I was surprised that the drink machine didn't blend the frappe! I've seen in other stores that they will have smoothie machines that do so and I thought the same would apply here haha! So cool nonetheless to see all the goods you tried
As an American, it blows my mind how relatively inexpensive some of these are. A great deal of these items would be at least a dollar or more if it were sold over here, and I don't even live in a particularly expensive city.
also this is quite similar but Bokksu and Tokyotreat do ofter japanese treats in boxes, shipped to your door. If this sounds interesting go check it out.
Ive seen on other videos that pictures on packaging of food items in Japan must mirror the actual food item itself. This has been determined by so many videos of vlogging in Japan that demonstrates this. 👍
I have an ear infection right now my doctor told me to have a limited diet so I've been just eating rice and fish which sucks, but your videos makes me feel a lot better 👍
I have really enjoyed your content this year I like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year🎉🎉🎉🎉
I've always been curious....do you do these shoots in one day or over several...?? Seems like a LOT of food for one sitting 😉 - Anyway, great job as always - a Canadian fan.
In one way i was surprised by the spam product. But not to surprised by it. I mainly think of spam as an American product but i should not be surprised by seeing it in other countries. The long salmon stick thing looked good. To bad the chocolate melted.
I found the video showing the haul very funny. I realized it was longer than normal and I thought, "is it going to end once the boat is off camera?" and it did. This was intentional, and it makes me enjoy it more
God, those prices! Convenience foods in the US can be comparable in quaiity to some of the dishes, but they are so much more expensive. Of course, in the US there isn't anything really comparable in quality to the fresh-packed foods like the $3 noodle meal. You could maybe get something similar for $6 here, but I would actually expect $8. It so shocking to see food prices this comparatively low during a period when the US dollar is so strong compared to the Yen.
Godiva used to sell those drinks when they had stores open here in Texas. Good ass drinks, but alas when they closed the stores the drinks went with them along with alcoholic chocolates they had. I miss those thinks Glad they live on
I always wish gas station food (grocery store too) was packed eco friendly with less plastic😭 these foods look so incredible and even if a few days old look super delicious!😮
2:52 To be honest, I was a little disappointed that the spam musubi didn't go the extra mile by separating the nori from the other ingredients so it didn't go soggy. I guess I've gotten used to being amazed by that consideration in other fast-food onigiri offerings in your Japan videos.
I like how expressive your captions are lately! It really lifts up the impressions of the food you try ❤
Yeah.
I am continually blown away by not only the QUALITY of Japanese convenience store foods but also the PRICE. Everything is so cheap!
I think you needed the straw for the potato soup and the spork for the frappe! 😄 Great video as always 🇬🇧
Yes. It didn’t work with what he had. He needed a proper spoon with a deep bowl or a straw. What he had was far too shallow.
$18.95 for what would have cost like $30 here in the states, amazing. And the quality of it all looks better too.
Another great video!
Alles in Plastik und voll nicht schön anzusehen das Essen 😂
I love that it's just a convenience shop but with a good variety and some healthy snacks.
Honestly its refreshing not hearing a voice trying to entertain and describe everything. Just pure convenience store ASMR
Those drinks with the frozen mixture and the added hot water always looks delicious, and the fried beef cutlet seems like such a feeling snack
What a lovely backdrop to sit and enjoy your haul. And the food always looks so fresh and delicious 😁
I always watch this videos during my eating time ...because it makes my food tastier
Thanks for taking us to Japan today. 😊
I thought for sure the Frappe machine would blend it for you.
yeah i thought it was a bit weird that it was like, alright bugger off now blend it yourself 🤣
Ya lazy frappe machine lol
一つの機械で数種類のフラッペやコーヒーを作るので、機械がブレンドすると味が混ざる可能性がある
Lmao it was more like a simple dispenser 😂
I think you were supposed to mix it while it's hot
Watching you sit there trying all these snacks reminds me of running out of healing potions in Skyrim, so you eat an inventory worth of food.
