    How nice to see a sewing room that does not have all new storage items and matching but uses normal boxes drawers odd tables etc, I thoroughly enjoyed 😀 watching, you did an amazing clear up.

      Joyce thank you so much!! My house is anything but Pinterest perfect 🤣. It was one of the reasons I hesitated making videos, I thought people would not like my mismatch 🤣

    Thanks for sharing. I hate when my sewing room is chaos, but I have so much joy when I clean it. I can't wait to start sewing/quilting again! It clears my head and motivates me

    • @Lovablekreations

      I know the feeling!😃. I wish I knew how to quilt, it seems very difficult, I admire people that quilt.

    • @TLStitches
      @TLStitches Рік тому +1

      Quilting isn't difficult. Start simple. I had very young kids when I started and am self taught. First quilt was just some 6" patches of scraps from leftover garment fabrics. It was awful! Lol I tied that one, used a sheet for backing and a blanket for batting. 2 pieces of advice if you decide to do it: do only what you enjoy and forget what you 'think' you should be doing because it's the trend or someone said so. There are tons of resources out there, including magazines and books at thrift stores. Don't fret about using only quilt shop fabrics. I worked at a quilt shop, so I have no problem supporting them, but not everyone can afford that. I buy what I like. I can tell if something is not quality enough to use no matter where it comes from. Have fun!

    My sewing area is the most untidy place. You can't keep them tidy when you work there regularly. After a good tidy I don't want to do anything in there so it won't look like before.

    I'm not sure how this video ended up in my suggested utube offerings but, I did enjoy going along with your sewing room pick-up and clean up. I also noticed that much of your storage and many of your stuff's homes are based in "drop and go" systems. I domthat as much as possible too.

  • @sandradummer4726
    @sandradummer4726 Рік тому +3

    My stuff isn’t messy, but.,then I don’t do a lot of quilting as I’m a new beginner of learning to quilt of just over 2 years and 5 months so…I’m busy watching U-tube videos like your to learn how others quilters sew they ways. I’m busy cutting sizes etc.

    Great workspace; everything is at your fingertips. Funny how fabric scraps or 'cabbage' ends up everywhere during a sewing project. May I suggest a waste basket beside your sewing machine, and one near your cutting table? Then you can throw as you go. TFS.

    • @Lovablekreations
      @Lovablekreations  Рік тому +1

      Great idea about the waste basket, I had two and my kids took one away 🤦‍♀️. It’s funny how the one waste basket that I have is never where I need it🤪. I need to get few more!

    Good job! Wouldn't it be great if we could clean up as fast as you did on your video? lol I just finished with reorganizing my basement sewing area--it took many long days. It's such a good feeling to get it all cleaned up so that we can get back to using and playing with our stuff. 🙂

    This video showed up on my feed, I looked at some of your other videos and discovered we have a lot in common, including being husky owners, or do they own us, lol! Anyway that and I eat keto, sew/craft, garden and I’m always cleaning. I’m older and my kids are grown and gone but I can tell we have much in common. I’ve subscribed and looking forward to seeing more! Take care.

      @@Lovablekreations yes, I’ve had dogs all my life including “difficult” breeds like German shepherds. Husky’s are a whole different ballgame! But I love mine too. Her name is Astrid and she has a little group of neighborhood girls who come running to pet her when we go for our walk. I think they equate her to Frozen, she just looks Arctic, lol. Have a great Labor Day!
