I just love the fact Lucy is called "Little killer" because honestly, that's what we all become in any Fallout game, for one reason or another.
It looks real nice in the trailer, but I think it's just audio from another scene with him actually referring to the dog meat character.
I may be wrong, but isn’t lady killer a perk in the fallout games like I could’ve sworn I seen in fallout 4. I believe it was if you played as a male character you have increase damage towards female opponents and vice versa if you are a female character.
@@PacifyKy That is a definitely a perk. The female version is called "Black Widow".

@@j.f.fisher5318 Ella Purnell is also an actual Fallout fan too, so I wouldn't be surprised if she asked the creators if she can wield those weapons at some point on the show.
@@entertainmentfan1463 I don't remember her saying she was a fan, but she is the only one of the main cast that has actually played any of the games iirc.
@@TehIdiotOne I got some info mixed up as I thought Ella was a pre-existing Fallout fan before getting the role like Nolan and actors like Emily Rudd for One Piece and Jamie Lee Curtis for Borderlands. However found out she did research for the role, and became a fan afterwards. So technically still true, but it's more like the Jim Carrey route who played the Sonic games with his son after getting the role for the movie.
Also yes she's the only one of the main cast who at least finished the games. Kyle MacLachlan said he tried out the games, but was overwhelmed by it's size and scope and thought he was too old for this and stopped.

I see a lot of Fallout 3, New Vegas, and F4 fans out there, and they're all great, love those games myself. But it's rare to come across a Fallout 2 fan. That was my gateway drug to the Fallout universe... Subscribed 🙂
And then you get the crazy guys like me who really liked Fallout Tactics.
Fallout Tactics was fun, bro! It's been years... think I'll go install it now lol
@marts325 There's a mod as well (Fallout Tactics Redux) that adds some small stuff and does some bug fixing as well. It does up the difficulty a lot though.

The first PC I ever owned was second-hand gifted to me by a friend at work. It had Fallout 2 loaded. That was my intro to this universe so it was also my gateway chem!

First Mortal Kombat film from the 90's had the most rockin soundtrack.
Ironically i preffer the ones in the sequel more for the most part, except for Liu Kang vs. Reptile theme near the end! And yup, soundtrack is the only thing Annihilation was better at than the original...
The scene with little boy looking at the knight of Brotherhood of Steel gave me flashback to Mandalorian and how little Din was saved be a mandalorian from droids
As a FALLOUT 3 & NEW VEGAS freak, I am gonna invest my stocks this April on this epic TV show, together with CIVIL WAR movie. You know, just to have positive, optimistic vibes for the near future 8P

Loved Fallout since the first one. Very excited to see this. I know some adaptions don't work out but this looks great, and looks to hit all the main themes we want to see, so looking forward to it.
Oh and... You know you can get fallout models to paint as well right?
I just watched the entire first season of Fallout, expecting the Fallout tv show to be horrible. It ended up being amazing, it's almost like a horror movie.

It FEELS right, after almost 8000 hours in Fallout 4 alone I really hope they nail it.
While I am very much looking forward to Fallout show, the one I really can't wait to see is what henry cavill has going for his WH40 show.

I think you should play 4, even if it isn't as good as NV or the originals, because it's aesthetics more similar to does games specially for the BoS, like the Airship (It looks like the Prydewen, but it's call the Caswennan)
The Witcher is NOT based on a videogame. It is based on the same series of books that the games are.
Hollywood has never been great at game adaptations, but there are some good people behind this one. I guess you could say I'm cautiously optimistic.
Also Fallout 4 isn't too bad once you mod the living shit out of it.
I liked it before the mods, but damn, you are right on the mod statement, I can't go back to playing vanilla fallout 4 after experiencing the game with mods. And this is coming from someone who plays it on xbox being that XB1/Series X/S are the only consoles that allows mods with external assets. Same with Skyrim.
Hollywood no, but Netflix did great with Arcane, so here is hoping Amazon can do the same with Fallout.
Sim Settlements 2 turns it into almost a completely new game, it's great.

