I'm sure you'll get it dialled in Cliff, i just upgraded my compressor, got one of those more silent ones, chinese of course, sold under the name Chicago Air, love it.
An honest video Cliff, it is true you only get what you pay for, but for thinner stuff what you have will certainly cut it, ( ohh a pun ) upgrade your compressor, see Jon’s workshop he bought one of those silent ones.
Freehand cutting is difficult - try using a straight edge clamped to the workpiece as a guide to run along. If the sparks aren't travelling through the work then it's not cutting - slow down or turn power up. 4 bar is a minimum, 5 would be better.
I suspect that you had too low air pressure to blast through the molten metal. My different make states minimum of 60 psi.. Good luck with it. Regards from Australia.
had plasma cutters for years-take the regulator off your compressor, change hose to half inch to the plasma, open up the regulator on the plasma wide open to the max.just one more thing ,look back on the video and watch the molten metal flying everywhere, this is not an inside job with all the wood.outside for sure, fire risk and fumes.stay safe cliff.
This. It's incredible how much air plasma cutters need to get a decent cut even just for thin sheet. I've got a 3hp 100 litre compressor and I wouldn't want to use anything smaller.
Gday Cliff, it was good to see a smile on your face, amazing how cheap these tools are now, great job mate, cheers

Cliff, some people have said take the torch guard off - it makes the torch distance too far from the material. It makes cutting much better ;)
Like you say, Cliff. It's ideal for cutting shapes in the home workshop.
Hi cliff. Nice to see you back and having fun keep going 😊😊😊 from Brian w.germany
I bought one too Cliff, but only had a brief play before I got ill, back at it next week and its on my to do list!

At a guess I'd say not enough air pressure.

Last time I saw one, they were £250. Which I thought was a bargain until I saw a Draper one for the same price at Machinemart.
Good one,Cliff.See what you can do.Thanks.
Good evening Cliff, genuinely interested in how these perform. I've stopped in the middle of Lidl a few times to look at them 😊
