Thanks for a good video. I never knew the plane left the ground at only 160-170 kph. Imagine at only 170 kph the air pressure can lift this gigantic aircraft. It's mind blowing
The rotation speed of a 737 at take off happens around 130 knots (at 45,360kg) or just over 240 kph. Despite having a little time lag with the ground speed indicator, it still is an interesting video - well done Moto Rider!
Depends on the weight and on the true air speed. If they have strong head winds they could take off with 0 km/h. True air speed and ground speed are different.
Planes take off into the wind, so you have to add the headwind to the display groundspeed to know what the actual rotation speed was (flow of air over the wings).
Takeoff speed is dependent on weight and head winds. So say you need 150 mph, and there is a head wind of 30 mph. In such case, your ground speed need only be 120 mph. Nevertheless, your airspeed will indeed be 150 mph. On another note, really like the way you report flight parameters during flight. Makes the video more interesting. Hope others begin doing the same. Thanks for sharing.

speed is measured in kilometres per hour. Don't get confused, in the airplanes speed is given in knots, miles per hour. But these miles are marine miles, not statutary(land) miles. 1 marine mile is equal to 1.85 kilometres, 1 statutary mile is equal to 1.6 kilometres. Hope this help.

The physics of air flight in the modern era is really interesting. While the wind resistant flight speed of an aircraft will actually decrease the higher it goes, the real ground speed will increase. This is due to lower air pressure at higher altitudes (which also greatly reduces fuel consumption). An aircraft doing mach 0.7 at 11,000m altitude, will be traveling about 800km/h on the ground.
It would be interesting to have both air speed and relative to ground. Found myself in an A380 above Greenland at 11oo kph with wind in the back, ground speed.

Several years ago, as far as I can remember, I flew with a B737-400 from Gran Canaria to PAD. After reaching the cruising altitude to about the European mainland, the aircraft had a ground speed of more than 1000 km/h the whole time.
@@McChopper2000 The ground speed can vary significantly from the true airspeed. The true airspeed wouldn't go over the max speed that the plane can achieve but the ground speed can be over 1100km/h even for a Boeing 777 flying in the right conditions
If you record speed for whole flight including landing, you will see how quick the plane drops in speed at the end and how long it can maintain the cruiser speed.
Why is everybody losing their shit here? Of course the readings won't be accurate when it's measured by instrument absolutely not intended for the purpose. Still it gives an overall idea. Just watch the video and enjoy!
Actually GPS signal was weak inside the flight so Speed shown in Speedometer might be less than actual speed of the flight. Might be 60-70kmph less. See this video in this Video GPS signal was strong ua-cam.com/video/eeqJ55jGKms/v-deo.html
@@MotoRiderAnuragDevadiga It probably is even more than that, in the video the plane is airborne at about 200 km/h + 70 km/h = 270 km/h is still less than it usually would be with 314 km/h with a speed of about 170 knots, of course it is different from the different types and weather conditions.
I was in PIA flight and it was flying at a speed of more then 1,000km/h.... that was insane. I never witnessed this kind of speed before and after that
amazing! what 737 is this? it rotated at sabot 170 kph over ground that's like 90 knots! maybe strong headwind? I thought commercial jets needed around 140kts to lift off!!
I don't know why it feels so much faster when the plane starts, than driving fast in car... My car reaches the 200 km/h way faster than the plane but it feels much slower ...
the feeling of acceleration is the pressure on your back,in a car your back is vertical,in an airplane you are accelerating plus you are at an angle and you feel your own weight too as part of the acceleration
Stop saying that the app should use Knots. We know planes use Knots for speed, but this is just a phone app for the average everyday user whom are accustomed to Kph (or Mph if you're from America). Gives you a sense on how fast planes fly compared to your everyday commute at 110kph. Also, visually you can't 'see' 800kph because they're so high above the ground as a reference point. If they were to fly just 20 feet above the ground, you'd most likely see it zoom past you extremely fast and they'd be a kilometer away just 5 seconds later.

