I have this fryer and love it but don't use the preset times for something like Fries unless you're doing a good amount of fries for several people. When doing smaller batches of food for just myself I'll start at low times and build little by little until it's cooked to my tastes. For example instead of 15 minutes for the Fries I'll set it to 5 minutes and then examine the food and adjust times from there in small increments. Yes, spray some oil on the fries etc to help brown. Don't use an aerosol spray but one where you pump it. I use Pre-heat a lot too.

The top is glass so if you drop anything on it it will chip (I learned the hard way). Periodically clean the inside of the unit according to instructions. You can flip it over on a towel to easier clean the coils, etc.

Hi, I want to buy air-fryer accesesories for this model. But which should I buy on amazon. Should I buy 8 inch ones or 20 cm ones? I don't get it. Will 8 inch set fit this?
Does it beep when the food is done? I bought one recently and it doesn't make any beeping noises when I'm choosing a setting or when the food is done

Yummy, I need to try that sometime
You might put the steak in a pan to get the sear but then you're dirtying more dishes so I just use the pan. Put a layer of foil on the bottom to catch liquids. (Same goes for sous vide cooking)
