Sorry for my off-topic question, can you please clarify these words: currant and current? Are they pronounced in the same way? Can you please create a lesson to identify such kind of words in English?
Hey teacher Wes, how are you? Thank you, for your great lessons! I like it a lot! Your lessons are pretty well prepared and the editing is also pretty well done! Congrats!
Wow, I did really enjoy it. Some of them had a really tricky spelling. I'd really like to see lessons about famous American jokes from you, 'cause some of them are really hard to understand and need gigantic knowledge of English and American culture. P.s. I hope Louisiana residents come back to their normal lives asap.
Very interesting topic! I'm into the pronunciation of these cities. If you don't mind, let's me know the pronunciation of all American states next time. Cause some are a little bit difficult to pronounce, for example, Nevada! Anyway, thanks a lot, Mr. Wes!
Cincinnati With an estimated population of 2,190,209, it is Ohio's largest metropolitan area and the nation's 29th-largest, and with a city population of 309,317, Cincinnati is the third-largest city in Ohio and 64th in the United States.
Hello Wes, another great lesson. How do you pronounce the city of Gloucester in Massachusetts. I was recently there with my children and we were debating about the correct pronunciation.
I was from Hong Kong and English is my second language. I still remembered when I visited San Jose California the first time, I pronounced it as San Joe - s and was laughed at by people. I didn't know Worcester should be pronounced as Wooster until I listened to your video. I would have pronounced it as Wor-Ces-Ter instead. Another word with strange pronunciation is Newfoundland. I took me a long time before I noticed the word is pronounced as New-finland, not New-Found-Land. Funny thing is I sometimes pronounced foreign names correctly. I have an Indian colleague whose name is Amod. I immediately pronounced the name correctly as a-Mode without thinking and he said I was one of the very few people who pronounced it right. Another example is the Russian name Ivan. I correctly pronounced it as e-Wan while most Americans say I-won
😂🤣 how to pronounce… like an American. Which is not a language. It should be titled how to pronounce names with a usa accent. Bc they are not pronounced the right way. Not hating, I always liked to pronounce things the way they were supposed to be even if I don’t always get them right. But I try.
i really appreciate the time and effort you put into these video Wes . They are very useful and dynamic . Hope to see more in the future
Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Thanks for your comment. 😃

I thought the capital city of Alaska was Anchorage
I think a lot people think that because Anchorage is the largest city. But Juneau is the capital. 👍
@@InteractiveEng Thanks for this informative video about the cities. Now I know
is there two boston cities ?
Quite possibly. There's likely another city/town named Boston. But the most well-know Boston is in Massachusetts. 👍
@@InteractiveEng got it thank you sir
@@InteractiveEng I think it is worthwhile to explain how Boston is pronounced. Some say Bos is pronounced as boss. Some say bas.
It must be said that San Francisco and los angeles are spanish words.
Nearly all cities and towns in California have Spanish names; as the whole state used to be part of Mexico.
They aren’t pronounced in Spanish many Texas cities follow this too
