Been a lot of game companies lately removing community managers who are too in favour of the community instead of the game. Seems their jobs isn’t to understand the community and instead is to make the community accept the community’s bad decisions.
Correct. I cut out a lot of things here / never went into the comments in related threads where people were spouting how this is politically motivated / a government takeover, and how this is a super duper HIPAA type violation etc. Cut out one entire thread as well
Revealing medical history is illegal in the US and in the EU I think. Airing this kind of internal dirty laundry would get all involved fired were Gaijin a competent company... The rest is... just kinda how Russians do things.
Afaik RU also has rules about it but being Russia they aren't as locked-tight as HIPAA so something like "this guy is seeing x type of doctor" isn't illegal or something, it has to be outright medical documents or w.e
Neither in the EU or the US, it's not illegal for you, as a third party who knows about medical info, to openly talk about it. Medical privacy laws only cover the patient and the care provider. It's completely legal ( although shitty) for your "friend" to go "That guy was hospitalized on X for Y at Z". The only issue would be posting the actual documents, but that depends on a lot of things like "Did the patient just give you them to keep" and "Did you sign an NDA" etc. Think about it, if that was the case, your mom saying "Oh X has a cold, he can't make it" would be illegal.
@@dragonproductions236Not really. A) The person who revealed the information was a supervisor acting in an employer role. B) The person who revealed the information had specific knowledge of their health record since they were involved in the other finding a provider and its safe to assume they did not approve of their PHI being gossiped about. Which means it would be illegal under HIPAA.
My best advice, stop playing the game until it improves and the community gets better. I haven't touched it since the summer of 2023. Up until that point I've played the game since 2017 (if my memory serves correct).
As someone listening to this video as a podcast, the abrupt ending caught me a little off guard. Will you consider having outros in future videos? Cheers 👍
I wasn't really sure what to put in as an outro and at the time I was low key rushing this out the door. I was considering adding my personal take / thoughts but decided against putting it right in the video (in honesty it would get more clicks by causing comments) as I just wanted to kind of present both sides neutrally despite my take. In cutting that out I kind of lacked an ending to go off and went "fuck it, prod."
reminder that these two individuals are linked into many game-spanning issues, it's going to affect everyone rather than anyone specific, if something bad happens.
I was originally planning on making HF content and still will today, but this situation kept developing. I chose not to push it to subscription feeds as I know most of my viewers are HF Players and don't care for gaijin office politics Note: This was a little rushed (I went ~4 hours from initiating prod to finished), so there are a few spots where things are said oddly, and a very distinct lack of visuals (Im aware this makes my speech hard to follow and I'm sorry) I should add a fact I accidentally left out which was Keofox was brought in to calm the RU forums during the review bomb, and has ties to the 3.0 wiki update (at least, announcing changes), so he was not in fact absent in previous years as claimed personally I think the idea that the two were slinging UA war stuff at each other doesnt seem to make much sense and that it's a misread of the situation by a 3rd party, that said the main sources against such are both colluding / not terribly honest as shown above so I require deeper information Interesting fact about the Creative Director showing up: His reddit account hasn't been used in years and has few posts. So he clearly was brought out of the woodwork for this.
OH NOES, ITS NOT LIKE THEY HAVE THE F104C IS AT 9.3, OR THE STRONGEST CAS SELECTION IN THE GAME AND BEST BVR PLANES, but noooooo go on about how the game is biased because the f4s tards won't stop trying to flare radar missiles, any argument that is "pro bias" can go the other way around, its the "im soo good at the game but all opponents that kill me are cheating!!!!" like no git gud and stop complaining on reddit, america should be nerfed, its powerful enough as it is, y'all are spoiled, worst case scenario its just a premium bias, both america and russia are popular nations, i don't agree with a lot of gaijin's decisions but y'all iterally have the fox 3 and f14 with enough aim54 missiles to literally wipe out 2 thirds of the enemy team in a small match, a top tier match is purely decided on if the enemy has atleast 1 f14

out of all this, we can at least agree redditors (the average poster, not refering the CM's) are bad with giving accurate info lol

I think its more of a shit company practice. Like any other, abusing its employees

I think it's about time to quit the game.