Great video! Long time I have thought it would be cool to use my bicycle GPS during a flight. I guess it's not allowed though? I have Flightradar24 in my smartphone and use it regularly and even if I know what speeds airliners reach it would still be cool to read it at the actual flight. I like the feeling of the take off. Yes; many cars are faster up to 100km/h and sportcars to maybe 150km/h but the airplane just continue to accelerate with the even acceleration when a "normal" car and motorcycle has reached its topspeed. And knowing that these large airliners are heavier than a timber truck makes us get some understanding of the power the jet engines produce.

Air gets thinner at high altitudes compared to ground so u can accelerate effortlessly ....
800 ? nahh the max speed of a plane is 2000 kmh
I hv done a 1045kms /hr on the B787
I've done 1029kmh lol
The amazing thing is no one inside the plane can't feel the speed..!!☺
😀
Plane: reached more than 400 km/h.
H2r : H2r has left the chat..
Hahah 😅
I hav a question. While the plane is taking off, is there any uncomfortable feeling in you. Maybe something like Rollercoaster?
Not uncomfortable but you feel it when It starts accelerating and when there is Turbulence.
because of the g forces
Why is everybody losing their shit here? Of course the readings won't be accurate when it's measured by instrument absolutely not intended for the purpose. Still it gives an overall idea. Just watch the video and enjoy!
Jawed Huda Thanks bro 😊
cause it gives wrong infos maybe?
The measure is almost right..
Lol...I could stick my finger up my ass and tell you from what direction the wind is blowing. Would you like me to tell you the general direction?
Jawed Huda
No reason to watch inaccurate video...
Why don't you go suck the finger clean from guy who is asking you to determine wind direction....
I didn't know planes are so slow when they take off. Pretty interesting!
Actually GPS signal was weak inside the flight so Speed shown in Speedometer might be less than actual speed of the flight. Might be 60-70kmph less.
See this video in this Video GPS signal was strong
ua-cam.com/video/eeqJ55jGKms/v-deo.html
@@MotoRiderAnuragDevadiga It probably is even more than that, in the video the plane is airborne at about 200 km/h + 70 km/h = 270 km/h is still less than it usually would be with 314 km/h with a speed of about 170 knots, of course it is different from the different types and weather conditions.
I was in PIA flight and it was flying at a speed of more then 1,000km/h.... that was insane. I never witnessed this kind of speed before and after that
Nice 👌
How did you get the GPS telemetry and make these graphics?
Gopro's GPS telemetry feature.
Did you take off from Mumbai International Airport?
Nikhil Jadhav Yes.
How you know
Slums and the buildings
because of the fucking obnoxious amount of horse shit smog in mumbai
I'm guessing the first blip in speed was takeoff and the second was when the wheels were taken up.
Okay.
My fastest flight was back from Melbourne on a Boeing 777-300ER. We did 1250km/h for quite a while thanks to very strong tail wind :)
Brian Su Great 😁👍
thats faster than the speed of sound wtf
@@flswttr yeah it is the ground speed was supersonic while air speed was much slower. This can happen with you have a very fast tail wind.
@@BrianSu Reaching Mach 1 in commercial flights is illegal in the USA
@@mariocamspam72 your comment only applies to air speed, not ground speed. We're talking about the latter here.
It never ceases to amaze me how pilots get these things off the ground and back down on the ground.
Yes same here 😁
Throughout most of the clip it says you’re experiencing below 0.2 g. If so, where you touching the roof of the plane for the entire video?
It is showing change in G force....Not G force
great! 💙
I also want to fly ✈
Thankyou 😁
I loved it ...😍
Thank You 😁
amazing! what 737 is this? it rotated at sabot 170 kph over ground that's like 90 knots! maybe strong headwind? I thought commercial jets needed around 140kts to lift off!!
Gps signal was weak inside the flight.
Did you notice speed suddenly increased after take off
2:55 Now H2R just got behind....!!!!!
Yes 🤪😁
I don't know why it feels so much faster when the plane starts, than driving fast in car... My car reaches the 200 km/h way faster than the plane but it feels much slower ...
Because you look out of the front window in your car
Perspective.
İt is about the sizes bro
The once did a test with a Porsche or something, it was overtaken by the 747 after 1500m .....
the feeling of acceleration is the pressure on your back,in a car your back is vertical,in an airplane you are accelerating plus you are at an angle and you feel your own weight too as part of the acceleration
you need to stick that thing to a fighter jet
It will be more Amazing (Cockpit view and readings will be more accurate) 😁
Hell yeah!
The F-15C can go around 3,000km/h.
What about rocket
A great video. Wonderful to see the jet's move on the tarmac move and to take off and the speed increase in the sky upto 822 kmph. Great.
Thank You 😁
Stop saying that the app should use Knots.
Thanks for the explanation 👍
I recorded video using Gopro Hero 5 black with GPS turned ON in it and then by using Gopro's quick desktop application I added overlays like speedometer.
It only have mph and kmph options.

