Hey Guys! Excited to see this video drop! These wheels are sitting in my garage GLEAMING ready to be installed. The Q2 Rim coating is spectacular...I also picked up some Gyeon Wetcoat to keep them maintained from FAB.
Awesome fab loved 😍 the shine it's been awhile Brain I'm getting around for vehicles cleaning season hoping your family is well / healthy congratulations on your new job fab thanks for your knowledge on our detailing products have a awesome weekend god bless yea fab thanks
Man I love your videos. You're informative in depth and genuine. You don't make anybody feel inferior if they don't use the "name brand" but explain why some names are better because of your knowledge and experience. Thank you for all the work you do to teach us. Keep up the good work
Hi Brian. Great video. On a true rim specific ceramic coating like Gyeon Rim, the chemical that bonds the ceramic to the substrate(rim) is high heat specific. Most ceramic coatings are temp resistant to around 800f but rim coatings are resistant to around 1400f. That’s part of the reason why it’s harder to wipe/buff off. By the way, I use Gyeon Rim or Fireball Talon to coat my glass top on the stove and the glass on my wood stove. Makes cleaning extremely easy.
This is a great rim coating. I’ve coated two sets of wheels with it. It’s been very durable and the hydrophobics are nice. Super easy maintenance cleaning. I top it with Hydro2 lite to help maintain.
I was worried about the wheel weights not sticking...so got them balanced before I brought them over. I had the same concern! This is the best video on Q2 Rim so far! Thank you so much for such a meticulous job. I will have to detail the wheels before driving by your house from now on! The Mustang is driven about 4K-5K miles per year...I bet it lasts a looooong time.
Hopefully you didn't have a Tornado! Looks like you can do about 2 sets of wheels. How long is shelf life of open bottle? I just got a bottle of Gyeon Wet Coat. Anxious to try it. Gyeon is a very good company. I trust their products. Just a tiny bit pricey. Good video Brian.
bros and friends: do you not normally do the back of the spokes? i mean if youre OCD you might, but do most people? if i gotta do the back too its gonna be a pain.

Thanks for allowing me to do this Bob! They turned out great.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailingWait wait wait though. You had this man set of wheels for a year? 😂
Thanks for showing off the CycloShine. Hope you are enjoying it. Just launched the new and improved 3.0!
I love it Sam. Sorry it took so long but you make awesome stuff.
Great video man. I have my Q2 ready to go. I’m getting the Bob Ross vibe from you very soothing and calm.😂

@@mikehinson5935 Thank you! Man I used to love taking naps during Bob Ross’s paintings. 😂
@ haha me too!!!!😂
Incredible results. After applying a coating, wheel weights don’t stick to the barrels as well as the uncoated surface.
Thanks! I figured they would have a hard time after this.

Fantastic video. You do a phenomenal job of explaining and demonstrating the process and products.
Thank you!
Awesome video, very informative. Btw, wheel weights won’t stick to coated wheel. Always balance new set before coating.
Thank you! I figured they probably wouldn’t stick after that
Great video Brian👍👍 The wheels @ the end of the video outside had that sparkle from the sun gleaming off from them🌞😎😍
Thank you!

Awesome video, about to do the wheels on my corvette. I love that wheel stand did not ever see the link to it.
@@dannyrichardson1443 Thank you! Unfortunately he was a small company and went out of business. Other companies sell wheel stands like that one.

I’ve always been curious about wheel weights sticking afterwards. Yes they better be gleaming when you drive by. 😂
Wheels came out amazing!! Have to get some of this for the our vehicles. 👍🏆🇨🇦
Thank you!
Nice video Brian. Looks like another Gyeon product to pick up.
Thank you!
And nothing will stick to it now. Good job.
Yep that’s the goal. Thanks
Wow! Those things looked phenomenal when done! Can't wait to use rim. I got it on my shelf here. 🤜🤛 great video brother!
Good morning Eric
@@kimnewling5728 Morning Kim!!
Thanks brother!
Great job man they look amazing 👏. Like the review & the trick using the wax applicator. 👍
Thank you!
Another great video. May have to coat my wheels now
Thanks!
I use the finger pocket applicator for tight areas and rims, alot easier. Great video brother
That is a good idea. Thanks
Lot of work but man looks awesome 🤩 probably is going be my next project but I’m still working on the truck correction 👍🏾😎
Thanks and yes a lot of work.
Can you coat a polish face rims. Will the coating affect the original gloss ?
Half a bottle on 4 rims!?! 😱🤣 Your friend wont ware that down in a hurry...😅 Thanks for the vid
Yeah it’s been almost 2 years and he said they still bead water like the day I applied it. You are welcome

Once you open coatings they usually say 30 days shelf life. They make awesome products.
Hey Fab, this is Adner from Puerto Rico. Why didn’t use the cloth with the sponge?
I did on the barrels just not on the wheel faces.
As all ways, another great video, live stream tonight?
Thank you!
bros and friends: do you not normally do the back of the spokes? i mean if youre OCD you might, but do most people? if i gotta do the back too its gonna be a pain.
I do the back of the spokes but it’s not completely necessary as it they are usually raw aluminum not clear coated.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing thanks fab man.

What if you accidentally get it on the rubber
