Bought the SOG baton Q1 and aside from it being a little uncomfortable for writing and not having much grip I thought it was pretty good. At least until I cut my first zip tie and it completely blunted the blades and caused them to mesh and become useless. I was able to file it out with my leatherman but ended up returning it as I really need a pair that can cut a zip tie. I wish there was a just a pen/mini diagonal cutter multi tool.
I just cut paracord on Saturday to tie down inflatables for my Chinese new years festival. Scissors are a better option when you have a friend holding the paracord to be cut.
I carried the mini buck 350 as a kid. I bought it with my own money then asked for a fullsize 360 for Christmas. I'll always have fond memories of the 350 but the full-size wasn't as well of a made tool
nice video! my experience with Surge was terrible, many tools on it broke, scisdors among them. it got vertical play between the blades. same thing on Squirt PS4. easy to fix, but both tools were expansive... i moved to Dime, then Skeletool CX and now to Swistool Plus ratchet. its way betrer then Surge. maybe my Surge was an exception but for me it does not matter...
I loved the idea of the American made Schrade Tough chip but mine didn't cut very well and I didn't really like the impliments much. The Buck 360 mini bucktool has interested me, but I have yet to try one.

I had a Leatherman in my desk drawer at work for about 30 years ( it was part of my work tool kit ) but rarely used the scissors on it as I had a larger pair of good quality scissors in my desk. With Victorinox scissors both the 58mm knife & the 91/93/111mm knife sized ones, I have had lots of use over the years, as I have since I was a child carried one or two SAK's on my person every day and I always have a 58mm SAK ( currently I use the Midnite Manager ) as my default key ring knife & a 2nd SAK on a rotational basis most of which like the Pioneer X, Farmer X, Huntsman & Climber have the very useful full size Scissors. My experience with the Wenger style self sharpening scissors is more limited as I only bought a 85mm EvoGrip S17 & S18 this year, the S18 in January & the S17 in March but they seem to be as good as the slightly bigger Victorinox model large scissors.

on a daily basis scissors are so much more useful for me than a pliers or even a knife, i wish more edc multitools were scissors based.

The 355 was made better than the 360 for sure. The 360 was a step down.
