Fact they show Ghouls are extremely resistant to drugs, so Walt Goggin's character is doped to the eyeballs and so Lucy's Syringer doesn't do much to him, lol
You know a TV show is doing a good job when I only played Fallout once, and barely made it past opening the vault, and this show very much makes me want to do a full playthrough of the games.
Two years ago me and my friend snuck onto the set of the Super Duper Mart (in Staten Island) and even though it is in one shot of the trailer... it is truly incredible to see how the only thing CGI'd in that shot is the destroyed buildings, practical has always been better and really gives the world more life.
I played all Fallout games except 76 (Going all the way back to FO1, 2 and Tactics. Yes, my age is showing). I gotta say, this looks shockingly good. Good enough to alleviate much of my skepticism.
That Brotherhood soldier pulling up in power armor like Darth Vader was one of my favorite scenes. Power Armor is so busted in the games. I can't wait for the wasteland creatures to make an appearance, especially the Deathclaw. Very good trailer!
Don’t know if anyone else noticed the transmission glitch. It made it sound like “the world is gonna nuke you to build a better day after.” instead of need you.
From the looks of it, this game will go hand-in-hand with fallout one, they apparently take place in the same state and in the first game, something happens where a crater gets created and there’s a crater in this trailer
The delay (loading screen) between some shots :) and yeah I'm FO4 infested and was in the FO76 Beta but dropped it for 4 years until they brought the community suggestions (real persons) into it.
Finally a fan of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, rather than 4 and 76! I thought i was going crazy after watching all these reactions, needed this badly! TY for making my day! LOL It's bad enough that majority either didn't even play any of the Fallouts to even begin with even bad ones or openly admitted to playing yet disliking it, but to add an insult to my injury those few of the reactors, that did are mostly fans of the two worst ones in the entire series main series with only a handful of exceptions, literally! LOL And yes, many easter eggs indeed! If you break down the trailer frame by frame you will notice one of the signs, that reads - "Shady Sands" on it, which is basically the capital of the NCR, which was discovered and later led by the second president Tandi, who in turn was a "talking head" NPC in old isometric era fallout games from the 90s! Shady Sands has long history in Fallout lore and since you played New Vegas you could have run into certain NPCs mentioning it as well...
Between this and the new Magic: the Gathering card set, Fallout is really having a renaissance right now. This looks amazing, and I appreciate that they’ve still got more reveals in the tank (deathclaws, feral ghouls, the actual plot). Hopefully it has more staying power than Westworld did!🤞🏻🤞🏻
I hope it's as good as the TV adaptation of 'The Last of Us'. I had an xp with motion capture and gotta say Naughty Dog has always had an amazing team of cutscene writers and directors. HBO showrunners really did a justice to that game. Bethesda is also a veteran developer so fingers crossed. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evils :)
As someone that's brand new to the Fallout franchise and haven't played any Fallout games I'm still very hyped for this show it looks awesome and maybe I'll go back and play the games
@@MamasGeeky ok awesome ! and yeah I wish I had infinite time Lol , which do you recommend I try first Tessa the Borderland games or the Fallout games ?
@roderick8167 they are both amazing. Fallout is more open world than Borderlands but both are open world.... ummm. I say Fallout because the series is coming sooner than the Borderlands movie (and looks better lol)
The more I played 76, the more I enjoyed it. I preferred FO4, but 76 has its charms. Some allowances have to be made for it being an mmo. Anyway, the trailer looks great. Nolan nailed the FO vibe and aesthetic.
Just watched some dude react all critical and with "reservation," and I'm like bro did we watch the same trailer? Looks 🔥🔥 and that SONG from fallout 3s 1st trailer!!
Fo76 is a pretty good game, even when it launched. It has the best map of the series, excellent environmental story telling, an incredible tone (that was somewhat diminished with the wastelanders update), my favorite main narrative of the 3D Fallouts, a welcoming community, and a lot of QoL improvements over Fo4. While it certainly isn't perfect, it is far from being bad.
76 was absolutely, in no universe, a good game at launch. It was loaded with gamebreaking bugs, exploits, glitches, and predatory microtransactions and had zero content compared to now. It deserved all the hate it got (especially seeing how Bethesda treated their fans) and would not be nearly as passable as it is now without the backlash
@@SlimBeebo I agree that it was buggy, but I disagree with your other statements. Fo76 is a multiplayer game that gets free updates and content. It should not be beholden to the same monetization model as the singleplayer games. Having a subscription of about $10 for monthly in-game currency and subscriber perks is hardly a bad trade, especially when is not required or even needed. You could just pay the initial cost of the game and never spend another cent. That is what I did for the first two years of the game. The in-game currency could also be earned for free by playing. Fo76 also gave items away for free often. How can you say the game had zero content at launch? Most of the content that is in the game today was there at launch. There were plenty of quests, places to explore/lore, and activities to do. The game deserved backlash over its bugginess (it was clearly rushed to inflate the company's value for acquisition), but everything was so blown out of proportion that it became a caricature. So many people were uninformed or critiquing the game from the wrong perspective. Honestly a lot of the game was better earlier in its life in my opinion. The tone and atmosphere of the game was incredible and really hit thr mark for what Fallout is. Sadly BGS quickly responded to the backlash by rushing in adding content that conflicts with the tone. The game is still good, but I do miss the original map and I wish they stuck it out and leaned more towards the multiplayer experience and the desolate world.
It looks like the NCR and the Brotherhood have ramped up their war, and the NCR appears to be losing, which is interesting. The Brotherhood's newfound strength makes me think Elder Maxson took his chapter back west, and the NCR was caught completely flat-footed by the arrival of a Brotherhood force that is much larger and better equipped than the Brotherhood chapters they'd been kicking around for decades prior. This show takes place in 2296, 15 years after the events of New Vegas and nine years after Fallout 4. That's more than enough time for Elder Maxson to make the return trip to California, and the NCR was in bad shape after New Vegas, even if the Courier sided with them. New Vegas repeatedly drove home the message that the NCR had become arrogant bullies, so maybe we'll see the Brotherhood force-feed them some humble pie.
it has to be the east coast brotherhood coming west, the west coast brotherhood never had vertibirds or T-60 armor. and they were scattered and in hiding by the time of New Vegas having been mostly driven out of NCR territory. I think it was mister house who said, "all their fancy armor and weapons counted for very little when they were outnumbered 20 to 1.
I could not disagree with you more about saying it should be a weekly show. I hate when they make you wait from week to week only to get 30 minutes to an hour per episode. I would rather binge watch the whole season like one long movie. I you want to wait a week then wait another week and so on be my guest. But not me. I don't care about discussing every episode. I know you do because you need content for you videos.
Not fake hype at all. I LOVE this video game series and am thrilled to see it coming to the screen. This is one of my comfort series. I play it all the time. I feel like they really captured the spirit. Do you not think so?
Do you play Fallout? What was your favorite Easter Egg from the trailer?
I've only currently playing fallout 4❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So when I saw the girl wearing the eyepatch. My mind immediately began thinking of the experiments done on the residents of the Vault 88 DLC 😂
The Shady Sands sign is my favorite EE amongst a ton of great EEs. I'm so looking forward to this.
Fact they show Ghouls are extremely resistant to drugs, so Walt Goggin's character is doped to the eyeballs and so Lucy's Syringer doesn't do much to him, lol
Can't go wrong with my good ole T-60 Power Armor and the Yao Gui bear. Also currently playing over FO4 and DLCs
The NCR was in there too if you look close enough during a fight scene. Hoping Caesars Legion could show up too.
If they come out with a director's cut, they should call it the unofficial patch mod, lol.
Directors cut mod. 1.7 gigs needs jiggle physics mod to work
All of the Walten Goggins are Macho Man Randy Savage
They played the song, so I can die happy now.
Also the sign "Welcome to Shady Sands" Shady Sands was the birth Place of the New California Republic.
Walter Goulggins looks so good.

