You can just imagine Punk going into AEW with a teacher mindset and being met with, "no we got this old man, We've been at this for 2 years and we've been in front of literally hundreds of people." So glad he got back to WWE, that HIAC match was one of the most professionally executed pieces of work I've ever seen.
This is 100% truth, he didn't hide it, he wanted to teach and the fact the indie darling had their head so far up their own arses they refused advice from a guy who has reached the top of WWE goes to show why AEW is struggling.

Punk vs Drew HIAC match is a case study for the current or newer talent of this generation. A combination of storytelling, match quality, physicallity and violence.
This was the first CM Punk interview I’ve seen where he looked like he was having fun. A lot of these interview end up being about the fallout with AEW and other drama. But it was really refreshing just to see h get to nerd out about wrestling.
The continuous relief you see with Punk knowing he can mention a lot without VKM bitching in his ear is very relaxing, and great for overall morale on all the talent.
Legitimately one of the best matches I've seen in years. It's not the first time this modern WWE has moved back toward high caliber ring work, but it may be the best.

It was cool to see the legends at Badd Blood and hearing that WWE makes efforts to teach developmental talents about the history of the business. Punk can be a great bridge between that era and the track star at the PC he was talking about

The cena match was in dallas actually at american airlines and i was there and to this day that is the best wrestling match ive ever seen in person live at the arena.
