I think the 20k gold is worth a full stocked house and I like the fact that the dragonborn gets servants and and army to protect him and his house. His position of power is finally being recognized
I recommend looking at Sjel Blad Castle again. Specifically the new test/alpha version. Also what exactly is your upload schedule typically like?

I have this mod plus Blackthorn and they are both compatible with each other (Skyrim: Anniversary Addition; Xbox Series S). They are right next to each other so it feels like Heartwood is Blackthorn’s protective keep. I love it!

You missed a lot. There's a sunbathing and gazebo area on top of the Castle. There is a sauna in The grotto where everyone automatically takes their clothes off. There is a staff enchanter beside your desk in the master bedroom and there's a lot more to the desk as well. This is my go-to house
Really cool Showcase - about .5 on the Sjelblad scale in terms of size. Well done showcase - the Manor/Estate lends itself to a lot of different roleplays - also the "sorting" functions are at OCD levels and I mean that in the nicest possible way. 4.5/5 Dragon Bones to the mod author!
I use this place and really like it. You missed a nice pool area accessed by the ladder in the master bedroom.

Is it bad that I see the dead people and think, oh well, but really feel bad about the dog? High castle walls to keep you safe from the dragon? Really.....how did we get this castle again? I love that unique weapon storage. It needs plants inside to warm it up and I agree about the light but at least I can see. Being in the rift is a big plus because Honeyside in Riften is so Underwhelming. I would use it. Say Hi to your beautiful lady and I hope you are doing well. Hugs from Auntie!
Just downloaded "Legacy of the Dragonborn". You should play around with it. It is a collector's dream. Would make a perfect lets play if you wanted to do that.

Have you played Ellen ring yet I think they have mods for it now but I haven't seen any and I would love to see you talk about them if there's any out there.

I thought the placement of like the children beds, and followers beds was weird, and for such a big castle it was kinda small which is weird.
I love the rowboat. That's great. Not a fan of castles and keeps, more into farming and mining myself. I wish I could find a mod that changes the Hearthfire homes, they all seem so bland compared to some of the modded homes. Change up the colours and, as INIGO points out, could use more art on the walls 😁 great showcase. Love it when UA-camrs get distracted by the goodies on show 😉

Is there any mod to add a castle with a city that you can buy and be the jarl?
Is entrance to the home glitchy like skyfall? Most of the time trying to enter that home, it restarted the game.
I would make myself a mini y'all and hire all sorts of people on there to run the castle including guards and then any kind of bounties that require in person that I play that

It's nice, but it modifies the same cell as Blackthorn and I like that town too much to not build.
Wait really? I chose this castle specifically it’s close to Blackthorn. Do the two collide?