The speed reminded me of
BACK TO THE ғᴜᴛᴜʀᴇᴇ
😁😁🤘
Sky is realy awesome place where we enjoy to run plane at full speed without any crashing. 😄
Yes.
All because of Air Traffic Controller.
Sana all Naka flight na 🛫😭
?
Ladies and gentleman, As we are ready for takeoff TURN OFF ALL OF THE ELECTRONIC DEVICE.
Airplane mode bruh!
This is not as Superfast as ppl may think, i was sitting in a Boeing 767-400ER by Delta Airlines flying from Atlanta to Düsseldorf and that machine was flying almost 1000Km/h with 200km/h backwind
Yes , Speed might have increased when I was not recording.
Mostly every flight goes 1000+kmph
@@MotoRiderAnuragDevadiga : Its normally just under 1000km/h (around 926km/h) so that the fan blades don't go past the sound barrier. Anything faster is groundspeed with a tailwind factored in. Just keeping it factual guys.......
I Experience This Rainy Take off and sunny landing😍🤩
Nice 😁
When i was in a plane aswell it looked i was going so slow untill the pilot said we’re going about 850kmph
Haha 😅
I think that this is a game that I can't afford 😂😂😂
Gopro gps telemetry
@@MotoRiderAnuragDevadiga does it work on android? or just gopros? and if it doesn work on android can u give me a link cuz i cant find it
7:44 Me when I passed in all subjects by 100 marks and going home to inform my mom.
Haha 😅 👍
The same, but in mph
Bro domestic flight thi ya international??
International
You can use GPS because it is only receiving the signal and not transmitting signals.
Thank you 😁
@@MotoRiderAnuragDevadiga Wow! Good to know. Thanks!
my last flight was from Bangkok to Tokyo in Boeing 777-200 LR and aircraft was flying top speed on 1284 km per hour.
Wow 👌
This flight may have reached 1000kmph when I was not recording.
Thanks for sharing your experience 👍
It's amazing how the g-force didn't surpass 1gz with that crazy speed
Agua Menti because the plane is constantly flying vertically
How did you put that thing that measure the kph??
Gopro GPS telemetry.
I recorded video using Gopro Hero 5 black with GPS turned ON in it and then by using Gopro's quick desktop application I added overlays like speedometer.

When I went to USA from London I took a plane which reached and stayed for hours at 1101km/h. Anyway, we needed 9 hrs until arrival
Yes Mostly for long journey Plane cruise at 1000+ kmph.
Going from New York to London is the faster route. A British Airways flight just set the non-Concorde record at 4 hours 58 minutes from NYC to London. They reached a top speed of 717 knots which is about 1,330 km/h.
@@JonnyRicter You sure about that? What kind of plane was it? A passenger plane flying that fast would probably be destroyed.
Jim Sagubigula British Airways Flight 112 February 8, 2020. It was a 747.
@@JonnyRicter Yeah, I just read the story. 747s cannot fly that fast. This one was just lucky because it was in a jet stream going 200 mph. The 747 was going at 625 mph relative to the air around it, but because it had a 200 mph tailwind, its speed was 825 relative to the ground.
So now you see how faster everything would go without the resistance of air.
