I stopped going to the nail salon and I don’t really miss it enough to go back . The cost has gone up and it takes at least 1 sometimes 2 plus hours . It’s crowded and the customer service can be rude sometimes not always but a lot . That’s because they have so many people coming in they aren’t afraid to lose your business because there are 10 more people behind you .
Buxom single eyeshadow in the shade Mink Magnet seems like it would also be a good alternative to the Chantacaille one! Such a good one-and-done, and, even after trying more bougie cream sticks, I still reach for it.
you sound like you have similar lip liner preferences to me so i shall recommend to you! the milani pencil. my shade is 03 nude. constant repurchase. 😎
The Kiko eye shadow can also be used wet to give a really nice metallic look. They have tons of colors and the older formula is on sale right now. I also recommend the Kiko eye shadow sticks, they have shimmers and mattes and they work great. I love them!
Hi! Def not trying to diagnose, BUT! I found out I have evaporative dry-eye / dry eye disease (DED) caused by meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). I'm doing Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy and it's made a difference. It's a v expensive treatment though. It sucks to have eyes that *never* feel comfortable so I hope you get it figured out!
Omg that IPL treatment is actually what my doctor recommended so I appreciate your thoughts and experience cause it is quite expensive! I am doing eye drops and some vitamins that were recommended first but I am considering doing the IPL if the dry eye persists!!
@@LaurenMaeBeauty sure thing! but also maybe don't get too excited. i feel so embarrassed. idk why I didn't say this before about the treatments. so there are 4 "sessions". after the second one, my eyes felt SO calm and awake. It felt like something was "missing" bc I was expecting that constant discomfort to be there and it wasnt. HOWEVER I didn't feel a difference after the 3rd treatment. And my eyes have been doing their thing again where one will water, then burn... so idk about it now. my bad for be misleading! 🙏🏼
I don’t know if your eye doctor mentioned it, but there are special eye drops for people with extreme dry eye issues (not the regular visine) A friend has to do that and I think it might be a prescription product.
I would suggest swapping the orientation when you apply the eye patches to cover more of the undereye ❤…. I am excited for another round of advent calendar vids too!!
Chantecaille shadows are stunning to say the least. They're one of my favorite brands in general and their lippies are my number one! Thanks for all you do Lauren. I appreciate your straight up no bullshit, I'm-not-a-princess approach, it keeps me coming back. 💜💜
Omg girl these are the videos of yours I am obsessed with THE MOST!! Ive found all of my absolute favorites from these videos of yours!! Cant wait to drool over every single second 😍 Edit to add: my wallet is already crying and it just started 😅 meh, oh well. Bring on the sparkly dreamy beautifulness!!
I love the Osea body oil! It smells like nothing I’ve ever smelled before. I am obsessed. It has gone on sale at Ulta before so bonus if you can get it for a deal. It’s not sticky and there is no shimmer. It layers nicely with a lot of lotions/fragrances.
Osea has a beautiful vagus nerve bath oil. Omg! I love it so much. I then use the tropical tree hut body oil right after a shower while my skin is still damp. Then I lotion with Jergens coco body lotion. Then, I use Vaseline on all the spots that I spray my perfume. It’s excessive. But, it’s become my ritual!
Love the Industrial 2.0! I’m a neutral girlie and LOVE IT! I thought I was the only one who loved ND concealer for everywhere BUT my under eyes. I can’t get it to look good. Loved this video!
If you like the kiko water shadow and the chantecaille, you might like surratt as well. They're all slurry formulas and have a lot in common in terms of texture. The Kiko water shadows are so underrated tho Love them.
I’ve been loving the Tree Hut body oil for the days that I also use the shave oil! Also: I hit pan on a shade in the I Need a Nude palette this week. I didn’t see that coming.
I subscribed to your channel this year and love your content! So relaxing. I watched while washing my makeup and hair brushes. We share similar skin types and tastes. I LOVE those Colour Pop shadow stick shades as well. Trying to think of some of my favs - the LYS setting powder has been a godsend for my oily skin. I actually love the Holika Holika butter highlighter for a natural looking glow. I also finally got to try Half Magic and Moira eyeshadows and they are beautiful!
Necessaire has a whole line of body skincare that is awesome;body serum, retinol and peel. Game changer to add body retinol prior to lotion. It’s helped smooth my legs and rid of bumps from shaving.
