Thanks for the coffee break! I come from a Greek background, and coffee was always a huge thing in our house, from driving an hour to Philly back in the 70s to get bean coffee at the Italian Market, to learning how to properly brew Greek coffee to get the kaymak right. In my 20s I moved to Europe and opened a coffee shop, which is where - over coffee - I made deep friendships to last a lifetime. It's beautiful to see you guys taking the time to have coffee together. Enjoy!
Hammer time, coffee time, craftsmanship time - the three best times to hang out with Steve and his amazing creativity and skills. Another bag brought back from the dead.
@@katherinetait3539 not much it was overpriced anyways. It always amazes me how braindead people are willing to pay for name brand, I wouldn't pay a dime even if I had billions.
Yes,I keep my belongings in excellent condition, some people consider these bags too expensive,I consider them as a good investment because of the quality, durability.
Καλημέρα! I was literally watching the video since I received a warning that new stuff came up by you and as I was about to sip my coffee all of the sudden I hear a "καλημέρα" (good morning in Greek) and I was like whaaaaaattttt? I know that it was Greek what I heard. No wonder why Greeks and Armenians go together like glue. I grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece where the Armenian community was located in the downtown area and they were very nice people and hard working and became a thriving part of our city and eventually our country as well. I am glad that I found you and I really enjoy your work and precision and master craftsmanship. Keep it up brother.
Well I'm still here, late, but here! Its your chanel do what you like. I have been a fan since.?.. a long while now. The repairs you do, some totally amaze me. Your attention to detail is outstanding. It brings me joy. And the coffee making was so cool , if I lived closer , I'd bring beans.! 😆 as always there are the haters , no matter what you do. My dad used to say , you can please some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all of the time. Take care, keep up the good work.
Steve, another incredible restoration! Thanks for inviting us to join you and Chris for coffee. Can’t wait to see more magic happen. Love on Zeus for us.
I'm a teacher of English as a foreign language and I've been showing your videos to my greek speaking students for a while now... Imagine what happened in the auditorium when your coffee time friend said "Kalimera"... Goodmorning from Athens, Greece Steve!
Now this is how you do a sponsored video. UA-camrs take note. So genuine, I love it!! Amazing job on the Lv repair. I usually shy away from untreated vachetta but I just might reconsider after seeing this video.
Good Evening Steve, it has been a really hard day at work today. Just what needed to relax and unwind watching a master craftsman at work. And, a whole heck of a lot of joy. Thanks Steve.
YOU ARE AMAZING! What blessing to have such a gift!!! Keep it up and I enjoyed the coffee time too. I’m so glad I clicked on your video. I will have to watch a few more! The Speedy looks amazing!
hello Sir, it is an honor for me to come across your channel. I do also leatherwork in my home country South Africa. So far I only watched 6 of your videos and I learned so much. It is really a blessing to come across a person with whom I have a similar passion and work. May you prosper more and more with your work.
Excellent work sir. As always. I'd like to let you know that your videos have helped me through a tough time. Watching you work is really a breath of fresh air sir. Thank you.
OMG another outstanding repair. Great to see Chris and your coffe break. I live in the Bay area, so I'll have to check out Henry's coffee, when things get better. As always love watching your work!
The door is wide open for all those pretenders who think that this channel is a joke! Steve "hapendi ujinga" swahili for - doesnt like jokes. His work is top notch. We all have our history, and what we believe in. We should all embrace each ones culture and be tolerant to each other.
I love watching your videos. You are truly an artist and well worth the $. The quality, care, time and effort you put into every project is well worth it. I will definitely be doing business in the future.
Good morning sir! Hey I see ur Halo! What a man! Love ur videos sir. I was searching “You Tube”, and happened upon. Woman who teaches “Shoe Cobbler classes” in Chicago...I’m sure u just get the basics with her but as anything worthwhile in. Life ...u start young and apprentice for years before becoming what u are. A master at his craft!thank you Steve I appreciate all the hours you have showed us...I will be honored to have you work on my PRL leather Jacket....
Absolutely amazing Steve, so nice to see you having a coffee with your friend, our very best wishes to you all from Lockdown Reading England 🏴 xx❤️
