Definitely agree that WWE kind of shot themselves in the foot by giving the KOTR winners title matches at Summerslam! On our episode "fixing" the King Of The Ring, I also talked about more of the actual tournament being on the PLE. Just winning multiple matches could have made the crown prestigious, without the title opportunity.