My favorite videogame series! I'm so hype!
The LATAM Trailer comes with a few different scenes. Check it out!
It's in new california 9 years after FO4 events that's all i wanted from the next fallout.
3:15 I saw a comment theory that the doctor's making himself a Super Mutant.
That Brotherhood soldier pulling up in power armor like Darth Vader was one of my favorite scenes. Power Armor is so busted in the games. I can't wait for the wasteland creatures to make an appearance, especially the Deathclaw. Very good trailer!
Yes to Deathclaw!!! I want to see Mirelurks too!
I hope the Deathclaw gets the Bloater treatment from The Last of Us show. It should be a "holy shit" moment.
You didnt mention that the voice on the medbot is the same voice as the President in Fallout 3.
Don’t know if anyone else noticed the transmission glitch. It made it sound like “the world is gonna nuke you to build a better day after.” instead of need you.
I was dying for a deathclaw reveal but oh well. As long as they put one in the show I’ll be happy. Looks incredible though
I’d much rather them do a big reveal during the show. Like TLOU with the bloater
@@shredgardo yeah I do too I’m just excited to see one
I hope Cooper Howard (Ghoul) will be as cool as Cad Bane from Star Wars. He (Cooper) is 200 years old so he may be very effective in bounty hunting
If there is no drinking irradiated toilet water scene, this show automatically fails.
LOL LOL
of picking a safe, losing lots of bobby pins just to find an empty bottle of Nuka Cola and a pencil inside LOL
3:10 thata not a gulper cause those are on the east coast. This is a mutated xolotl
I saw the New California Republic flag being carried when the guy standing on the Picnic table was shooting at the Paladin.
Damn, you really know your fallout nice!! I only played bits of fallout 3, 4 and 76. But this looks amazing!!

I wonder if mr handys va is same as the og in game 🙂
I wonder which design of the deathclaw they’ll use

If they start the series with a story, and then veer away from it to focus on random stuff, that would be very fallout.
LOL, gotta get that 100% completion too!
