- SCP-5514 is a Thaumiel Class anomaly also known as The Dragonslayer.
SCP-5514 is a massive humanoid mecha like vehicle constructed by the Foundation, with assistance from the Global Occult Coalition. SCP 5514 is currently being utilized as part of defenses against the current ongoing Large Scale Aggressors or LSAs, which could also be described more simply as Giant Monsters. Since the SCP5514 mech program was initiated, it has managed to successfully kill or otherwise incapacitate twelve LSAs.

@@raptorblarg2284 You misunderstood my comment. It wouldn't matter how many cuts the blade lands, Scp-682 would adapt to it. Even the SCP authors couldn't kill it. Something created by an SCP author wouldn't affect it.
@Var vlad Notice the phrasing: beat the shit out of. Yes, a powerful enemy could turn Scp-682 into a punching bag, but he is still immortal. You can't fully put down Scp-682. And even in the timeline in which you speak of, 682 did a considerable amount of damage to 001. Not a lot considering what he did to 096, but in retrospective, most entities can't even lay a finger on 001, much less harm it.
Because SCP 682 will become something like a slime, so it can be cut but cannot be stopped. Worse, it can copy that ability of the sword.

One of if not the only ultimate weapons the Foundation possess, but out of curiosity...What contingency plan is lined up if the pilot was put under the control of a scp who used the Dragonslayer against the Foundation or the pilot was killed during combat against a LSA? Also what would the foundation do if the Mecha was taken out of commission due to heavy damage?
Also wonder what they have in store for it in the future. Reality Cutter? Blackhole air mines? Small scale Nuclear Shiva Missiles?

Foundation doesn't have exclusive authority over this mech.
It would adapt. It ALWAYS adapts to everything. The lizard will take damage at first, eventually escalating to having its own solar energy attack, becoming immune to cold iron and everything else. This lizard has been known to simply become two smaller versions of itself when bisected and, of course, became laser-proof.
New rule: Dr. Bright is not allowed -to pilot- -to fight giant monsters with- -to repair- -to rebuild- -to copy blue prints on- -to modify- to be ANYWHERE near SCP 5514

As funny as that would be, it’ll actually be interesting to see that, as it could act as a secondary ranged weapon. It’s dumb, but with the technology used to make this, it’s not a bad idea.
