I always starch my 10” precuts and trim them down to 9 1/2” since they are never cut evenly. I don’t buy pre cuts because I don’t like to cut. I buy them because I love the variety of prints within a line.

That is absolutely valid! Since you already trim them anyway, there's no reason not to starch! Starch away, my friend! 💕
