I'd actually argue they did exactly that with the 212R. If you look at how they have the DRLs light up inside the headlight housing it frames the projectors as if they were a 4 headlight design.
@ I kind of see it, but that split design only applies to people who had the full adaptive led headlights option. I think that it would of look better if there was an actually bumper split in the headlight assembly like how they did with pre-facelift, to make it more modern while staying classy.

It's a good day when my favorite Estonian uploads a video.
Last car was meant to be a Rover? Looks a lot like an Opel Signum to me!
In my country, Toyota is still selling the 2013 generation of Corolla with multiple face-lifts. Same with Yaris, they are still selling the 2017 Toyota Yaris Sedan with an updated look.
1:50 But the mk4 Golf did in fact receive a facelift, commonly called Golf Mk4.5. They were pretty common here in south america
Or the mk7.5 golf
And canada
W212 pre facelift owner here, I love the prefacelift and facelift models. I wish that the facelift incorporated a “modern” interpretation of the 4 headlight design imo
You should totally talk about the Nissan GT-R, which is super old at this point and still receiving a 52th lift
52th? Don't you mean 52st? Or 52rd?
Another great case: the 2010 facelift for the Brazilian market Mitsubishi Pajero TR4, where they just slab the 2004 Mitsubishi Airtrek/Outlander headlights on it.
4:30 there's just a picture of molded weathered white bread on the screen with the thinnest relevance to the ongoing script bro why is this hilarious
Nah wth 😂😂
The 3rd gen (2007-2017) Lincoln Navigator had a bizarre face-lift in 2015. Completely changed the grill and switched the engine from a NA V8 to a twin turbo V6. Basically a different car at that point. I'm mad at Lincoln for abandoning the wingy grills. I think they're cool.
"Cars with Weird Facelifts"
(Shows completely normal looking subaru impreza facelifts)
its weird in the context of it receiving this many facelifts in such a short amount of time.
Tata hexa was one of the best suv in india in its price range with tons of features,relaibility,4x4,luxurious but unfortunately it is dicontinued in 2020 due to less demand
New Corsicar upload yeaaaahhh!
Corsicar is if a coffee table book was good.
For me, the pre facelift e350 face looked WAY better. I just liked the look of the headlights split in two rather than the whole unit in the newer one.
The Golf MK4 had a facelift sold in Brazil, Canada, Mexico...
The Escort shown was also sold as two different Volkswagens (Pointer and Logus)
Also not to forget the Volkswagen MK3.5 Cabriolet, which pretty much pulled the same thing as the Audi A4 B6/B7.
@@TadWohlrapp yeah, VW was very sneaky with this one
The 05 avalon should've been mentioned. I love that they had to refresh it twice from 2005 to 2011 because the world of car design was changing so fast
3:06 NOOO IT IS EVERYWHEREEEE
I really love your videos. I'm a test driver in germany and have seen nearly everything and I'm tired of most of the car content online and with the last Grand Tour Episode it felt like a big empty hole. - But you change that. It's humorous and spreads information. Even I can learn new things or remember long forgotten topics. Please keep it up that way.
9:20 That is one sick Audi design.
Glad to hear Tata Aria & Hexa form a from foreign enthusiast!
Fun fact the interior of Tata Hexa was designed by a team of Mercedes engineers
1:55 please Google VW Golf 4.5 Brazil and feast your eyes on the worst facelift a Golf has ever seen
Jesus Christ why?
Damn thats horrible
VW was guity of "facelift disguised as new generation" with the Mk 6 Golf, which was pretty much just a Mk 5½.
the last Rover you showed, just looked like Opel Signum Hatchback before facelift...
The Mercedes E-class is one of the best facelifts ever. From looking like old people's car, it transformed the E-class to look slick and traditional without giving old people vibes.
10:08 you should really be doing the thing with not saying 57th every video, it makes it more diffrent every video. No need to up the number every video. Sometimes you could even go down some numbers.
You should check what Hyundai Brazil did with the 12 year old HB20, simply bizarre
Wake up honey, corsicar just dropped
best car related channel
From a Hawk… Tuah saab… Really makes you think
mr90 mentioned. theyre really dirt cheap now in Indonesia alongside the wagon version called Vantrend. The coolest thing about it is that theyre the first car ever in Indonesia with EPS.
Mercedes Benz W212 facelift ❤ Amazing cars
3:06 "from a hawk tuah saab 🗣🗣🗣"
Your my favourite car related youtuber and love your content, Thank you for your videos
I have a pre-facelift C207 (coupe based off the W212) and I never thought it looked particularly old-fashioned, especially compared to the previous gen E-classes.
3:06 GET OUT OF MY HEAD
I LOVE HAWK TUAH 🥰🥰👍👍
3:24 basically the entirety of the iranian car industry
😭😭😭nooo i swear the samand is a brand new car its not a peugeot 405 with a new body 😢
"strange parts sharing" probably needs its own video
8:46 Pontiac Aztec!!??
6:35 you need to understand how bonkers the mr90 is. It was released in the 90s as a new car by Mazda's distributor in indonesia as a hatchback and an estate, when it was actually a facelifted 70s or 80s Mazda 323. Its not like we dont have the 323 here, we got like all of the generations even. Other than that, they also made options to have 929 pop up headlights grafted onto your 626. Heck, they even used the platform of the mr90 to make porsche replicas out of molds from porsche themselves (this is a story on its own, search for marvia porsche)
Eitherway, it sold well though :)
0:16 omg, u have no clue how close that hit to home xdddd
I think BMW could do with some emergency facelifts
