he always seemed more comfortable singing acoustic. he pushes a lot harder in regular gigs. there's a video of him singing whatever and live forever from 1995 or 1996 and it seems so easy for him. sounds a bit different than when he's really going for it, but still amazing.
@@kddk8245 none the less better than I would have tought. Liams voice from 2005 on was horrible most of the time. So it's a good thing to lower the key so that it suits the voice
I think thats part of why his voice went bad for a bit. He had to compete with the volume of the guitars, so he shouted to be heard. Thankfully, his voice is back.

This is awesome Liam is doing what everyone wants and he's bigger now than ever with his mate bonehead. Love you forever Liam you are always a legend to me..👍👍
Im 51years old and although i was aware of Oasis and this tune i wasnt really into this type of music in my younger days. Now I'm drawn to it. I feel emotional listening to this stuff. I can say it is moving me. Great music.
Let's be honest here, this sounds fucking amazing, honestly amazed at how hard Liam must've worked to sound this good again after some rough years... Keeping rock n roll alive, man. Love it.
Liam was the main singer Noel wanted to sing the songs.and take over. That’s what all the fighting was about. So Noel left to start his own band. We. won’t see Oasis back together because Noel won’t take a back seat to Liam
All those young lads in Liam's band standing there on the stage, looking at that crowd going apeshit thinking "Wow, Oasis were really the best band of this generation."
Some might say at roughly half way through, Noels despairing voice crying “he’s better than me” can be heard if you play it backwards on an enigma machine.
"How many years Noel, n you' fookin' finally get it right?" - Liam, halfway through performing this one at Wembley in 2000 (the 'Familiar to Millions' album)
Could you have Oasis in 2020 without Bonehead?
No, but you could without Noel

I’m so proud of Liam for sounding how he sounds. He’s worked very hard to get his voice back, and I’m so happy for him

Beautiful 🙌
Hahah, word.

It's golden. 👌
No cell phones in the crowd makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

people that went to gigs in the 90's i guess. Not fucked about posting a shitty clip on Instawank. Def spoils the atmosphere nowadays when everyone is more focused on filming it than enjoying it with their own fookin' eyes !
Might be to do with the fact that it was being professionally recorded, so people were asked not to film it themselves.
@@danielhaslam5179 we had to put our phones in a sealed pouch on the way in, and could only be unsealed on the way out

LIAM GALLAGHER FOREVER! LONG LIVE LIAM GALLAGHER!
Best performance of this since 1997 without a doubt
I thought the performance of it on Jools Holland in Feb 200 was pretty decent..... Just one part where his voice broke slightly
I would say since 2000
He did it quite well at the MTV thing in 2002
@@Skate771parts yes last amazing voice of him
OkayThen That was tuned down a whole step though I think. This is in the original key
Liam holds his notes quite well here after some were saying he couldn't sing this anymore..
He just needs proper warm up and a good audio conditions: two elements hard to achieve in "normal" gigs.
He sounded so good on this show, but it is tuned down a fair bit from the original

Unreal how this is much better than the 2000 and 2002 tour versions. He always struggled with this one post 96. But he's amazing here.

Yeah Noel got fed up with Liam's live vocals ability so that was the first song to be taken off the live list
Really beautiful how the audience picks up Noel’s part of the chorus.
Whoever made the decision of no phones needs a promotion and recognition....it affects EVERYTHING
I don’t know why, but sometimes I get the impression that acoustic sets seem to suit Liam’s voice better these days.
100%. In the louder gigs his voice is strained so he has no breath support and can’t hit some higher notes.
The MTV Unplugged session is one of the best in his career
