to do the car test just plug your phone in and turn on camera app and turn video on, then hit play on the machine. get line in audio. sure you aint got any meters but works alright.

Why can't it change the color of the font used for the album, title, bpm, etc.? That way I can see the color of the tracks on my XDJ display AND have the tracks sorted by key, bpm, or whatever parameter I choose.

Ive done this with 5 cards to put in my pc and open them to copy update files across. Everytime and every sd card now says wroite protected when in my computer card reader. Im lost. This 404mk2 has destroyed all 6 sd cards.

When I sample from turntable sound is only coming through one ear in the headphones

i have a the ep1333 connected to a scarlett 2i2 a UGREEN 1/8 to 1/4 Stereo Cable 3.5mm TRS to 6.35mm Audio Cable and followed this exactly but i'm not getting any low end. so no bass, no kicks and everything else sounds super tinny. any suggestions? Update: This was because of the mono samples, got around it by panning all mono samples all the way to the left or right

What's the sense of stacking the same sample over and over instead of just changing the balance of the drum? .. is the same thing... you want more kick ? turn the kick up.... Am i missing something ?

Question: couldn't you just raise the volume of those tracks to get the same sound? I'm only asking because when you double an audio file with the same exact file, it only increases the volume by 3db-4db (sound dependent). The intended purpose of the 'simultaneous play' feature would be to layer a sound with a modified sound of the original or a completely different sound. With you method, it just gives a "clipping the converter" sound that can be achieved with raising the volume of those sounds. I could be wrong. Just wondering.

That's my go to technique for drums, going all the way back to Fruity Loops 3. I do it to this day on my Live 2 or on Logic. Usually I will layer, for example, two or three different snares and tweak them to work with each other to get a full bodied snare with its own sound but, at times, if the snare is already good on its own but needs punch, I'll layer two of the same snare to thicken it the same way you did. Good stuff with giving that tip because there are cats who hadn't thought of using that technique to fatten theor drums and this video would be of good use for them. I'll hit you with the like off the strength of you giving good advice.

KO2 is automatic sweet spot really 😂 I have some tips and features I’ve found by diving deep that I haven’t really seen anyone show yet. The looping feature is deep afff and combining the loop punch in with the randomized pitch can make crazy work with pitched drum hit/loop rolls

There was a question: why I should use Move when I can use Note I am not going to chime on all the other arguments and details. I just wanted to say sometimes pads, buttons and knobs are the only argument one needs. For example for me hardware unit always beats touch screen workflow. I know, you can use midi controller for pads, maybe you even could map some controlls to some knobs but still, you have to do this. For me the immediate workflow of something handson, ready to play out of the box, always will be more inspiring. Leaving other features out of this discussion would it be worth the price only for hardware? I do not know. But other features, fortunately, are there. And, like I said, my comment is not an other argument in the discussion about this particular video. I just wanted to share a thought that there are people who always will prefer handson device, even if it means buying a controller only for moving knobs and sliders in your DAW. I am one of those people for sure, I just think faster in such circumstances. :)
