft gun was actually 8mm). So using a caliber other than 6mm is not unheard of, but you definitely need to check with the field owners.
4.5mm bb's are in no way suitable for airsoft use... they're still firing at higher velocities and shooting them at anyone would be dangerous and irresponsible...

These work great in a Crosman 1377 pump-up pistol. I put a tiny dab of silicon grease on the tip of the bolt to hold the bb in place. Very accurate.
Where can you get them?

+hunwarrior they will be way to inaccurate for sniping
no they will be smaller there for more aerodynamic and from a red ryder bb gun I bet you can get more speed than from steel bbs

Does the Plastic 4.5mm bb work with Crosman marlin cowboy lever rifle?
And if yes, is it OK for use in airsoft games (it's 300fps)

I have the Glock 19x bb gun and just bought these to try in it.there is another video on youtube and he used them with no issues.

Air Venturi Dust Devils is the game changer for BB guns!!!!!
i'm yet to get my hands on those.... will have a look for some! james
Would these work in a Crosman DPMS? And if so could I bring it to an airsoft field

They have copper plated bbs that flatten on impact their made by air venturi
will these rounds be better than metal since shot faster or no?
fps in the full blowblack glock?
since they are plastic of course, only thing you might have to do is adjust the hop up so they fly right

is it the same with .177? Can I use it on my air pistol?
