In this video, the 2nd of a series of KO II tuts to be released, I cover the EP sample tool. This is the app used to communicate between the EP-133 and your desktop computer. I also go over editing capabilities using the audio waveform only available on the app.
Purpose: Teenage Engineering for whatever strange reason does not cover the sample tool in the guide. Only how to access it. What if someone is new to the device? They will need to know these things before getting started on the hardware.

it really is a shame that iOS does not support web midi. iPhone sample storage and screen plus KOII could be such a nice combo...
The 20 second sample will also take up a lot of memory. I like the way you managed your memory here it prompted me to make some adjustments. I wish I could rename the samples from the tool.
Mmmmmm!!!! That’s a good one, sample tool naming. Yeah, 20 sec will take up memory but my understanding is it’s 20 sec 999 times.
@@bassrobotics I tried already with an intro clip on one of my tracks and it filled it up. Some of the shorter samples take up more memory sometimes.

how do you get to this page? i cant even find the ep on my mac when its plugged in usb
Go to the link I posted in the description then plug in your EP. You will see the version number and your serial, then you know your connected.

cool thanks for this. Question: can you just drag a sample one one slot to another slot without downloading it, re-adding it, and deleting it from the original slot? Seems like I should be able to just drag a sample from slot 650 to slot 750 without downloading it, but i can't. THANK YOU~

And how can I export a full project from the KO to the computer?
Technically you can’t. You can only back up and restore. To export you have to dump to a DAW. Check out my video on that. 💯
Is there any easy way to move a sample to different slot?
if you have all the factory sounds in how much memory is left for your own samples?
Look at the top of the sample tool app. You'll see a little pie icon, it will tell you memory remaining.

IS there a way to upload stereo samples as mono?
I can’t confirm but I am almost sure it’s either or. You can’t do the stereo to mono set up unfortunately.
