Yesssss to KBeauty videos! I’m 48 and at this point I use almost all KBeauty because I’ve had to go lighter and more muted with my makeup as I get older. Plus it’s great as I have cool toned skin
Hey Lauren! So, I was watching a video from Alexis and Christine (The Lipstick Lesbians on TT) and Alexis said that the brand Tir Tir was started by a Korean influencer who was looking to bridge the gap between the Eastern and Western beauty markets and that their mission statement is actually about bringing radiance to every beauty consumer through their products. Which, if I'm being completely honest, sounds like it was created with a beauty enthusiast just like you in mind :) Might be why you're feeling a pull towards the brand 😅
The Asian packaging is absolutely the most creative out there. Isamaya’s is close but far more expensive. Love unleisha shadows and CosRX night lip cream. Thank you so much for these Kbeauty videos Lauren!
Yes!! K-beauty and C-beauty with Lauren, I love 🤩 For your next haul, here's some products I use every time I wear makeup and very highly recommend: - Peripera V Shading contour (I use the shade 03 grayish cool but 01 and 02 are warmer) - Etude Big Cover Skin Fit concealer which I use as foundation and concealer (I use the shade light vanilla 17C1) - Peripera Ink Black Cara (I use 01 long lash) I'm about to be on my 4th tube and it's my tried and true - Pyunkang Yul cleansing balm, which I especially like because that Peripera mascara is waterproof and incredibly long lasting so for some time taking my makeup off was a 2 step process but this cleansing balm dissolves it easily and I wash my makeup right off
The Pyunkang Yul blue cleansing balm is the BEST. My skin doesn’t go red and hot after a PY skin routine, so I’ve decided to stick with it. I think they’re a great brand. I’ve got a few more KBeauty skincare items to try and there’s a few more, but I tend to try the routines that have a small routine set rather than go for big containers that might not work. I’ve got roseacea, plus MCAS, so my skin is extremely reactive, with a side order of eczema and dryness with hEDS. Not the most fun!
Would you consider making this series? Like testing brands from Canada, Nigeria, the UK, etc. Or ranking the "international " products in your collection?
LAUREN i just had a yesstyle cart and I was debating on pulling the trigger. love the recommendations and I'm glad I held off yesterday since there's new sales and your coupon code now 😄
The Haruharu WONDER - Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily Sunscreen is my holy grail. It has a nice velvet finish. It's the only sunscreen I've found that looks good under my makeup and it doesn't break me out. I have more normal/dry skin but I think it would work well with any skin type.
your channel is one of the few that give us such great content. you shared products i have never heard of and it's great not to the same companies over and over. thanks so much
i loveeee your yesstyle videos!!! peripera, romand, clio, unleshia, and etude make some of my favorite lip products, and i’m always down to try their newer products. i’m dyinggg to try more from girlcult, colorgram, jooycee, gogo tales and other brands. the sparkly eyeshadow sticks look soooo pretty!!! the fwee lip gloss intrigues me. you can’t beat kbeauty skincare and sunscreens. i’ve found my HG sunscreens from haruharu, heimish, and beauty of joseon. cosrx has awesome products that i use daily including the essence. 💗💗💗
Hey Lauren, did you mean to pick up the mineral iteration of the HaruHaru spf because their chemical is the one that I prefer. It’s called the Black rice moisture AIRYFIT. I have lots of suggestions for spf, especially for us more combo/oily peeps. Lots I’m currently trying too. Japanese, Korean, Chinese-all cornucopia of stuff. I do have a real appreciation and soft spot for Asian beauty. I really enjoyed your video, as I always do. Take care of you!
I love the essence from cosrx. I use it at night and after my at home microneedling, it's so soothing! It was really fun to see you use that bubble mask 😂
Girl I’m using that heimish cleanser right now and it’s become a top favourite. Pea sized amount lathers up and it cleans so well. Totally in love with it!
that cute panda stick is only an eye hydrator, not a moisturizer ..so you’ll want to use something else with it! i’ve got the 2 different ones and they feel great but don’t do a whole lot! love seeing K beauty hauls!
My husband and I did the bubble mask a few years ago, and I must’ve put too much on my nose cause it literally looked like I had a bubble dong hanging off my face. We were dying laughing 😂😂
I have the huru huru wonder sunscreen and its one of my faves, BUT i have the regular one, not the mineral one. The regular one has NO whitecast, absorbs quickly, leaves you moisturized but dries matte, and plays beautifully under makeup!! ❤❤❤
Cosrx Snail Mucin has been in my skinroutine for years. There is nothing quite like it! It hydrates, evens out skintone, works amazingly under makeup. Can't live without it! And Round Lab has another toner, a birch sap one, and it's happiness in a bottle! In Finland we dry skinned babes need all the help we can get. 😂❤️
hi, Lauren! I have this haruharu spf and I love it for SOME use cases, but it seems to me it’s too much to pair with tirtir. I suggest pairing grey one (mineral) with more glowy and also darker foundations, cause it def has a cast + mattifies, which, you know, can be a good thing. I use it on the days when I don’t feel dry, almost as a mattifying primer, mostly in order to skip the powder. I guess what you in fact wanted to try was the other haruharu one, yellow tube (chemical), which should be much better for wearing under this tirtir thing
I’m obsessed with the unleashia eyebrow pencil. I think I got it in the second darkest shade even though I’m normally a soft brown or something a bit more cool tone. I also really like the eyebrow gel as it has super strong hold but you have to be sparing with it as it turns white if you apply too much.
