I like the fabric as well, it's bright, full of interesting patterns & fits in well with the bus, this may or may not be the original fabric on the seats. There's a high chance when Rover purchased these buses years ago from the defunct King Bros empire they did minor modifications on them and one of those minor modifications would've been replacing all the Fabric on seats. King Bros seats tend to go for a pinky / purple grey gradient colour all mixed together and I doubt they would've gone for the seating pattern that's on the seats currently. A good way to tell if a bus is an ex King Bros bus is to look at the inside of the interior, chances are if it has pink poles it's an ex King Bros bus, most operators who got their buses don't tend to fix up the pink, even after all these years. As for the bus, I love O405NH's and wouldn't pass a day riding on them, their a classic now days with them slowly hitting retirement age and being withdrawn or moved to charter / school services. I'm happy I was able to get a ride on these as now days they don't tend to appear on route service that often. Rarest would have to be Rovers O405NH Bustechs, think I've only seen them on service routes less than 10 times over the last couple of years. - CR228L.
Thanks. The pink poles are a symbol or rather calling card of the buses first owner the King Bros bus Empire, a very easy way to know if it's an EX KB bus is to look for the pink poles, most operators don't tend to paint over them even after all these years. I don't know the full story but what I do know is that they were in debt to a few companies (I think Toyota was one of them) & had a lot of legal issues to tend with. End result is as we know the bus company went ka-put with Busways picking up a majority of their fleet & operations. Of course what Busways didn't pick up went to other bus companies with Rover being one of them with all of their O405NH CB60 buses in their fleet. - CR228L.
This bus is nice,I must say.seat fabrics I like & the whole bus itself I like aswell.

Great Video! Interesting that it has pink poles. Also, looks like it been maintained quite well, considering it's age. :)
Thanks.
