  • Welcome back! Today I made for you flan de queso or cheese custard. Very simple and easy to make and it's very yummy!
    Here are the ingredients:
    5 large eggs
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 can condensed milk( I used fat free)
    1 8 oz block of cream cheese
    Pinch of salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup sugar for the caramel.

    You can mix it in a blender then strain it. Just a suggestion! Looks yummy!

    Have you tried whipped cream cheese instead? For me the form and overall look of my flan is alot better when I use philidelphia whipped cream cheese instead.

      Yes I run a knife around it to loosen it then let it cool

    If you only have the hand mixer can you still make this? And also can you use diposable pans to cook them in instead of the glass ones? Im new to baking so I dont have all the good equipments :/ Also I looooove your channel.

      Yes you can use a hand mixer. And you can use a 9 inch disposable pan

    What size receptacle do you use??? Can I use a metal cake pan or glass or metal pie dish???

      Enid Gonzalez I used a 2 quart glass baking dish. I think a pie plate would be too shallow for the amount of flan.

    Do I need a specific molde to make it? I've always wanted to make my own flan especially flan de queso. I love it but don't think I have the right molde...

      No. . The hard caramel and the water bath prevents it from burning.

    I have seen so many flan videos...an your is by far the best!! I love that you are aware of not allowing vibnls so u changed the wisking piece. Also I loved how you strained it.
