" About thee heaviest number known to mankind, Seattle 89 🤘
Yesssss!! Binge n purge 89' any Song!! But definitely "Harvester of Sorrow", "Sanitarium" & "And Justice for All" all my favs from Binge n purge , Seattle 89'!! Let's Go!!!!
I told you it's a banger of a song, glad you enjoyed it 🎉😊
The Seattle version of this song has ruined all other versions of this song for me.
Seriously that quote is in my fucking head every time I listen to it. Which is a lot hahaha
@@Metal_Mary by far my favourite is " And Justice For All", molly boy needs to do the Seattle 89 version not the studio version 🤘😁
Nothing more awesome than seeing new metalheads be born.
He's becoming MetalBoy
So true! That’s why im addicted to so many reaction channels. It’s great to see someone enjoying these songs for the first time. It’s been so long since I heard these songs for the first time so it’s a little like bringing that moment back for me.
He identified as metalhead for your likes and susprction
There were actually probably more than a few of us Metallica fans who liked H.P. Lovecraft before Metallica even came along, but this song and "Call of Ktulu" let us know that Metallica were *our kind* of dudes.
For me, a 50 year old man, your reactions to these songs are why I watch your channel. If I had a son, I'd want to share these songs with him in this way.
I’m almost a 50yr old ( that sounds weird?)
& have just discovered his channel only yesterday. Been a Metallica fan since ‘86 & loved them ever since. I’m enjoying this guys reaction to the Metallica songs. Definitely needs to listen & understand every song they have. From 🇦🇺
51 here and I couldn't agree more. This takes me back, man. And seeing MollyBoy's reactions are just awesome.
Bob Rock: How many songs are y'all gonna write about Ktulu?
James: Yeah yeah!!!
Yep. I had the same reaction in '86. Still one of the heaviest songs ever. Thank you H.P. Lovecraft.
Ikr! I’m obsessed with Lovecraft because of Metallica. And I’ve loved cosmic horror all my life.. I didn’t know he was the godfather of it.
Fuck yeah! This song is a compilation of some of Lovecrafts best! ❤🐙
"You Want Heavy!!?? Metallica gives you HEAVY!!
❤️🔥🤘🤘
Possibly the single heaviest 'Tallica song; just brilliant.
The studio version is nothing compared to the Seattle 89 live version, James is an absolute beast on this song
I think the Seattle 89 performance of this song is the single greatest performance in Metallica's entire career.
saw this and decided to say what you said. That live version is intense, on a scale of 1-10 for intensity, it hit 12.
@@bradglenvoicestrue
I concur
@@Tharanicus Totally concur my friend
It's that chunky heavy drive that won't let go!
Metallica were the epitome of all that is badass in the 80s
Fun fact, the lead guitarist (Kirk Hammett) wrote the solo in under an hour
Like every solo he plays.
@@UltraViolent21 💀
Bro, I am sure I speak for many when I say this - watching you react to these Metallica classics in the way you do, takes many of us back to those days in the 80s when we were in your shoes listening to this stuff for the first time. Seeing you blow your mind ( and maybe something else also !!!! ) takes many of us back to those glory days. I have been a Metallica fan for 38 years and it takes me back....... to the time when I sonically shit myself being blown away by this !!!!
There is a reason you have bowed down to the Kings of Music; you recognize pure otherworldly talent 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
That bit at the end where Kirk adds the wah scrapes for special effects is hella underrated. It pans around constantly and it feels like something is searching inside your brain
Congrats, you have found Metallica's heaviest song. A personal favorite of mine.
This is a neck breaker! 🤘I remember mowing lawns to save up money to buy this record when I was 14. This album inspired me to pick up a guitar and make it big. I’m 36 now and washed up now, but what a ride. I can still play, I just do it for fun now. 🤘
The Thing That Should Not Be - Seattle ‘89 Live
Watch it live in Seattle 1989. It will blow your top off!
Master of Puppets is the Holy Grail of metal albums to me. I love all the other Metallica albums from the black album on back but this album i have played over and over since the day it came out. Never gets old.
100%
Very agree
The Frayed ends of Sanity you have to make a reaction video man, that song its from the And Justice for All album. One of my favourites of Metallica
I was an occasional smoker for about 15 years (a pack of light cigs would last me 2 weeks to give you an idea). I did the ecigs and vapes from 2012 until about 2017 when I picked my pen up, stopped and the pointlessness of the whole thing hit me in one shot.
