I’m in love with series !!!! Now we have pretty much agreed on every princess so far….. but I’m sorry the tenth anniversary Elsa is perfect ! Her corset top in the movie doesn’t actually have a gradient of ice crystals down to the skirt, it is in fact a hard bottom corset, I think I’m also just repping this hard for that doll coz that 2 pack is my holy grail doll lol

You were correct about Anna having the white streak as a child, and it worsened when Elsa struck her again. I definitely think those earlier dolls were missing it from what the photos presented! I was really curious to hear your opinion on these particular dolls. Glad someone else enjoys the Brittney dolls; they are so pretty!

Elsa wears the purple dress for a second long scene in Do You Want to Build a Snowman. She asks the king “do you have to go?” And she’s wearing that dress. Weird choice for a doll but I guess she didn’t have many outfits in the first movie.

Anna should have had the white in her hair. You were completely correct that she gets it when they are kids, then Elsa accidentally freezes her heart and she freezes completely and then it goes away. By all of the shorts and second movie it should be gone.

@FaeryTaleDolls you were 100% right. That's a HUGE plot point in the first movie. Enormous.

I was tearing up the dance floor at a wedding last night, but that won't stop me from yapping lol
-I feel like that first Coronation Elsa dress would look better with a fabric that mimics a felt or velvet type material. They live in northern Europe, so not only would it be more accurate and practical, but the texture would help it look less plain too. It would complicate those rhinestones on the bottom of the skirt, but they could always opt for a fully embroidered design instead.
-Huh, I don't recognize that purple dress either. I never saw Frozen 2 though. She kinda looks like on of those strict governesses in period pieces lol
-Wow, that Frozen Fever dress is EATING!!!! Good for her. 10/10 (edit: lmao I typed this before hearing your opinion. Listen, I just like fairycore, ok? 🤣)
-Yeaaa, that Elsa that comes with Hans has too thick a fabric. Basically the same as the other snow queen looks, but that cape situation is too bulky so it doesn't work as well
-Wow, I've never seen that Olaf's Adventure dress either, but she's gorgeous!!!! I'm surprised that I like the velvet on her snow queen silhouette, but she looks amazing! Love the designs around the bottom of the dress, and the fur around her collar looks great too! Overall, she looks like a queen (literally, in this case). 10/10 winter outfit, would absolutely love to see this incorporated into a holiday doll design some day, and would wear it myself too.
-I think I'm too used to being disgusted by that very smooth fabric with other colors/designs printed on it from all the cheapie Barbies on the market recently, and it's making me feel sus about that purple Frozen 2 doll. But objectively, I see what you're saying. Maybe Barbie's recent trend towards higher quality will start to heal me lol
-YES bring Tony on to see the Frozen dolls!!!!!!! Maybe he could just click around the different designs as he chooses and share his thoughts on them or smth?
-Ew, yea those sequins on the wanderer outfit are a no go. The rest of that look, both in the movie and on the doll, looks so sleek and mature, so to randomly have sequins popping out in the middle feels like such the wrong vibe. Like she's secretly got a flapper dress on underneath that blazer coat situation or smth
-WOW!!!!! That collab dress is everything!!!!! I love how they incorporated design elements from several of her most iconic looks: the silhouette and bright blue from her snow queen look, the sweetheart neckline from her coronation look, and the purple diamonds from her Frozen 2 look. Very thoughtful, and it looks stunning! I love the way the blues and purples and greens play around with each other to create a kind of iridescent look. They're such bold colors, and yet they flow together so elegantly 100/10
-Ew, the next snow queen doll looks so slapped together and cheap. She reminds me of that one holiday Barbie from a couple years ago that people complained looked like she was wearing battle armor lol. The layers don't flow together well at all. Not just the bust to skirt issue, but the sleeves and cape under the bust as well. It all looks so chunky. And the rhinestones around her collar are offending me too. Maybe if the rest of the doll looked more elegant it would work, but the way that it is, it looks like someone just said, idk put a line of sequins there to make it ✨fancy✨and called it good. The snowflake and rhinestone pattern on the cape is good, but that's it.
-Why does the paneling Harrod's Anna's skirt look so uneven? Those two on the left (her right) are so close together. Ew.
-I believe the issue with Anna's pigtails in the questing look is an issue with the lighting. Too much backlight, me thinks
-Aw man, 2015 Anna doesn't do the look justice. This look is so elegant in the movie, but here it just looks awkward and bland. Her pigtails and skirt are resting weird and the colors look so boring, even though it's movie accurate. Unfortunately I think they had to get a little more creative with their interpretation here to make it look good. Maybe do a half-up style with little braids over her shoulder to reference the movie look, and, despite what I said earlier for the coronation Elsa dress, make the skirt a lighter, silkier fabric. Even though it's less practical, with this short of a skirt it would help it lay more naturally. And the green-ish brown color plus the texture makes it look kinda dirty.
-That brown dress from Frozen 2 looks great imo! Looks a little more mature than her outfits in the first movie, which makes sense timeline wise and is a great way to show her character growth. It's reminiscent of Elsa's purple and white dress from that movie too, which is cool. Overall, I'm very happy with this look and the way it was constructed. 10/10
-Love the hair on the Frozen 2 adventure look. I feel kinda meh about the outfit, but that might be just the lighting. It's just hard to see when it's all so dark like that, so it looks like a bulky blob to me lol
-WOW! I've never seen that Queen Anna look before and I love it. Gorgeous silhouette. I love the neckline and the navy blue slanted fabric on the top of the bust. I love the way her cape lays, it looks like flowing water. Very elegant. Overall, I love all the smooth, gentle drapery in this look. The dark blues and purples with peeks of light blue and gold make her look so mature and wise, but with that kindness and optimism still in tact. I also love that it takes some visual motifs from Elsa's looks, but also looks unique enough to make it distinctly Anna's look as well. She's all grown up now, and has grown closer to her sister just like she's always wanted, while at the same time having had to say goodbye to her and step into her role. Mature, elegant, gorgeous. 10/10.
-I'm less sold on the Anna collab doll than I was on the Elsa one. I wish her pompoms were earrings instead of a headband. To me personally, that's a little over the top. Nothing wrong with it though. I do like the shape of her skirt, though. It looks like a flower! It's a reinterpretation of the motifs on her skirt in the movie that keeps it very clearly referential while also taking it to a creative place that makes sense for her character. Associating her with flowers feels so right for her youthful, innocent personality and serves as a good juxtaposition to Elsa's winter motifs.
-Oooo, I love those little braids in the big braids!!!!!!! Galaxy brain!
I'm a little sad that we didn't get as many interpretive designs like we did with the other Disney heroines, but I suppose it makes sense considering that it's a much newer movie so they hype is more with the og content than, like, reinterpreting something to make it fresh and interesting again. Overall, still great dolls though!
And another guess that I'm positive is wrong but I'm gonna say it anyway....maybe a doll redesign for some of the dolls you didn't like but thought had potential?

What I hate about some of Elsa's earlier dolls is the purplish skin with YELLOW hair. I love her Frozen 2 dress but the quality is so bad

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really doesn't like Frozen. I don't like any of the movies or the characters.
That being said, I like the green dress!

One thing i don't like about Disney LE dolls is the way they do their eyelashes. They are way too big.