Waiting to cut before the boat exited the frame was hilarious!
I love these “try stuff” videos 👍🏻😊
I was surprised that the drink machine didn't blend the frappe! I've seen in other stores that they will have smoothie machines that do so and I thought the same would apply here haha! So cool nonetheless to see all the goods you tried
that last dessert looked so incredibly delicious.. would probably get addicted
As an American, it blows my mind how relatively inexpensive some of these are. A great deal of these items would be at least a dollar or more if it were sold over here, and I don't even live in a particularly expensive city.
Where I live that stuff would cost like 3 bucks
@@tableatersame most would be starting at $3 and going up to like $9 with the meals
@@uglygeguri plus tip xDDDDD
That egg and ham sandwich would be 5-7$ dollars for sure, and you'd only get like half.
Japan and the U.S. have different levels of economic growth, and that needs to be taken into account.
Those are my favorite videos of you! Simple, cool and very entertaining.. Thank you DB ! ❤
Now that it’s winter in Japan, I can’t help but think how many videos DancingBacon has prepared before hand before actually uploading them
most likely 7 years ago
(joke)
Some of the “Best Before” dates on the food in this video were in August and we’re now in December so it must be A LOT!!!
I love that you say egg mayo rather than egg salad. It makes so much more sense to call it that!
you should sell boxes monthly with food you try in your videos
I would buy it for sure. I'm thinking it wouldn't travel very well though...
@@Durwo0d Yeah I was thinking about dried snacks, candy, etc... Fresh food wouldn't last long indeed
@@bazund its a shame because some of the sandwiches look really good!
@@bazund maybe for the fresh food dancingbacons puts an airplane ticket to japan so we can try it? haha i’m just kidding😂 but maybe..🤭
also this is quite similar but Bokksu and Tokyotreat do ofter japanese treats in boxes, shipped to your door. If this sounds interesting go check it out.
Family Mart is ANOTHER GREAT STORE WHERE YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Really good food. I get the tomato and cucumber sandwich, so good
I know exactly where that is. Dotenbori in Osaka. Thank you Yakuza series!
That pudding looks delicious ❤
Wow that milk cake looks amazing
It is just satisfying to watch dancing bacon it really made my day ❤
If I ever get to go to Japan I'm definitely not going to go in summer! I think I would melt like the chocolate on those biscuits.
For a second, it almost seemed like DB was getting applause for finishing the chocolate drink.😂
It's cool that everything you got in this video was delicious! (even if the panda cookies were melted lol)
Some very interesting looking food & thanks DancingBacons 🕺🥓🤗
i loved family mart when i went to japan, i relied on them for some munch in desperate times and was not disappointed. i even kept a reciept from them
💙 my 🕺💃🥓s!! thanks for posting another great video!! Sending love to you both, and everyone reading this, as always, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙💙
😊💕

Sitting in Dotonbori for lunch on such a quiet day, how lovely c:
That's the river in Dotonbori, I've already eaten there. Great video, i luv Osaka! 😊
Japanese conviniece stores have such an interesting variety of stuff!
I'm going to Japan in 2weeks and watching dancing bacon's videos cause I'm so excited 🎉🎉
Always a good morning to wake up to a dancing bacons video!
Amen to that 😊
I love the new lineup of foods. I do think however that you didn't have to make your hands covered in chocolate if you didn't want to.... E. U. 😁
love the background tunes! a jaunty tune!
.....the summer weather...how long have you had this video sitting around?
Mrs. Bacon giving a quiet scream off-screen for the poor Panda face chocolates sent me lmao.
I have an ear infection right now my doctor told me to have a limited diet so I've been just eating rice and fish which sucks, but your videos makes me feel a lot better 👍
It kinda seems like their special frappe maker was you, considering you had to mix it yourself haha! Otherwise, everything looked super tasty!
