Well more like several days as a psychotic man sprints for 15 seconds then stands perfectly still for an hour in between assaulting guards and getting thrown in jail
In all seriousness though, was Alduin being shot forward in time instantaneous and he arrived at Helgen first thing, or was there a delay of something? I never understood that.
@@Daveaintreal For Alduin it was basically instantaneous, because that's how time travel works: he was yeeted from A to B through a hole. It didn't change the location he arrived in: he came from High Hrothgar, which was were he was originally "trapped" - we see him come from that general direction during the cutscene. For the people in Skyrim, time went by as it would normally. So for the world it took however many years it took - so much so people started treating Dragons as a legend, the snow elves were eradicated, the dwarves just disappeared, etc.
I like that you rolled up to high hrothgar right when they shouted dovahkiin. I bet you'd have scared the shit out of them when you walked in 1 second after haha
That courier in Dragonsreach is the ultimate mad lad. Everyone in Skyrim running away at the mere thought of a dragon existing, and that fucking guy just sprints towards the Dragonborn mere inches away from a living Dragon's snout. What a legend.
Really cool run! Fascinating that the Throat of the World sequence break and dialogue in a crafting menu aren't considered to be glitches in the ruleset, but considering it's Skyrim, a true glitchless run is downright impossible, eh? ;)
the glitchless rules are mainly based on precedent, the first really good glitchless runners were people like suptimal and knifechamber, so the rules they played by were the ones that stuck
very good job, GG, I thought it was funny that you used the bow with the Greybeards. but as I like to think, speedruners say "every second counts", well I just made it up, I have no idea what speedruners say or think, I imagine that in a real world conversation they end the conversation before you finish thinking about what you were going to answer.
Idk if you can use it, its more of a tech rather than glitch. If you have any spell in right hand (bound bow works) and a shield in left hand, you can cancel whirlwind sprint by bringing up shield. It works best with 3 word shout, but im sure the little bit of momentum would still help
*blinks* Can someone explain to me what the whole "going in and out of the apparel inventory" bit from 17:30 to 18:55 was about? What was the point of that exactly, and why was the carry weight jumping around like it was on crack?
How about doing a legendary glitchless main quest line run where you make yourself lvl 252, have lvl 100 in all skills, have all perks, and spells with console commands? You’d have to decide how you want to have your health, magicka, and stamina looking like as you’re lvl 252, but I think this could work as a category. Timer would start after you’re done applying the commands and able to move. It’d be like a pseudo ng+ run and I think it could be fun. If this run was sub 1:20, imagine how long a “ng+” run would be 👀. I’m already thinking how useful the respite perk would be with the grand healing spell, since it’ll restore your stamina for sprinting.

The official glitchless rules are on speedrun.com. I agree that some things are kinda glitchy, but the rules are determined more by precedent than anything else. No glitches speed run right
Hello, can somebody explain how did he get ingrediences at 16:55 in alchemy lab? At first he had different things, thank you,
I grabbed the Elves Ear while in Dragonsreach. Because I grabbed them recently, there was a menu bug, and they didn’t appear in the menu at first.
next try a glitchless no death speedrun on legendary survival, either way it should be a WR since no one had the balls for doing it yet.