I was just getting ready to put in an order to YesStyle when I saw this. Now I have to watch and make sure I didn't miss anything! I use the Tirtir foundation. One of the things they recommend is to press the sponge into the foundation and then pat it on the black plastic cover to distribute it correctly. I find that that method works well.
Thank you for this, Lauren! Just reupped on a lot of my staples. The MACQUEEN eyeliners are unmatched for me, as is the missha and purito bb creams. Threw in two JudyDoll shadows to try too, per your last recommended video ❤️
I actually love Kbeauty! Girlcult is one of my favorites, their lip products are amazing as are their little eyeshadow palettes! Their whole aesthetic is so cool. 🤩
What a fun video! Totally unique products. I love the unleashia brow pencils, I haven't tried the bubble mask yet... I LOVE the Illyoon top to toe wash - it foams up nicely for me - and the gel lotion.
@@sarahgalatea like a shade or two darker- however i have only tried 21N and it went on very light and dried to the color I expected - check dried swatches.
@@sarahgalateayeah, I’m in shade 21N and mine dried down a tad darker but it wasn’t enough to where I had to change shades. I’ve been happy with my shade choice.
The ROund Lab Dokdo toner is really just a hydrating toner. It has sugarcane extract which is very mildly exfoliating but your not at risk of damaging the skin barrier. I like to just put it in my hands and pat onto the face. It's also nice to layer up akin to the 7 skin method.
Lauren, instantly I appreciate having familiar brands in the beginning thumbnail because while I'm interested (&clicked!) when it's all unknown I get confused, lost & uninterested. Sending 💖 from WeHo
Thanks for the code and I wanted to say that the ILLIYOON moisturizer is really great but it has been out of stock for quite a while. I have been using the APLB - Glutathione Niacinamide Body Wash and APLB - Glutathione Niacinamide Body lotion together and my skin is noticeably softer and smoother. Really a steal proce wise too.
those SPF pumps are pretty big, you may not need 3 full pumps to get the spf coverage! As long as it’s a quarter teaspoon of product it should be good. You can also use the finger method - if they’re thick lines, two fingers is good. If they’re skinny lines, three fingers is good!
OMG, HAHAHA!😅😅😅😅 I had to pause with the carbonated face mask. The tingling means it is doing a magick face mask. Like that Kool-ade colour changing packets they had. Only this is way more fun. So cool how K and C products are known for their skin care.😂😂❤😊
Clio Kill Lash is the best mascara I’ve ever used. I used to love the Tower28 mascara but I found it flakes on me, and it ran out too fast. I tried the Clio Kill Lash for a replacement to the Tower28, and I love it even more. BUT, it is a pain to remove 😮 I have to use a cleansing oil/balm and massage it for quite awhile on my eyes. But I have very watery eyes so it doesn’t bother me that it doesn’t come off easily 🤷🏻♀️ I like the reassurance of it not smearing 😊
Ok first off, thank you for the code, it came at a perfect time! I would like to give some recommendations too. I have quite oily and clog prone skin, so maybe it can help some people. For SPF I recommend the House of Hur Sun Fluid. It has a velvet texture without being thick and heavy and it works like a dream with make-up. It is also not so matte, that you loose all glow on your skin. For serums and toners I love Isntree. Especially their green tea toner. It is hydrating and they made it with oily skin in mind. Their Emulsion from the green tea line is my current light weigt summer cream. The brand Mary and May have a great tea tree and heart leaf serum that works amazing for troubled skin And the best ever cleanser in my mind is the RoundLab Dokdo Foam cleanser. It is so soft on the skin, it is amazing For makeup I recommend the Clio brush liners, I love the brown one. Eyeshadow wise I would always go with Dasique. The Palette in Sugar Brownie is my current every day palette to use. The mattes work well and the shimmer shadows are so beautiful I hope this helped, pleaser excuse any spelling mistakes, english is not my first language
You won’t regret the Illyoon wash, I promise. I don’t know your skin type…I found it to be thickish, but slow to penetrate my skin. I actually preferred other, simpler KBeauty products over this. (It makes a great hand cream though)
Also just wanted to say that I love the way you edited this - with the swatch and then the try on right after - because the packaging always gets me too. Also the links in the description are amazing. Lauren you are doing the Lords work here 😂
