  • What an awesome experience to have such a cool air race! I filmed this on my flight to Boston in october over the atlantic ocean! We were on approximately 37000 feet and the virgin Atlantic aircraft which was enroute to Newark airport was on 36000 feet and as we were 30 knots faster we won this small "race":D

When you look at the specs of these vehicles you’ll begin to realize how unspectacular these vehicles really are. Their turbofans are more or less ducted propellers connected to a turbojet by a shaft, the fan itself being powered by some of the power of the turbine heat, allowing more thrust to be produced from the engine than a turbojet normally would provide while not sacrificing aerodynamic deficiencies like turboprops.
Also that they somewhat are the result of stagnation and aviation microoptimizations of the past 60 years with…marginal improvements in efficiency considering the 60 years before 1962.

747 wing sweep angle is greater. She was designed at a time when fuel consumption wasn't as important as it was when the A340 was designed. Now both of these are considered gas guzzling dinosaurs.

But government never opens up with public regarding UFO's .
In Himalayas(India-china border) UFO's base or some sort of work is going.
Both the Army people thought spying drones or somthing blamed on each but later many tourists spotted some UFOs landing taking of but the exact location is between India-China no one are supposed to go nor do any kinda camping there its a Mutual Agreement between Ind-Chin .
As these sightings were strange able to see but they were not detected on radars both chinese and Ind govt officials had a discussion on this, some scientists from Russia, USA were also participated but later they have removed some videos from internet and no news were out abt what's happening there and what are those..
In India now people are not allowed to some areas which are actually tourist attractions and people used to go before.

For the record, from an aeronautical engineering point of view, the 747 is much more efficient moving through the air than the A 340 as a result of its teardrop design. Boeing HAS actually flown versions of the 47 at Mach 1. They did so on a MASH flight to Egypt and back. The 47 was equipped as a MASH unit, flew to Egypt and broke Mach 1 on the way over the Atlantic, and broke it's own record on the way back.. This airplane, or more appropriately, powered glider, is one of the best airplane ever built in the history of aircraft manufacturing.

This is a premier footage. Much credit to the film-maker for excellent camera control within operating limits of the camera, editorial and operating decisions that had to be made without pre-planning - sustaining the drama by cinematographic reportage for 1min 24secs of pure class. This is a lesson in resolute concentration, focus and maintaining narrativity, for many who wish to post on UA-cam.

Great filming...I have been on one of those Virgin A340 600's from LHR to EWR Newark - was a stand in for a faulty Dreamliner august 2015.. I never knew what we looked like from above.. I do now.. Always loved the look of the plane, seems to go on and on - like a modern day DC 8 Stretch - though far larger.