I dumped the vape on principle since I only used it at home when having a beer. Found myself looking for it every so often and laughing at myself, "See! It was a habit, not a need!"
Not preaching to you. Just some insight.
Great reaction! You make this NY transplant to FL smile!
FINALLY! Hope you loved it!
"Sanitarium" Seattle 89' live ...omg, you'll be Blown away!! But seriously ANY & EVERY Song in that concert is FIRE!! I seen them around this time in SF it was off the chains!! Also, San Diego I went...just amazing!! 🤘🫶❤️🔥
She's right 100%.
YES yes and yes again, I'm looking forward to this banger of a song, enjoy 🎧
" About thee heaviest number known to mankind, Seattle 89 🤘🤘🤘
@@paulash1523james was looking crazy when they played that song 😂😂
@@aydenronnquist1324 haha yeh, those eyes he sure did look slightly possessed 😂😂
@@paulash1523 yup 😭😭
The hidden gem on this album is Disposable Hero's. SUPER heavy thrash song with incredible lyrics. Be prepared because it starts heavy and doesn't stop through the whole song. I think you are ready for that kinda heavy now. PLEASE consider doing Disposable Hero's soon, and find a video with the lyrics because they are so very good. BTW, there isn't a "bad" song on this whole album and there is a reason it's considered the greatest metal album of all time.
Yes, imo Disposable Heros is a BANGER!! The live video from Mexico City is complete Fire 🔥 the Energy is off the chains!! It just pounds all the way through to the last stroke!! 🤌♥️🔥🤘🤘🎸
Haha it’s not hidden at all 😂
Yes!!! One of their more dark ones. Love your metallica reactions! Subsribed yesterday after discovering them
Also please reacr to their "deluxe" tracks/covers (also found in garage inc), like am i evil, the prince, breadfan,, and MERCYFUL FATE !! their best cover
Also turn the page and whisky in the jar. 🤘
@@sublime130 great ones as well. But i guess you could say that yo every Metallica song
I love watching reactions to this album from youngsters. More infectious than COVID!!
Ea Ea Cthulhu F'tagahan. This is my favorite Metallica song. It's literally ripped from the Mythos. Almost word for word.
My absolute favorite!
Please stop apologizing!! Your reactions are AWESOME!! Be yourself and stop the video all you want, swear all you want. I'm watching this because I WANT you to stop and tell me what you think. It's genuine and real. I love it and you!! Btw, They wrote this song when they were about your age. Stay gold ❤
This has been considered the heaviest song of that time, but then you have The Heaviest Matter in the Universe lol (but that's a different era to travel in later). All that's left on the Master of Puppets album is Disposable Heros, Leper Messiah, Orion and Damage Inc...... so let's finish this album!!!!! 🤘😎🤘
all of their kthulu songs are some of their all time best
Yeah. It looks like they melted your face off. AWESOME!
I remember buying this album when it came out. Took it home and you couldn't find me all weekend, soaking it all in..
WATCH THIS FROM THE SEATTLE SHOW!!!!!
This kid is being blown away.... such as myself. This The 3rd track, post hearing "Master", is when I stenciled "Metallica" across the back of my Denim jacket.
This is only the beginning of this insane album, leper messiah, orion and damage inc. are waiting for you
You need to watch the Seattle 89’ live performance. James is haunting with his eyes and intensity
the last track "damage inc" will melt your face
Master of Puppets 1986. I had this on cassette when it was new. Yup,old balls. Much respect to watch the torch blazing. The first listen in new ears.
About time you started from the beginning, The Four Horsemen and Motorbreath from the first album are well worth the listen (understatement)…the Four Horsemen will blow you away
Crazy darkness….technically sound, exceptional musicianship, it is legendary.🙏
That chuga chuga riff gets me every time. That and the ring out of the guitar is sick.
welp... it's 2:30 am and my neighbours are listening to epic songs I've been neglecting lately! thanx again! 😅🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 sorry for being so late to the party! great reactions as always!
Welcome to the Metallica family.
You love music, you love Metal, you love Metallica, you love life.......
😈😈🤘🤘🤘🤘😈😈
That last guitar solo is wicked
How good is this
Watching him just become engrossed in what we grew up listening to.