YESSS the glamnetic nails!! Their caviar set (black french tip short almond) is my GO-TO for that exact reason. Love how long it makes my fingers look as a plus-size girly, actually feel so slay, and the quality of their nails is everything. SO good. I branched out and tried their short oval during their birthday sale and OMG, one of my new favorite lengths too for practical everyday business. Time to try their longer lengths for those EXTRA occasions next!
I’ve been loving the it cosmetic facial sunscreen it is SO smooth and blendable. Also the tower 28 concealer is my new holy grail it’s soo serumy and still full coverage!
Some of my favorites lately because you asked so nicely: After doing bold eyeshadow looks for years just to photograph and not necessarily wear out I've been settling into more no-makeup makeup for daily wear as of late. I've been really into underpainting (which I think you taught me how to do) red blush under my foundation for a sunburn look. I love the ELF Putty Blush in Maldives and I recently picked up a Canmake Tokyo cream blush that's just a primary red and I love it. I use the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation all the time (even though I think it's discontinued!!!) and the ELF Halo Glow. I've also been into a popsicle lip stain moment and I bought some Into You Watery Lip Matt lip stains on vacation and I'm using them often. I'm a nail polish boy and ILNP has and will forever be the elite polish brand for me.
i love the body oils from Ahava (it’s a dry oil), Nuxe, Osea, and i have some more but my fave scented one is myth by Ellis Brooklyn… it’s great to layer on top of!
Great video. I am as obsessed with eyeshadow sticks as you are. I love the Sisley ones!!! Expensive but worth it. Did you ever try the Charlotte Tilbury ones? Would be interested in hearing your opinion on them.
Thanks for the video! Body oil is part of my daily routine, i ❤ it so much. I bought like a wax melt thingy from Amazon for like $12, and i heat mine up in that for after the bath /shower so its warmed. I like the sol de janero, Moroccan oil, or almond l’occitane oils for scented oils. Sometimes i add trader joes marula face oil, a jojoba oil, and then one of the scented ones i like to the warming dish to try to stretch out my expensive ones. While not crazy about the scent, nuxe dry oil is incredible. That one is a spray so i dont do that warmed.
Ok this is gonna be the top best oil you've ever smelled it's like a spa and it feels so nourishing, no shimmer, worth it to jus buy on its own -from planet beach - yeah the old school tanning beds 😂contour oil it's so so good. I also like herbivore jasmine oil if you like that tea
The thing about those Chantecaille shadows is they have visible micro-glitter particles similar to the UD Moondust shadows. On me I’m more comfortable with sheen rather than chunky sparkle.
I feel like I remember in one of your fragrance videos you liking a hinoki scent…? But if you haven’t tried the Tatcha hinoki body oil OH MY GOD it’s a spa but also slightly woodsy heaven.

I have tried tons of foundation and can never find one that I like or doesn’t make me look old. The Natasha denona concealer does it all for me also! I have the same skin as u-oily with dry patches. The struggle ugh
I have disliked body oils for a long time but I love the Osea Undaria Algae Oil. My skin just soaks it up. The smell is a light kind of essential oil smell
I also love the Kiko eyeshadow in 200 but I just saw on their website that they’re reformulating. 😱 I’m really hoping they don’t mess it up - it’s such a great shadow formula.

I hate dirt under my nails. It just looks neat & spiffy it’s actually kind of high maintenance you wouldn’t even think but it is to keep them clean & buffed. I’m obsessed w 3 brands I stan: Adept Cosmetics, Natasha Denona, & Blend Bunny. Im obsessed w the Sabrina carpenter look! She’s such a cute sassy lil girlie I am obsessed w a couple of her songs. When I see that brown ups truck w my Sephora box I’m like ohhhhhhhh yay 😊😅😮🎉❤ I also love all indie makeup & sub to Eyescream & Slay Glam I was an OG iPster (boxycharm) since 2014 now I quit this spring never looked back. the jet lag mask burns on my skin. body oil is so nice. i used to hate the feeling of oil. but my skin is so dry, it drinks the oil. my favorite brand is light and bubbles. they have nice body scrubbs too.
