Thanks for the great video! Did you park your car near your starting point and start riding? If your endpoint is different from the day's starting point, how did you move back to the starting point to pick up your car? Your route looks very efficiently planned, but it seems to need transportation to and from the route to the hotel also.
Indeed we had a friend who acted like “our driver”. Drove us to the starting point and collected us back at the meeting point and then back to the accommodation.
Those dimples in the tyres are wear indicators. Nothing to worry about at all.
Good video mate. I’m doing the challenge in May this year. Can’t wait.
I wish you good weather, power in your legs and keep strong. Be well prepared because is not easy.
The small holes on your tyres look like wear indicators rather than damage.
Agreed.
The dimples you show at 5:25 in the video are “wear control points”, if you don’t see them anymore then your tyre needs to be replaced.
Thanks for the great video!

Great video! I am going to do the ride soon. Any chance you can share your gpx files? Would be good to save some kilometers doing it!
I am glad that you like my video. You can download the route as a GPX file. The link is now in the description. Good luck with your challenge!
@@cyclingafter40 My bad, missed that while watching on my iPad. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
I'm going back to attempt the challenge for a second time, the weather beat me on the first occasion. Can I find your route please?
I wish you good luck and hope that the weather is going to be your friend. You can find the route for downloading in the description.
@@cyclingafter40 perfect thank you
Can I see the route you did i.E. on your Strava?
Yes, for sure. There is also the GPX file in the description if you want to download it.
@@cyclingafter40 awesome, thank you & keep up doing the great work 👍🏻
