Great idea hanging those buckets to catch the sawdust ,definitely makes keeping the saw barn cleaner. Nothing goes to waste when you mill your own lumber , what you can’t build with you can burn in one of your buildings. I hear ya, when I built my log house I didn’t want any sheet rock.

I like the PVC sleeve over the Log stops. That makes it much easier to flip the log without it grabbing the top of the stops.

To avoid that thin piece I measure and mark out from the bottom to include kerf. That will give you the correct blade height on a 3 sided cant, save you time, an extra cut, fuel, and prolong blade life.

That's called quantity over quality, and I belive your correct with what they are used for your just fine. Did you ever think of just building 1 shed 100 x 60 vs 10 small ones?
