How do you go about getting it back into the car after, can’t get the golden end with the pin hole back onto the shifter part without it being in drive.
Hey sorry about the late reply, If you follow the shifter cable forward from the shifter assembly there will be a threaded rod that is connected to the cable itself. There is a brass or golden coloured clip with a tiny little pin in the middle. Just get a screw driver and pop that clip off and the cable will be free to remove!