Hollywood's done a lot better recently (Sonic 1 and 2, Detective Pikachu, Last of Us, etc.)
They are hding finaly 3 & oblivion but i think new vegas desrves it so much more 3 was sparce with content if they add the mods into the ark & alton,illnoise 2 the disc then ill get 3hd

Hey hey. Theres a great fan made show on youtube called Nuka Break that really captures the Fallout vibe. It's really good! I doubt amazon can come anywhere near it, but I'd like to be pleasantly surprised of course

Halo is not that bad, the last couple of episodes are stepping up. Just took their time to develop.
I think it will be a decent series . Looks good so far from all I have seen . As for good adaptations , yeah , The Mortal Kombat movies ain't bad . Better than the Street fighter movie . Even the 90's movies were better . As for the Witcher , The series are more based on the books than the games .
How was it retconned in this show again (among many other things…)? The VaulTec started the war? I mean… it sure ain't the original lore but *Bethesda* is very good at destroying stuff.
DOOM is an amazing videogame adaption, faithful? maybe not.. but it is DOOM.. who cares
The original mario bro’s move in the 90’s was absolutely ridiculous it was rubbish just look at the gooba’s and king cooper 😂 it was definitely a low budget movie made by someone who didn’t play Mario as a kid and had absolutely no idea what they were doing and the actors only took the roll because they needed money and basically the movie should’ve been scrapped or rewritten properly but I don’t think it would’ve been because of the short timeframe they had. I watched it once wondered what I was watching and decided never to watch it again.
There is a lack of Fallout on this here channel.

You should play the real OG, Fallout 1 & 2. Even though totally different style of gameplay, they were amazing as well!
1 and 2, especially 2 are my most favorite Fallout games aside from New Vegas
@@ti8ick Ah amazing, my apologies! For some people the OG games is from Fallout 3 onwards XD. And I fully agree with you 😁. Have you tried The Outer Worlds? It's from the same creators of the OG series and New Vegas.
@@solidusfoxHaha it's ok! Fallout 1 was my first ever PC game so I basically grew up playing the series. Regarding OW I tried playing it for a day when it came out, but my PC couldn't run it well back then aaaannnnd I never went back to it. I should though, everyone is saying Obsidian did a great job on it and it's a must play for Fallout fans
@@ti8ick It's a fun game for sure. It's not as big as Bethesda's Fallout games, but what they offer is done well. Especially considering their studio is way smaller than Bethesda. Definitely worth picking up again! If you stream it, I'll watch it for sure haha. 😁

The problem for me is when the actors look like they are pampered 21st century Americans. It makes it feel like modern day and culture to me
I've played every Fallout/Wasteland game since the beginning, even BOS on PS2 except 76, that's hot garbage. This show looks good. We almost got a preview but we did a Numeris poll so we got disqualified. That's Okay. I can wait to see the TV show and I'll let you know what I think then. Bethesda needs to know who their real fans are. We're here and we're waiting. Give us something good, Todd.
I love the whole fallout universe (except fallout 76... 76 is a mistake) but this trailer gave me woke feminism vibes and you already know what that means... it means there will be 90 percent talk, 5 percent cool fallout shit 2 percent power armor and the rest (if we're lucky) different kinds of enemies besides humans. My hopes are down tbh. But i want it to be awesome don't get me wrong.

Of course they are dropping the whole thing at once. Otherwise they would lose viewership like crazy. They are banking on people bingewatching the whole thing and not quitting after one episode. It is going to be complete garbage that ignores 90% of the lore to "appeal to a wider audience". Just like every other garbage video game adaptation (with VERY few exceptions).

Someone's cranky, give it a shot before you judge.
There is actually no reason for the lore to be ignored, since the lore actually has plenty of rich story material for a TV show (material that puts games like Halo to utter shame). Also unlike Halo, the Fallout show runners do not have to worry about being tied to game characters (because every game had different characters).

It looks nice, and it sounds nice. But Amazon doesn't have the best track record with their shows. So I'll probably end up passing on this one.