He will explode when he hears Holy Wars

Listen to No Leaf Clover if you haven't already, done with a symphony is so phenomenal
Oh thank you for reacting to this one!! Such a heavy song, one of my very favorites!!
youre diving deeper and deeper into the Metallica rabbithole, love it
So many different types of metal (and rock) to enjoy with Metallica. Don't ignore the Load and Reload songs. From 96 and 97. King Nothing, Fuel, 2x4, The House Jack Built, The Memory Remains, Bleeding Me, Wasting My Hate, Carpe Diem Baby. Just a few to start with.
Add in Outlaw Torn as mandatory listening from that era 🤘🏻
You should check the song Floods by Pantera. It's a masterpiece 🔥🔥
not yet... waiting for that revelation!!!@@ElkSlayer8172
No he hasnt
@@ElkSlayer8172No, he should do Cemetery gates and Domination for sure
With the big 3 (Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All) every song off each album is a certified banger. With maybe 1 or 2 exceptions. Master doesnt miss tho.
This is a underated Metallica song that I really love! My old ass turns my amp up and plays it everyday!
Track is such a hidden gem ngl
I have always loved this song. Underrated as fuck..
One of my favorite Metallica songs.
Dirty dirty banger🤘
Album nearly 40 yeare old!! James' vocals up to 93 were still best vocals ever in heavy music. A young hetfield was angry as F until he lost his voice in 94 went downhill.
Greatest Live Band that ever walked the Earth. Period.
Heavy metal music is just so damn awesome.
my fav. metallica tune. glad it amped you up.
You should watch this live ! Do another reaction to it live … S&M is a good concert to react to this song . S&M 1
I had the same feeling when I first heard the song back then when it came out.
Seattle 89'you will be blown away🤘💯
@2:25 Old-school Metallica can definitely get you pumped up. There's something about the crunchiness of the rhythm guitar riffs and the beat. The only other band that really gets me fired up like Metallica is Rage Against the Machine... but with RAtM it's both the music and how angry the lyrics and the delivery are, that really get you wanting to just go out and assault someone.
I highly recommend “fight fire with fire” by Metallica
Watch this song live at Seattle 89. Best concert in Metal history.
congrats bro, your channel is blowing up!!!!
Thank you!
You smile, I smile 😊
First off yes I am old AF, my first Metallica concert was in the summer of 87 the tail end of the Puppets Tour.
This album made me a metalhead and a Metallica fan for life.

Leper messiah(Metallica).You won't regret it.Slow and heavy🔥🎶
“What was that?”
THE THING THAT SHOULD NOT BE - that’s what that was.
Please react to Dyers Eve next, very thrashy despite the absence of the bass. You will love that song bro!!
Metallica did a “sequel” to “The Thing That Should Not Be” - it’s called “Dream No More” and is also quite chuggy and heavy.
Music and lyrics of "sad but true" ❤❤❤
The Four Horsemen!!!!! DOO IT!!!!
This is another of those HP Lovecraft inspired songs.
Pure masterpiece!
This song is a segway to Frayed Ends Of Sanity.
Great reaction. My favorite Metallica line of all may be:
Not dead which eternal lie
Stranger eons death may die
Thanks HP!
One of my favs on this album. Wore three vinyls out and had two stolen, nuff said
Metallica Crash Course In Brain Surgery is a killer song. It’s a cover Metallica did. But I’m telling you it’s badass and you’ll love it.
One of the Heaviest songs ever...
Check out To Live is to Die, it's about their bassist that died after the release of the MOP album.
Good things here, straightly inspired from H.P. Lovecraft novels and his cosmogony. I'm not sure if you already did or not, but Orion and The call of Ktulu are other 2 majestic pieces from these guys :)
Fuck yeah
You’re hitting the good ones bro
Badass right?!! Wish I just discovered it for the first time again!
Now you’ve got to do the Seattle 89 live version
Slow......Heavy......& Dark. 🤘🤘
please do fuel metallica its one of the newer albums its so good tho
damn good call^^^
Metallica Garage days re- revisited give it a listen you wont regret it. The wait
Now you really have to watch the live version from seattle 1989 it will blow you face of fr🤘
With it being Christmas you should review A Grim Christmas by Dark Sarah or No Presents for Christmas by King Diamond. The latter being a blast from the past.
Live version is killer!!
in the seattle 89 version james looked possed
Give it a week or so after cranking this song then go check out the live version of this song from Seattle 89..James is god like
I had to search for this one.
I think the next song should be DAMAGE INC!!! Watch the live version from 1989 Seattle. It is from the Master of Puppets album which you already love. You listened to battery which started the album, listen to the song that ended the album
Definitely check out the settle 89 live version James sings is awesome on this one