The kiko eyeshadow in 06 is my perfect satin taupe! But you have to pick it up from the kiko website directly (or in europe, I bought it on a trip), for some reason it’s not in ulta
@@LaurenMaeBeautyif you do pick it up I’m so curious to know how it compares to pinto too! They seem like they could be in the same realm maybe but I’ve never been able to swatch pinto in person
Re: the kiko single eyeshadows, I don’t feel like all the colours are equally well formulated. I got rid of a few of them and only kept that gold shade you showed in this video
You make doing wings look so easy! Goes to bk beauty to get the 208 specifically… Check out Half Magic single eye shadow in Wet Pebble. I think it could possibly be a dupe for your Chantecille (? spelling).
I got the ouai body mist and I do really love it but my lid cracked and the sprayer leaks a little bit. Kind of disappointed about the packaging, but the scent itself is worth it.
Soooo jealous you got to see Charli live! Looked like a GREAT show! I have had brat on repeat for weeks! Such an incredible album. I think I will finally pull the trigger on some of those Glimmering Creatures singles - I have been eyeing them for quite sometime. I finally bought the Nearly Naturals palette before it was gone and have no regrets!
I sleep with my eyes open sometimes, it’s to the point where people talk to me thinking I’m awake. Needless to say, I need to apply eye drops every morning.
I wonder, it you slept with an eye mask on, would it shield your eyes from drying out so much? My boyfriend has one for flying that’s almost like soft goggles that don’t touch the eyes. It looks like a face bra. Lol.
I recently got four products from RMS Beauty, after Jen Phelps did kind of a deep dive on them. I got the cream shadow called Strobe which is the type of minky color you like, basically. And I love it too. I shot out way too much product the one time I’ve used it so far, because it has that metal tube that has no give. I stupidly applied as much as possible to feel like I wasn’t wasting it. It was too thick and made my eyes look scaly in places. Total user error on my part, I will of course try it again. I’d be curious to know what you think of that brand.
When they brought this out, I was so hoping for a whole collection of products incl. one of those big palettes. But so much seems to have changed since the brand was sold :(
HauteMessTom has a lot of taupey eyeshadows including the chante one and had a bunch of similar shades swatched in their recent eyeshadow declutter if anyone needs an alternative!
They actually aren’t books! They are puzzles from Piecework that I have on their sides!! I love their puzzle artwork and that the boxes can double as decor! 😊
Hey Lauren! If you're ever looking for a cool leaning sister to Wherever Walnut made by MUFE, try Totally Taupe. Imo, it's ::chef's kiss:: 😘 perfection. As long as I have those two, I could seriously get rid of all my other lip liners and still be perfectly content with those as my only choices. (I very rarely ever wear a red lip, but if I did, that would be the only addition I would realistically need.)
You’ve been Ouai-ting for the St Bart’s body mist 😂
🤣🤣🤣

I finally bought the Nearly Naturals palette before it was gone and have no regrets!
How do you prevent mascara smudging when you use cream shadows?
🤩 ❤
I'm not Lauren, but I believe that she uses cream shadows that set? And tubing/38° mascara works with oily eyelids.
@@elnaketju ok thank you 🌸
I still want that ND I need a nude palette
It’s soo good!! A great staple!!
Lol.
I was loving the Glamnetics until I got the "greenies" . Not fun. Waiting for them to grow out now.
💕💕💕
I am here for it. Happy Friday ❌️ ⭕️
Which bracelets did you get?
I got the Sweet Nothing first for something dainty and then got Second Avenue second for something chunky :)
the CT exagger-eyes is discontinued :( it is also my fave one-and-done
When they brought this out, I was so hoping for a whole collection of products incl. one of those big palettes. But so much seems to have changed since the brand was sold :(
What nail glue do you use?
I use the glamnetic one but the brush on which is great for an even application!
😊👍
HauteMessTom has a lot of taupey eyeshadows including the chante one and had a bunch of similar shades swatched in their recent eyeshadow declutter if anyone needs an alternative!
Who is the publisher for the books behind you?
They actually aren’t books! They are puzzles from Piecework that I have on their sides!! I love their puzzle artwork and that the boxes can double as decor! 😊
omggg i didnt know u were a brat girly 🤭🫶🏼 brat summer 💚
ice rolling can be really harsh on skin, not great for roscea
Off to 55 I'm you😊
Are you single?
