The metter shows you the current drop because it has fast refresh rate! Other usb meters are not so fast - at refresh rate. I have another model, same with high refresh rate - very good!

Just a FYI the Amazon link for the AVHzY meter are returns to Amazon so you are paying a bit more but at least with Amazon you can return it. The meter is $70.97 CDN from AliExpress vs about $85 CDN from Amazon warehouse.
What do you mean returns? They are not good?
@@electronicsrepairschool If you look for who the seller is it shows Amazon Warehouse. When items are returned to Amazon by the public they are supposedly checked out and repackaged if necessary and sold via Amaon Warehouse. Normally when a new item is sold buy Amazon the listing at least here in N Americal will say "sold by and fulfilled by Amazon".

The big downside of the power supply can be that it supports only 20W PD. 15V and 20V USB-C PD Output is not supported by it, which will be required by quite a few laptops, consoles like the Switch and such things. I would look for 65W and upwards (on the Type-C PD Port)
I think you can't trigger the fast charging because your charger is not strong enough. Check the specs and try to plug the meter to your Samsung charger. Your USB charger has 18W max on the QC 3.0 socket and for QC 3.0 you need 36W charger.
Also, I like your new laptop mat. The old one you have back in the shop was always amusing to me. It reminded me of those decorations people in eastern Europe would put on their CRT TVs back in the day 😂
I tested with a laptop charger and apple fast charger, not working. The mat from the work someone sent it as a gift, is for pipes welding. This one from the video, is from amazon, same for welding, can handle over 1000 c

Aliexpress has cheap USB meters, with and without wired and even blue tooth connected meters. 8 to 12 Euro's. Hidance and Atorch are brands that have them.

try trigger samsung phone super fast charging using a 25w or 45w PD PPS charger while screen is off, your charger is only QC 3 not supporting PD protocol.

I have a better version of the charging station and again I think it's bad because sometimes it shows that the battery is full but on the phone it says 80%
