Hey Steve, I really love your work!!! Just a precisation, is not a speedy 30 but actually is a speedy 40. Te measurement is in cm not in inch and the size is refer to the length of the bag, from the piping gusset to the other.
I love watching you, you're a gem and make me laugh. Especially about the knife sharpening I know what people are like making comments when it's not them doing it.
Right now I need to sharpen my scissors. I have many pair, between buying them myself, and inheriting even more I can put it off for a while. Sharp knives and scissors are so much nicer, and safer. But stopping everything to sharpen requires discipline. I am very happy to own an electric sharpener.
It is a testament to you that you show when things don’t work out. I think far to many only show when the perfect video which we all know it can never be perfect all the time. The bag came out beautifully. Great video, thanks for keeping it real and honest.
Wow!!!! You can’t put a price on this! Seriously it’s a work Of art you achieve. You take what’s in front of you literally elevate to a level money can’t buy. At this point, we’re looking at a functional work of modern art nobody expects. Just wow. Go smoke your hookah… you deserve it Steve!!!!!
You’re so right about care of these bags, Steve. I use Bickmore 4 on all my leather bags but I also use it on the LV canvas occasionally. It really brightens it and I’ve never had a problem with damage from hand sanitizer etc I think because it has a fine layer of Bickmore 4 on it.
It is interesting, I am pretty good to take good care of my leather oxfords, but completely ignore my bags. Which is silly, I buy a good ( not super expensive, just nice quality) leather bag about every ten years. I should take the opportunity to condition it when I clean and polish my shoes.
Good Morning Steve 🙋🏾. It's good to see you today ‼️ , I hope everything is good with you and your Family. Enjoy the rest of your day ‼️🙋🏾 Awesome Job ‼️😃👍🏾
Steve that bag is starting life over again it’s better than the day it was new as soon as I see Bedo’s and LV I know it’s going to be a great video of the best craftsmanship and it always is great Saturday afternoon viewing ❤
So for now on i want happy go lucky steve not thinking about the hater steve. Because those who support you deserve the best steve and thus the best content and downer steve is not why i came to this channel. It was because you have a skill you are happy and positive love the dress up show off days i love coffee time with friends. Dont read them or dont take it to heart. Because im here and others just like me who love to be here because of who you are and what you do and so much more you bring to the table. Much love and God bless.
I expect you have answered this before, but maybe you will indulge me.💕 My husband has Ecco brand dress shoes. They have a molded plastic/rubber type sole. After about 12 years his favorite pair, the soles failed spectacularly, and inconveniently. He hadn’t worn them in a while, and upon exiting the car for our daughter’s wedding at a botanical garden, they just started falling apart in chunks. Thank God the chunks were largely obscured by the grass. Anyway, can that type of shoe be re-soled? Since he had a spare pair, and retired he doesn’t really need two weeks threw them away. But I just wonder. Thanks. Watching your work has really made me wish I was somewhat younger, it is a craft/art I believe I would love to learn. I have learned so many interesting things watching you apply your years of experience and knowledge!
I bough a Calvin Klein bag for a trip, and by the time I got to the destination the bag broke, the crossbody strap fell off. I took it to the cobbler and he put new rivets. I didn't like the bag anymore because of that, but I used it to return home. Sometimes the repair ruins the feel....
Wow! I’m impressed! You really did a great job,I was wondering how long it took from start to finish? Also wondering where you’re located? LV brought me here and I’d love to have a pocketbook fixed
Steve, I'm gonna be honest. I upvote before watching because I know what will follow. Pure craftmanship
Same here.
I do the exact same thing!! On every video!
Vintage LV Speedys are superior quality to what is being produced today. Totally worth restoring, will never look fake. Wonderful work.
Hey Steve, I really love your work!!! Just a precisation, is not a speedy 30 but actually is a speedy 40. Te measurement is in cm not in inch and the size is refer to the length of the bag, from the piping gusset to the other.
Thank you for noting this!!
Sorry you had to redo that, speaks to your integrity. I enjoy watching you repair all the things.❤
That sigh of frustration. Looping thread around a rivet with shaky hands is just a cruel trick of nature. :). Great job, Steve.
“Hey man🤪You can’t hammer a Louis Vuitton bag “lol Thank you dear Steve. Amazing work as always.
Wow! It actually looks larger than a 30….it looks like a 40…Great craftsmanship….let’s continue 👍🏽

Louis never looked better!

I hate when a project feels "cursed." Now that I'm old I don't get mad anymore. I just sigh and keep going. Bag looks great.
You check all of the boxes as a national treasure.

100% as always, Steve, quality work a pleasure to watch Thank you for sharing..👍
"30" is the length of the bag in centimeters, not the perimeter in inches
That is a great skill to have - what a smashing result.
Really great job! The bag looks like new! 👍
Wow! Looks amazing.😊
You always brighten my day.
Good job love to watch you God bless you
Great job Steve
Good news about re-doing things - you know how to and don't need anyone else to do it for you!
Awesome work, so impressive to watch!
Great video as always. I picked up a few tricks...thanks for sharing
Master you did it again cheers to you health and happiness 🍻

I’ve got a few, Adler, Juli, phaaf
When you have a snafu that makes frustrated and sad. All the work you had done so far than having to tear it out.😩
YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!
looks amazing
Always stupendous. 🎉
Steve, the surgeon.
Hi Steve, love watching you!! Learn so much. That being said, why do you clip the leather at a slant instead of a 45 degree angle?
This was great! Would you be able to add the leather side strips and an adjustable strap to turn a regular Speedy into a Speedy Bandoulier?
Anything is possible
Hi Steve, 30 is the length not the circumference x
"hEy MaN" the width of the bag in centimetres is 30. Being French and all, no inches over there. Great video as always!!

What is the best moisturizer for an LV bag?
*amzrepe* The material is wear-resistant and relatively easy to clean, which makes me feel at ease during use.
I hate how good you are
I noticed the leather handle and the side tabs weren't dyed.
They will darken naturally. All trim on new bags are light in color... The color 'ages'.
Actually the size 30 means the bag is 30cm in with! I think the bag in the video is a 35/40 😅
Yep!
Yes, that is definitely a 35.. I have 25, 30, 35, 45 and this is def a 35.
Looks like 40 to me. I have a 30 and its much larger
How do we get in touch with him to get some work done?
@@reneemoten20 go to his home page and you will see his contact information
Steve,
Just like the bag, the older we get, the more stiff and brittle we become 🤣😂🤣😂 nice work! Please continue
😎👍
13 minutes in I’m wondering if the tab with the date code is remade is it still considered authentic?
I thought about remaking it but I kept it the same

If you go to the main page, look under “about” or just google Bedo’s Leatherworks
I have a LV speedy bag I brought in the 80's. Would love to have it restored. How do I go about it 🤔
You are welcome to e mail me with some pictures bedos@yahoo.com
I will follow up with you. Tks!
Hi Steve, awesome work! Where do you get your veg tan leather from?
Hide house in California
@@BedosLeatherworksLLC Thank you Steve. You are a true leather craftsmen. I love your work.
How much does it cost to do what you did to speedy 30. I have one
Did you not watch the video???
He said it’s $1200 job but I would guess it depends on what you want done and how badly damaged your bag is.
