I grew up on the fried potatoes and onions, brown beans, cabbage, fat back and this made some great meals. Never be afraid to praise God, He does much for us. Let the name of the Lord be praised. I always enjoy the two of you.
Hey y'all. Yes , this was one of the first recipes I learned as a little girl. I peeled so many potatoes that I blessed all the elder women on our street and they loved them and were so surprised that my 8yr old self cooked them. Thanks for blessing us with these good memories. God bless.
My mama would make fried potatoes and onions, as well, when we were growing up! She also would make “hobo dinners” to stretch hamburger meat for feeding our family of five, especially if we didn’t have any bread or hamburger buns. Wow, great memories of my wonderful childhood. Thank you, ladies, for the sweet look back at some beautiful memories. ❤ Bless both of you ladies! 💕
Ladies you brought back memories for me today. As a child my mother used to make these. It was good. I wished I had been sitting across with you both today. Thank you ladies. God bless
My much younger friend is going for her Masters in Nursing. It was a goal of mine, too. She’s actually got me thinking I could do it! I’ll be 66 in April! ❤ Amen!
I am loving this channel with Sister Pam and Momma T. I wish my mother could have seen something like this. Good food and great fellowship. Keep keeping on. You ladies are such a blessing, Uncle Donny 🙏🏾❤️
Growing up, my parents had a café in Arkansas and they would cut up potatoes and onions off in the corner of the grill, while it was heating up for business. They said the aroma will bring customers in and it truly did. We stayed busy til close lol.
I love smothered potatoes and onions Liv in here in the South near New Orleans. We always put some kind of smoked sausage in there to bring out the flavor.
Fried potatoes and onions were a staple in my house growing up. I still make them from time to time. Meat was not always on our table We grew our food and Mama canned vegetables all summer. Thanks for the memories and putting God first before you and Pam start a recipe. You both are a blessing. Deborah. North Carolina 😊😊❤❤

The best good to yourself have brought me so much comfort because sometimes I feel like God is picking on me because I feel like what good am I doing here . I am a widow and live alone and feel like I am not needed here. Your prayers lift me up.
Growing up I wanted to be a teacher and nurse. But found out the hard way that I can't stand the sight of to much blood. Almost passed out 😢. I was a teacher for infants to teenagers. I remember my made potatoes and onions with gravy. It was so good. You sisters bring back so many memories that I had with my mom. Watching her cook and me asking questions 😢😊. God bless you sisters 🙏 ❤
Oooh I miss my mama. This is the one dish that we had quite often as a child that i still love to this day. I have a list of foods, not many, that i could eat every day and this one is high on that list. There was no certain time to have these and they were welcomed didn't matter the meal. And she would be creative with them to make it seems as though we were eating something different she would cut them in different shapes each time.
MaMa T please don't change a thong about your beautiful channel. Let the Lord's praises continually be in y'alls mouth What a blessing to us! My mom used to make fried potatoes for us when I was a child. They were so good too ❤❤❤
I'm one of 6 kids. Our Mom had dinner served every night at 5pm. We all sat and the table our Dad made... to stretch my Mom would make creamed Tuna on Toast! 🙈 I wish she fried potatoes😂
Mama T! I love your videos. Just a suggestion. Always remember to clean your camera lens before recording your videos to avoid that blurred look in the final video. I forget all the time and end up with blurry pictures. ❤❤
Good afternoon. We had fried potatoes, onions, and cut up hotdogs last night for supper. It is a Great Depression dish. They called it the poor man’s meal. It went a long way and potatoes was a regular staple back then. You slice the hotdogs in round circles. We had cornbread, fried zucchini and onions and pinto beans, it was delicious! I love it with spicy ketchup. You were talking about wanting to be a teacher well if you think about it you are. You share different dishes with everyone and different recipes. Teaching cooking ideas. That’s one of my favorite things to do to. Just some words of encouragement….keep it up! God bless y’all! ❤🙏
I always wanted to be a teacher or a nurse, I did take Health Occupations in high school and worked as a CNA during high school and some during college; working in a hospital and a nursing home. I did get a degree in Psychology and after graduating, I did work for awhile in Early Head Start and Migrant Head Start before working as a case manager for mental health. But, when my mom became sick, I was her caregiver for several years before she died. I did homeschool my daughter for a few years and now I take care of my granddaughter and get to help her with all her homework, etc.! I love home fries with onions. Yours looked so delicious. I like ranch on my fried potatoes. Jesus has sure been good to me and my family! I love and thank Him for taking care of me! May God bless you beautiful ladies each and every day! I love watching your videos! ❤❤ You both could learn a new hobby or a different language! I have been studying Spanish off and on for years. I now practice it on Duolingo daily. That app is good to use for learning a new language.
My family made fried potatoes all the time.