6:30 i can't stop laughing when I seeing you eating that Panda 🐼 biscuit!😂
watching this after a trip from Osaka was a bad idea… i miss the souffle pudding from famima, i think i bought from the same branch as you did
Yum! I wish to visit Japan someday
🥓👐🏻 BRING BACK THE STREET FOOD, BACON! 👐🏻🥓🖤
Sounds like Pauline from Donkey Kong/Super Mario Odyssey is giving a concert in the background. Lovely place.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 3 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS 🎉❤
Asian stores sure have some of the most unique food items.
The chocolate in the picture looks like my future dreams and the melted chocolate biscuits are me now
The last dessert looked extra yummy
Everything looked good as always
I have really enjoyed your content this year I like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mmmmmmm. Fish pasteeeeee…… Great video. Thanks, DancingBacons.
Hey DB congrats on 3 million by the way 🥳
4:00 this fast swirling hurt my brain
Im so happy you got their beef, we always see the chicken.
I wish we had spam sandwich in the USA, super yummy. I'll just have to deal with making a Japanese breakfast with grilled spam with black sesame seeds
if the bell is activated you'll always be notified ☝️, Great video again
I love this channel so much
Shot in the dark but was this filmed in Dotonbori?
The spork with the potato soup LOL
This seems like Dotonburi in Osaka 🎉
I've always been curious....do you do these shoots in one day or over several...?? Seems like a LOT of food for one sitting 😉 - Anyway, great job as always - a Canadian fan.

The long salmon stick thing looked good.
To bad the chocolate melted.
I waved goodbye to the boat everytime it passed on screen
Your choco pandas melted into Shy Guys 😆
The Aaaaaaaaahhhh as the boat went by made me laugh pretty hard!
Is that dotenbori? I cant be sure but the boat river and railed off sides remind me of sotenbori from the yakuza games lol
I wish you would do an amazing storefront with snacks curated by yourselves. Hand selected by Dancing Bacons 🥓 😊
Ty for the entertaining video DB!
When he took out the chocolate covered biscuit there was a sound and it sounded like the biscuit was screaming out for dear life😂
5:58 love the fact that the crust is cut off for the sandwich.
I found the video showing the haul very funny. I realized it was longer than normal and I thought, "is it going to end once the boat is off camera?" and it did. This was intentional, and it makes me enjoy it more

My favorite would be the menchi katsu ❤️
Godiva used to sell those drinks when they had stores open here in Texas. Good ass drinks, but alas when they closed the stores the drinks went with them along with alcoholic chocolates they had. I miss those thinks
Glad they live on
I always wish gas station food (grocery store too) was packed eco friendly with less plastic😭 these foods look so incredible and even if a few days old look super delicious!😮
Where in Japan were you? The canal boat looks interesting.
Anyone knows the location in the video?
My guy looks like he was freezing from that frappe
that spam sandwich looked like a trip to the bathroom. i bet it was really good though
That pork in the cold noodle pack has seen better days. I think I would have passed on that one.
Meanwhile, the enthusiastic tour rides in the background.. :-)
Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but isn't Spam misubi like a HUGE thing in Hawaii?
Was the potato soup beyond its "best by date" of october 2023 or is this video from a few months ago?
Die kleinen Portionen sind immer lecker von 7 eleven!!😊
The fact that you can trust old meat and egg product in Japan from a convenience store blows my mind!
Could you start adding the end total price for all the items you get from a convenience store?💚✌🏻
2:52 To be honest, I was a little disappointed that the spam musubi didn't go the extra mile by separating the nori from the other ingredients so it didn't go soggy. I guess I've gotten used to being amazed by that consideration in other fast-food onigiri offerings in your Japan videos.
Scary pandas! 😂
3:28 sneeze 😂 sounded just like my grandmom
i wonder how long they stay in japan
these videos make me so hungry! me and my mum are saving up to go to japan and i can't wait to try the foods in your videos!
My favorite channel ❤..thank you for another video..i always look forward to them❤
