My mother grew up in the park (Caroline VonHessert Hodge) and I spent time there with my grand parents when I was very young. My mother loves to tell stories about exploring the park with her friends. Such a beautiful place, like a fairy tale.
Always been curious of this place. So happy I found your content and wow it seems like such a lovely place to be. I always knew it was old but nothing could have prepared me for all this😂.
I once looked at a house in Llewellyn Park about 10 years ago. The place was so beautiful and I wondered about its history but couldn't find a lot of information on the park. This video is great I couldn't stop watching it.
Only the most important people may be buried in their back yard. For a while, Edison was in a mausoleum in Rosedale Cemetery in Orange before being moved to his home.
love the gatekeeper turkeys who take their duties very seriously...I've always wondered if I became wealthy what location would become my "dream"...and I think now I can say that if I had the means...I would move to Llewellyn Park immediately...even if it is in NJ. Thank you for this lovely video.
@@rockcityfilms tho are religions not ethnicities.but back then black people didn’t have luxury to experience living here.but I want to here more stories about here seems like something out of a story book

It's nice to learn about what is behind the house I grew up in. Thanks. I would like to learn more

I’m so mad that black people couldnt experience this back then. Because of how white people treated them .I would to live in a place like this
Plenty of black families here now, Muslim and Hindu too