You are the MASTER, Steve!!! Humbly, I offer that I had great success cleaning Louis Vuitton leather strap handles (for a tote) with a MAGIC ERASER (the fine grained white sponge that you dampen first). They turned out wonderful. My best to you, I love your channel! Let’s continue! ♥️
Hi Steve and Chris 🙋🏿♀️. those tiny cups of coffee would drive me nuts ‼️😃 I drink At least a pot of coffee in A day, every day ‼️😃 Steve The LV turned out just beautiful ❤️👍🏿. But then again I had no dought that you were The Man For the JOB ‼️👍🏿 have A blessed Awesome Amazing Beautiful day ‼️💜✝️🛐☮️💜
Steve, another awesome video & its such a joy to watch a true craftsmen. I watch more than a couple cobbler/leatherworkers on YT and truly enjoy them all but don't think any of them can hold a candle up against your skills, also its nice to see Chris during coffee time!
Hi Steve, we missed you this weekend but you've definitely made up for it with a bag-video.... I just love a bag-video 😁 great to share a coffee with you and Chris. Much love and respect from the UK 😀👍
You're awesome, as usual! I look forward to your videos and hearing "Let's Continue" absolutely makes my day/evening/whenever! Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge and process! Side note: I'm a photographer with hands that shake---its just talent emanating from within lol!
I'm personally no fan of Louis Vuitton, but there is definitely something to be said in the skill that Bedo deploys in the restoration of them. I love that he has the patience and skill to take them from used to his version of new. I can see the justification for the cost it takes to accomplish his mastery.
Great job Steve as always, you perform miricles. Awsome coffee and biscotti info and keep up the great videos. Many blessings to you and your family. #1 fan in South Texas.
Geez !!! I cut it THREE times, and it's STILL too short !! Good save Steve. LOVE the intro. As much as I love poking fun at gawdy looking logo'd bags (gonna need more than a baby wipe to remove those stains) (logos), I'd be crazy to get my panties all wadded up and leave, just because you're working your magic on one. I was waiting for the acetone to make a cameo for stripping down and cleaning those handles and pull tabs... and then the world renowned Bick 4 to the rescue. Next time Chris neglects your coffee cup like that, squirt some glue on his head, sprinkle a load of leather dust on and hit it with the activator. That'll fix him. LOL
You did an amazing job. I loved how you managed to fix the canvas cracks with leather dust and glue. Years ago I was sanding the floors at my old house and used saw dust and glue to fix a few holes. Its such a cool thing when you get creative. I wish I could send you my speedy one day. And turn it into a cross body bag tòo. 🤣 should be a piece of cake for you 🍰😁🤣🥰
I've had my little business for over 20 years now and there is one thing I live by. You cannot please 100% of the people 100% of the time. I do my best, I am fair and honest with my clients, but I know, there will be those who will not like my work. So be it.
Can acetone be used on the handles to clean and lighten them? I use hand lotion a lot and I know that’s what is making them darker. I have some bags where the handles have gotten darker and don’t match the other leather on the bags. I would love a video on how to properly clean and condition all types of shoes, bags, etc. if that is something you would like to do. Love all your videos!!!!
Steve, when I am working on guitars, I frequently take super glue and wood or bone dust to repair a nut or a small imperfection in the wooden fingerboard. It is nice to see that folk who work with leather use a similar trick. You do a wonderful job of showing off your craft all the while threading the needle on current political divides. I am sorry folk can't understand or take your word that you are not making a political statement by flying your flags. You know this already, but you can't please everyone. You are not a box of chocolates or a jar of Nutella.
I collect vintage Louis Vuitton and can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your channel. You are a true artist!

As a LV owner, I just do not understand how people let their expensive bags get to such a state 😱. It came out beautifully, nice work once again!
I wondered the same
How much value of the bags is lost when its restored?

Another beautiful transformation! It is smaller, but a very useful size to be enjoyed for years to come.
There's just something so enjoyable about the hearing of stitches being cut. Another great video.
getting hung up on brands is silly, it's quality craftsmanship that matters and you nailed it, Steve. Beautiful work.

I love all the LV makeovers!
Omg the finished product is so beautiful! She’ll be very happy with that

what type of grade leather, grade process are Vuitton leather bag products?

Started to make some coffee myself during coffee time ☕️ 😁 the bag looks great! Became an awesome little speedy 25
